I’m a frequent customer there, my house is nearby the place. Just wanna tell that his food is truly divine, some dishes are probably the best in my life so far. The price for a normal dish is less than 5 usd, however, for special dish like wagyu beef or crab, the price would be around 30-50usd. Try to avoid visiting during the prime time usually 6-8pm, since this restaurant is considered a cheap eat for the locals as well so it’s always packed and service during that time will be sub-par.
Had the same idea until I checked the place out on Tripadvisor which is showing a few horrific service reviews. One claimed there's different prices for foreigners... I'll wait for more reviews to come in to dispute or reconfirm the current concerns. Hoping they're false claims.
@@jeng6583 So true. The chef never cooks for tourists unless you are someone known and .........throw in the rest yourself.i definitely will not recommend this place and please there are so many wonderful places to eat.
Hati KL I second you! I’ve been there and in comparison to this vid, there wasn’t even an ounce of anything awesome as depicted. Moreover, I found the food bland. I’ve been to much much better places in Thailand
Mark, your living the life and it's so enjoyable to see you grasp every second of it with positive vibes, good friends, family and good food. You make my day brighter and better each time I see you enjoy another dish. Thank you for allowing me to travel to all these places and enjoy all this amazing food with you. Your one of a kind and know your work is appreciated!
Moxie Beast ASMR but you can see towards the end with the wagyu egg and rice that we don‘t see his extremely satisfied impression leaning down his head to the right :D and we don‘t even get to see any impression at all after tasting the crab noodle😂
You know you love Mark Wiens food channel when you’re in your office but stop what you’re doing to enjoy a moment of great food and his charisma. Love you Mark! Good day! Love from New Jersey.
Good morning Mark hope you have a great day thanks for the video. I'm always glad when I eat my food before I watch your videos otherwise my phone gets wet from drooling.
@@MarkWiens you always surprise me. I'm sitting in wondering what's going to happen next or where you're going to go. I love food and cooking it. Keep up the excellent videos and travel the world at its finest.
I absolutely love his videos, I watch every single one. Always makes me so hungry! I'm a chef that quit my job and sold all i had to start making my own food videos recently, I hope any of you watch it and let me know what you think, stay hungry people ❤️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ARWCuaHeBoU.html
One day you guys should do a video/series where you and Ying switch places-she gets to be in front of the camera and taste everything first, while you film 😜🤙🏼
Hello from America!! I always love your videos.. It's great to see someone that enjoys food the way you do Mark... Keep up the good work!! Take care! 😊
Emma Jones I sometimes just google best restaurants that serves such foods to have a taste of it . Well I don’t think the foods I was served could be more interesting like what am Marks be en served . Lol wish I could cook like them !
Good Wednesday Mark, Ying, little guy Micah, Chef Gigg, and Khun Tan! Wow! Those dishes look incredible and mouth watering with fire, spices, curry, Chilies, and coconut milk!
To be honest, when I first started watching Mark eat I thought his faces were over the top and kind of phony for the camera. Now that I've been here awhile I find that I know his personality and incredible LOVE for food and I understand all the faces, hyped descriptions of every morsel, etc. Now when I watch other food channels I find them boring and absolutely love his over-the-top excitement for all things food. I can only imagine how satisfying it is for the chefs to see his expressions when he samples their dishes. I do wonder how he eats some of the hairy snouts, intestines, stomachs, etc. But hey, to each his own! Now I wouldn't have it any other way! I wonder if he cooks himself. Either way, I can't wait for more! TOODLES NOODLE : )
Rosie Palm agree lol. A lot of the food eating channels are just to show off. Mark is an authentic food traveler. It is difficult to travel with a young child too. He knows Thai even if he isn’t Thai and he gets along with people of different backgrounds where they all feel comfortable around him and let him eat with their families and friends. Complete immersion..And he doesn’t travel “in style”
Kate Lama His parents were missionaries and he spent time in France, and then the Congo growing up. He has prob eaten everything even as a kiddo! He loves food for sure. He loves Thailand for sure!
All around the world people eat so different things and so differently made. Very interesting to watch. Thanks for taking us with you Mark. Very handsome and skilled chef BTW. Greetings from Pak🇵🇰
@@jdvlog7098 so what? You are saying as if I am eating it lol. And he ate alot of crabs made in unique ways, couldn't you see that? 😅 And crabs are halal FYI.
Mark, I am really upset. That fried rice with steak and fried egg looked so good!! That really truly is my comfort food. I wish I wasnt a broke college student lol. I would love to eat it! Oh well, just gotta try and cook some up myself. Won't be half as good as the chef. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I feel so blessed to be able to see the wonderful food you eat. I loved how you ate with the chef!! That is awesome!
I'm just finished my instant ramen soup!😋but watching this video, I just savoured all what I saw. I liked the sliced pork with that sauce.🤤 The fried rice, my goodness, those red chilly peppers giving a fiesta spicyness to the rest of the dish. Delisioso! There is no doubt in my mind that all the dishes are wonderfuly delicious! Like it!
Thank you mark to make our country or my country to help and better known by people from outside I'm not just watching but I also learn English from your channel as well I've gained ton of words from you. Thank you for your passion and working hard. a thai fan
I'm not a chef at all, but throwing a flaming pan into running water is not a proper safety procedure. Starting to doubt that ironchef tittle, I'm not doubting his food tho. His cooks look amazing
As much as I really enjoyed every second of this video, I kinda feel just a slightly bit disappointed that Mark didn’t offer the steamed giant crab claw to Ying towards the end of the video. Sorry, I didn’t mean to criticize or anything, and I’m sure everyone at the table had a superb time savoring the delicious meal. Always thankful for the wonderful videos!
This is my ultimate comfort episode time after time during this pandemic. It brings me soo much joy watching whilst eating tom yum 2 minutes noodles...with a fried egg! #luxuryversion
Hi Mark, Ying and the crew! Hey to Chef Gigg, your cooking skills are amazing!🍳🦀🥘🍝 Curry Crab and Dumplings is my favorite crab dish and the ones you made were delicious! Thank you for this taste bud treat, I really could eat some curry now, yum!😋🍝 We've also got some delicious curry in T&T🇹🇹
Mark,, whoaaa, iron chef winner to cook you guyZ dinner, whoa. The best job ever. and the brothers as friendz outstanding. Love these guyZ. You got the hook - up for real.
Hi mark ! when is Malaysia videos coming, i saw you in Malaysia few days ago filming at a restaurant, cant wait to see this malaysia food tour ! :D Like sikit org Malaysia !
Love your videos Mark, but I have to correct you. Chef Gig didn't win Top Chef Thailand. He actually came 7th when he competed in season 1. The winner was Chef Tam.
Okay I’m literally drooling because of that basil fried rice with wagu beef. When I go back to Thailand I’m definitely going to go there. I’m so jelly you get to eat amazing Thai food.
It is quite possible that I dined at this restaurant when i lived in Thailand! I spent many weeks in Bangkok before moving up to Chiang-Mai and went to several very good Thai restaurants, there are hundreds! I really enjoyed Thailand and the food there!
