finally we played troodon again. I missed the calls of this little cutie and we had a fun session. we barely met others of our species, but, had some nice encounters and even hunted pachys. but, troodon has bones made of glass ^^

@@da.mombie I have also been having issues with breaking my leg, I think they have changed something because I know for a fact Omni did not break their legs jumping down a slight slope but they can easily do it now. Even jumping from a rock(barely as tall as the Omni) will break their legs now which seems odd considering how BEEF their legs are and how high they can jump.

Damn, I don't think I will ever be able to play other dinos after herra. That bone break height... It also feels like they made it easier to legbreak on trodon than before, that sanctuary jump should've been fine. Also, I don't know how I feel about the new pounce. You can only pounce left and right, which is already 50% of target surface. Add to it inconsistent hitboxes (you were jumping right on the side of that juvie carno, froze up for a moment and then flew by), lag , the flight time at which player can rotate and the fact that players can always hear you and often see you, so they are always facing you. So, you cannot attack face on or chase down running away dino. The only options you have left is ambush (only the first jump will work on good players), or have your teammates distract your target, but since the target will be chasing them and you cannot pounce the back... Idk, what was your impression?

sry, can't say by now. in general I never liked that we can pounce from every angle. so, I like the idea behind. but, as you mentioned, technical issues like lag can make it almost impossible to pounce smaller targets now. I'm ok with the pounce getting a little more tricky, but, if we have to reach a master level to manage something simple as a pounce, then it's also annoying. so, we have to see how it will work out

@@da.mombie Yeah, I don't mind pounce to be more challenging. But in a network game with 100 and later more players all across the continent you will always have a lag, so location based attack sounds like a bad idea. Especially if you just stand in front of your target when the pounce does not connect. I am file with something like having charges, drain more stam on each consecutive pounce or have repeated pounce have an ever increasing failure chance (getting knocked off).

these are the south plains. it's a spawn area for some species. if you species can't spawn there, then it's most easy to find if you keep on the road from the highlands. so, you know the highlands have this water place which is a short river directly at the huge building. with the bridge which crosses the dam. if you come from the highlands, just cross that bridge and follow this road. it leads directly to the south plains.

nope it wasn't, I was at the ocean for sure. I also didn't eat anything but a goat before. goats can't rotten, so, it has to be the salt water in combination with the red water level

@@da.mombie ocean water does nothing but drain your water. i just went on an admin server and tested it myself, nothing happens when your water is red and you drink ocean water.

I have puked as a sub adult dilo with ofher dilos around me when i ate a deer.. ant idea how that was happen?? They said bc of sec gender i was a male 😢

interesting. 'cause another mate told me we can't vomit from salt water. but, I only ate a goat before. I have to admit that I didn't check the menu tab between the goat and the water scene, so, I might have been sick, but, I didn't think a goat can make you sick. now that you say you vomited from a deer tho, it could be a bug then :/
