@@jkb6084 I'm pretty sure about that. other than legacy it seems like they manage it quite well that every dino has its unique enemies, areas and so on. I really think this game will be great at the end. it will probably take another 5 years, but, it's gonna be awesome. I have no doubt about that. therefore I'm sure carno will be awesome. if other people will think the same, we have to see then. you know, bigger, faster, better. well, it is at least faster

honestly, I hated my colours. I'm always in hurry recently and didn't take my time. I was like, did I ever had that lemon green? was it even there before? let's take it. what fits best to it? probably dark as opposite, let's go. later on I was like, meh, I'm ugly

that's a very nice parts of doing my videos. to see that so many people don't see the game as an KOS arena only. I knew that I am not alone, 'cause I already met many nice players in legacy, but, to see how many there actually are, is still stunning and makes me very happy. you could even say it gives back trust in humanity

I totally agree. no other dino game feels so intense to me. the immersion this game offers is on the level of rockstar games. the immersion, not the whole game I love to hear you had a good fight, even if it ended badly. but, this is also something I very much enjoy. a bittersweet lost is even more enjoyabel than an easy win in my opinion.

yeah, AI gives less food and therefore a single carno can eat all AI of an whole area and they still don't respawn on a regular base. they want the isle to be tough to survive, many people want it different tho. so, it's always a back and forth after each update. at least it feels like

my problem is, I don't want to show center and northwest only. it would be the most easy way to get footage, but, it's boring. so, I always walk at places which aren't that popular. but, if I don't meet anyone there, then it's also boring to show. so, after a while I mostly return to the usual places :/

@@da.mombie I basically got The Isle because of you, though I started watching like... a year ago. I only really got into it after this update released, though. Really enjoying playing Ceratosaurus as a scavenger, first and foremost. I was just so hardcore into that mindset of hunting only if I've got nothing to eat that at one point I was drinking water next to a herd of 2 pachies and like 8 full grown or near full grown tennos... and none of them attacked me because they had watched me just clean up bodies. They kind of recognized I didn't particularly care to fight, and it was just... very nice, very chill, I quite enjoyed it. Ginger baby cerato grew up to have a white-plated head, black striping, and a blood-orange underbelly. Kind of wanted the skin to reflect my Cerato's "personality"

I know that many think like you and it's a legit strategy, but, I feel very different. I have quite some hours in evrima and even tho I am a trustful player, most of the time I die 'cause of making stupid decisions WITHIN a fight. I also died because of trust, but, I died more often to a cliff than because of trust. so, I rather die every now and then 'cause of trust, than being hyper paranoiac. don't get me wrong, I also played like this once. it isn't bad to be paranoid in those kind of games. but, personally I prefer another way. way more relaxed

yeah, somehow the people aren't as spread out anymore. it was better in update 5.5 and 6 in my opinion. that said, I didn't play that much till now and many people played teh new ones. so, we have to see how it turns out as soon as people play all the regular dinso again. honestly, I didn't even looked into it. what I saw in news videos tho, looked very much like the legacy replay. it's made for rule servers. to have a proof for a rule break. not to make good footage out of it :/

RTX 3080, Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM. I have barely FPS issues, even with many players around. in updat e6 there was an area in the center tho, where my FPS alwys dropped. can't say if it is still the case in update 6.5. haven't been much in this area since :/

thx mate ♥ yeah, I am the kind of guy who wants all to have fun. and it isn't fun to get killed from the back or without any chance to strike back. I also don't enjoy to kill just 'cause my dino outstats the other. I am no great fighter, but, if I fight, then I prefer a close battle. that said, it's also an survival game and sometimes you just have to kill weaker, too.

that does make me feel better. I'm happy about ever dryo on the isle yeah, let's hope this will change as soon as most players have enough of the new ones and go back to their "normal" dinos or at least mix it up again.

I guess galli will be a good match. I don't know how strong omni is now, but, could also be a match. pachy and teno, too. dryos are rare and troodons are not even worth hunting as adult. so, yeah, teno is the only one which spends enough food. pachy, omni and galli are all about 450-500kg only. well, the organs give quite much food, too. will be interesting for sure

I have 3090ti and i7 12700, I can get 60 fps or more at 4k or 130-144 fps at 1440p. But once I get near enough other players my frames tank, everyone’s do.

yes, I play in 4k, but limit the FPS to 60 'cause I also record with 60. I have a RTX3080, an ryzen9 5900X and 32GB RAM. I bought it for teh editing and it works very well with the game.

we didn't play that long, but, he was indeed a nice mate. I didn't get why he killed that cera, but, that doesn't mean he wouldn't be a nice mate. it still felt like karma. but, it wasn't. he showed up in the comments and told me a deino came to rescue

the animation looks weird, but even more annoying are the footstep sounds. slow, fast, slow, fast. I was so confused. I thought they may have added a uphill=slower and dowhill=faster system. but nope, even just uphill in a straight line me carno sounds switched between slow, fast, slow, fast. drives me crazy to be honest :/

Ya, I didn’t notice the footstep noises, but I bet they are super annoying, but I just hate hate hate the animation. It looks like the run is lagging or something, they’d hold at least not make the animation look like a fast walk for a fast RUNNING dinosaur. And somehow you are able to play it almost perfectly XD. Please give me your secret lol

first and foremost it depends on the player. the better player will win with both of them. after that, it depends on the surroundings. a solo cera nearby a stego body has probably a huge advantage vs a solo carno. both on the open field without any body nearby, I guess the carno should have the advantage. that's what I love at the isle and why I don't care much about stat changes. stats are very overrated in my opinion. so many other things are more importat first. like skills, experience, surroundings and even the fact who had a better stam level when the fight actually starts. if you run into a cera after a long sprint with carno, then you are in a bad position. no matter how good your stats are.

@@da.mombie Yeah I even only few days ago discovered that thirst also has effects on your stamina and I think so about other stats and hunger (like I was sub teno and stamina recovered really slow until I drinked) so combat depends even on such variable parameters like hunger and thist level and also nutrients

@@lightpows6651 that's why I don't get why people often go cray about a few stat changes. specially 'cause they will change another 20 or more times again. they are all temporary anyway ^^ and after all they count less. they count in a 1vs1 with a player of the same skill level. a 1vs1 is rare enough, to find one with the same skill level, fair surroundings for both, starting with an 3call (no ambush) and both the same stam and health (incl. diet) level is a one out of 100 chance.

Ach ja und der Pachy sowas von Grotten schlecht. Das einzige was er noch kann ist was gegen raptoren troodon beipi und die anderen kleinen viecher 😮

ich liebe sie alle. beipi macht super laune und füllt zudem mehrere lücken. als gesellschaft (natürlich auch zur jagd) für deinos und konkurenz um die fische mit ptera. troodon macht auch viel spaß. bin gespannt ob ein pachy or omni möglich sein wird. wahrscheinlich eine mega aufgabe, aber reizvoll. cera spielt sich sehr unterschiedlich zu carno ist macht ebenfalls laune. galli ist süß, aber irgendwie auch langweilig. viel zu schnell als juvie und keine challenge to wachsen. dennoch sehe ich galli positive. gerade als beute für carno. nun, alles andere interessiert mich ehrlich nicht. mir ist der wendekreis von carno, omni usw. egal. mir sind stats völlig gleichgültig. in jedem update werden sie geändert und nach jedem update drehen die leute durch, obwohl sie sich eh bald wieder ändern. sry, hat nix mit dir zu tun, aber ich kann diese debatte nicht mehr hören. in meinen augen sidn stats sowieso völlig überbewertet.

@@SoW-CE oh, my answer before wasn't to you. anyway, yeah, the 1060 isn't the fastest anymore. I had the 1080 before and it worked well for full-hd. when I started to record in 2k it was already beyond it's limit tho. even worse was the editing in 2k. my editing software stuttered like crazy and always crashed. so, I invested in the 3080 for the editing and it works very well with the game, too

they feel different, which I personally very much enjoy. cera is new and feels more fresh at the moment, but, other than that it doesn't feel more useful in my opinion.

I didn't fight much, so, I can't say much about it's nerfs, but, it didn't feel that different. it turns a little worse and the ram took slightly longer to get activated, but, didn't feel like a huge deal. at least for my skill level XD

this might work for you, but, that doesn't mean that is the rule for everyone. others, like myself, have a very different style and still enjoy the game. people are different and specially the isle has a very mixed playerbase. the hardcore fraction is just one part of it. probably not even the biggest part. so, in my opinion you can survive in many ways. yours is of course one of them. even a pretty legit one, but, still just one.

It's kinda the same, cera diet S has carno

Carnos were supposed to be only temporarily cannibals as for why Cera is not on their diet is bc, it's easy for carnos to group up and kill ceras, bc Cera was supposed to be a solo dino, hance why he is a cannibal but that's also a problem, bc Cera has carno on their diet, which on paper was fine bc they are scavengers, that's at least what they are supposed to be, bc that's what a scavenger does, a scavenger doesn't have room to pick and choose what they want to eat, which is also why they have almost every dino on their diet, but they can chase things and group up, which is a problem, bc they end up picking and choosing things, bc eventually with that big stam, they can catch something and bc of the large diet that they have, they legit can chase anything that they desire and kill anything so the real problem is in Cera, bc he isn't played as intended.

@@shaxo5364 Yep, pretty much it. Cera was said to be either a lazy hunter or a terrible hunter overall but currently its as good as carno id say which i dont like. I was exited for the defensive carnivore playstyle that doesn’t really hunt but mostly steals kills from other animals and scavange but now we got hunter nr.24543

Because carno being a cannibal made no sense and made it so carno could overpopulate

@@Excusatores a way it can be fixed is by only doing two things Reduce the stam pool, not by a large portion to the point where he is useless, bc in the future he's still suppose to be the only dino that can eat magyarosaurus, but just enough where he cannot chase things, which will force him to scavenge and kill it's own kind, which he already does regardless, so this way it will push people that want a hunting dinosaur away, leaving him at the hands of people like me or you who genuinely want to play a scavenger, this will also help with the many bodies all over the map, also clean the bodies that may stack at some point, thanks to carnos and omnis and he'd still solo be strong enough where u should think twice weather to attack him or leave him be, it will also stop this whole pointless beef between carnos and ceras only having them fight if either of them is genuinely starving and has no other option but to try Another problem is the insane massive groups, ceras don't need to get into groups, but just be around each other with like 8/9 ceras going all over the island destroying everything they see, it's way to insane and chaotic and leaves the Ceras community a bad taste in people's mouths, so I thought of a a system that helps ceras stay solo and not in groups, I call it stress meter, it works basically like this Two ceras meet and if they are around each other in a certain area, they start to stress, once they spend enough time around each other and they meters go to 100%, they get debuffs, similar to bad diets maybe not as bad but u get the point, afterwards they have two options, leave each other or fight to the death, now I can see how someone might think that this could be abused, but you gotta understand that a Cera can still kill two ceras if skilled enough, which means that those who die would be the unskilled ones and those who live, well they live bc they know what they are doing and no, the meters would not work on hatchlings or juvies, bc it makes no sense, imagine trying to raise ur young ones, once u nested and u can't even be around them at least while they are young, as for the nesting, Cera would still have a tough life nesting bc a male and female will get together, do that dance and the male has to leave for obvious reasons, now ofc to make up for it, females and males will get bonus stats with the female getting bit more than the male, bc she would be the one to do all that hard work of making the nest and raising the young fellas, until sub stage when they finally stress over each other and have to separate. Now with those changes, Cera will stay as a main scavenger on the hands of players that want to play that style of gameplay, while other people who want to play a hunting style carnivore don't have to be sad, bc with the upcomin dinos we get potentially 3 hunting dinos, mainly dilo, possible rex and maybe herra if it doesn't turn out to be scavenger aswell, but dilo would legit be perfect for people that wanna group up and have insane times hunting things, so in the end of the day, both parties are happy with what they have.

They didnt nerf deino, they didnt nerf, hypsi, ptera, dryo, pachy, omni so they didnt nerf everything + stego doesn’t need a nerf

as far as I know they only nerfed pachy with no more stun. omni even got a buff as far as I know. didn't play it by now tho, so, can't say for sure. personally I'm fine with stego. it will be easy prey for rex

@@da.mombie Yep which is something i greatly fear. Current stego stands no chance agains rex and needs buffs when it gets implemented

@@Excusatores I don't think it needs a buff. it just has to run and hopefully spot the rex before it is in sprinting distance. other than that you should be able to outrun rex. trike and above will be those who fight rex. stego is a mid tier and will fight allos and so on. but, these are just my thoughts. no facts at all

@@da.mombie Well will be really inpossible to both hide and run as a stego. Stego is a HUGE Billboard and as we saw rex’s trot was faster than a human sprint and stego can barely Keep up with a human. Stego Also isn’t a mid tier. Idk where this came from but its been said its an apex thats underpowered because of the roster it is in currently and we have seen it getting a new animation for a new attack against other apexes like acro, giga, spino and the rex himself. Just hope stego gets its weight too. 7-8 ton stego plz
