I was a teen jamming the Isley Brothers since the 70's & thru all adult hood. My favorite best group along with Chris Jasper there Cousin. 👑Rudolph Isley, Rest eternally in Peace with your brothers & our Lord Saviors. Family my heartfelt condolences, comfort & Prayers to all.⭐ 💯❤🙌🏼🕊️🌾🪴

The shade they’ve given Chris since the mid eighties is astounding...Dude was literally the man behind the sound with their successful run from “3+3” to “Between The Sheets...” Even Ernie shaded him with his speech lol.

The comment about "the guitar player that lived in our house" was in reference to the late Jimi Hendrix who was also inducted that night at the ceremony and was the guitarist for the Isley's in the early days.

Yes, Chris was, but Angela Winbush, who was once married to Ron Isley also helped with their sound and wrote songs for them too during that time,

Rudolph Isley should’ve been there to get his award. Just for ONE night it would’ve been nice if he would’ve showed up. He’s a founding member of the Isley brothers.

@@falanajerido875 Rudolph and O’Kelly wore hats. Ha. That’s like asking “which one had a beard”. They both had beards. Rudolph, in the 70s, was the tallest and biggest of them. If u mean him then yes.

chris'' , called out the right names 'that got them going ' but ernie' name everybody in the band but chris jasper' and he was the one who wrote 85% of the music back in the 70,S and then did all the music to isley, jasper isley songs'' and now he has a nice little solo career going on''

All Little Richard wanted people to do was give him the honor he was DUE. They were doing him no FAVORS by doing so & he wasn't asking for any. He'd EARNED it & he KNEW it. He'd worked so hard & never even received an award. And the truth is - had he not spoken up for himself EVERY chance he got, as a black gay man, they would've BURIED his legacy. This man was FEARLESS. A class act, an American treasure & an international icon.
