awesome! just got a 660 for my first quad lol. not up on that level, but i’m only 16, so i got a few years to get something nice! can’t imagine what a 700 is like. the 660 is pleasing already.
I have the same Quad, bought brand new within one hour of hard riding (after heat cycles) I ran into this issue. Yamaha fixed it, but was still a pain.
I have the 2020 maroon and grey special edition. I haven’t had any issues with it so far. Thanks for your videos man. I wish I had a mechanic near my location that is as knowledgeable about raptors as you are.
Yours is the 700R? Mine is the same thing as you described but it's a 700R special edition mine is a beast climbs almost everything and haven't had no problems
Yeah I got one of those 20/20 raptors I just bought a brand new and I like it and it's pretty popular up here in Montana I haven't rolled it yet I've been working all the time and I plan on since weather breaks here I'm going to take it out and see how she responds and I'm just very happy
2019 bought new, black and blue no problems so far other than fuse blowing for fuel pump every so often. Keep about 20 spares under the seat so never get stranded.
I bought the exact same quad but with a lot of mods. It had one previous owner with 8hrs on it. When I made the purchase I received a box with all of the original parts as well as the original plastics (mine currently has all black plastics that the original owner put on it). Now i’m curious if I need to check mine
How do you know without checking? I do have a funny noise. Sounds like I’m hearing the cam and lifters maybe? Been told it’s normal? What do you guys think? 2020 se
Quick question for you when I did my first oil change after breaking in about 10 hours or so it had gold flakes in it super tiny quite a bit is that normal
I have the all grey one with neon yellow 700 decals. I have a question I’m debating on getting a hmf comp exhaust and don’t know what would be better to use the EFI optimizer or the dynojet power commander ? Also I’m local here in SoCal but would like to know if you recommend and places that can do the dynotuning
the keyway itself is only used for location not for applied force with the tapered shaft in this application,. . basically everyone who has had them come loose after rebuild has said "i torqued them to spec"
Mr Cuervo, do you have a video talking about E85 for the Raptor 700s? I've been away from the ATV world for several years now and went over to the car world. E85 is big here and was wondering if ATVs have made the switch to this fuel? Less than $2 for a 105 octane equivalent fuel seems like a no brainer.
@@MrCuervoRacing so the ATV (at least raptors) world do run E85? What's needed to convert the Raptors to run full E85? I'm assuming larger injector, fuel pump, upgraded fuel lines and a new tune....
Hi Mr Cuervo, I need some help and advice on my 2021 raptor 700r. It's struggling to start, when it eventually starts it's not running correctly. It's stalls at first then after I start it up and ride it a bit its better but I can hear its not running good. I changed spark plug, checked to see if fuel pump is pumping and it is,before I go crazy dismantling it I just want some suggestions please what to check for.
So have the bike in let's say 1st gear and lock up the rear axle to remove nut. Then put the bike in reverse and lock axle then torque nut correct? Sorry for the noob question but I seen another comment of what else should be done.
@@MrCuervoRacing i tried with the bike in 1st gear to torque but had no luck. All I did was roll the motor over. The rear wheels did not move. Am I doing something wrong?
A good heads up with the 2020. 43 ft lbs with factory new threads might be enough seems a little light but that is one torque spec I put a little extra insurance on for sure. I don’t understand the engineers reasoning for so little torque on that nut either. As you wrench eventually threads degrade, stretch etc and it becomes more intuition and you get the feel where a torque wrench just isn’t needed as much and are used sparingly as a reference.
So i went to tighten the nut to torque and even with an alan wrench locking the chain in place when i go to tighten the nut my motor turns over ? Its a 2020 and I Cant understand whats going on here ? Help !
I got a question to anyone that is willing to help. I have a 2008 yamaha raptor 250 and Im looking for some good budget front shocks. Hope you guys can help with some websites or where to buy them. Thank you
Hey friend This is Winnie from Kemimoto. Would you like to make a review video about the Carbon Belt for Polaris sportsman? l have emailed u the details, please feel free to contact me.
Umm spray some brake cleaner on the nut guess wt it dissolves the Loctite..Loctite is to make sure nothing comes lose...never permanent 🤣🤣😂sheesh must not know mechanics 🤣🤣🗣️🙉🙊🤭🤔🗣️
