@@Sick_Pencil Yes, only idiots would pick a field in the early stages of a world growing ever more reliant technology that dumbasses can't use, ensuring guaranteed job prospects.
@@Sick_PencilIT used to be a pretty decent career choice if you were intelligent and wanted to be largely left to your own devices. It's a bit different nowadays, of course.
My local electronics shop had exactly that model of blinking LED. And a black plastic box. The build sits on my couch table, but none of my friends got the joke.
They must know that the elder of the internet wouldn't give it to you to place it on a couch table! No one will believe this is the internet when its supposed to be placed on top of big ben...
What I love about these moments is many of them are moments where he doesn't really say much, just a blank space where Richard can work and he excels in those moments
@@Absol-cy9gz I can't think of anything else who gets closer to being like an IRL Doctor without even trying. It seems like a very natural choice. He has this show where he travels with a guest and explores all the cool unfamiliar stuff with them. Sometimes he points out stuff in a very doctor-y way, just showing them around. I think he could carry a little drama and display gravitas if needed. It's not unheard of for that gap to be jumped surprisingly well by primarily comedic actors. He needs to be given a call and an audition at least.
Of course no one bothers to tell him how to leave the stand when he obviously doesn't know 😂😂😂 Moss is definitely my favorite character, so funny!!! Love this show ❤
I've never seen this show before, but I'm already hooked. It's wild to see people who are now big stars. There is no way in hell I could keep a straight face in this scene.
you lucky dog! I wish I could go back and see it for the first time. So sometimes I get drunk and watch it. I can't remember all the words that way so I don't ruin it for those watching. Richard Ayoede and Chris O'Dowd are amazing dou. and add jen and its the trifecta of menage toi...which just means to take care of yourself, so not exactly dirty unless you are about to watch the one with the musical "willies, willies, I like the Willies" dude, I wish I was there to see you enjoy it....
and had been brittish.....that one is the most important thing. Cause otherwise, he doesn't even look like his kids....so he wouldn't be a good stand in.
I used to say Moss and roy were the most iconic duo that English TV has ever produced. But then I realized, Roy is just the assistant. He sets up the funny bits and moss jumps right into it. Great Duo, but Richard Ayoede is someone I always want to meet and just hang out with. gotta practice my English mannerisms, IT crowd USA just didn't work, but if they had left most English humor in it would have been better.
Here’s what I think… Maurice Moss was born in 1973. His father was a football coach with a football voice, but then left his mother, because Moss hated football and he got on his nerves! He just gained an interest in computers because he saw a computer in a shop. But ever since he lived with his mum, she’s been treating him like a child, like Mrs. Wolowitz and Mrs. Skinner. He was friends with Newton and Roger in school and together they thought that their only goals to success was becoming total nerds!
It would be weird if you didn't....I am a straight male, but if Moss and Roy come a knocking. I will shut it off and walk away! but if its off, I will turn it on and WALK AWAY!
Random, but does anyone know where this is airing these days? (I'm in the US. I have a few streaming services, but canceled cable a couple of years ago because I'm not a multi-billionaire. )
Well crap! Can Jen be a man please? Her domineering delegation already states that she’s more manly than him, if we’re assigning gender roles anyway. So go on then Jen. Save him from the spider. 🤣🤣🤣
I find Silicon Valley rather unfunny. It’s a matter of personal preference. British humour is different from American humour. Maybe that’s why you don’t like it. I do agree I don’t like the laugh track but this is the only comedy where it is bareable as compared to friends or Big Bang theory, the laugh feel more deserved.
Oh, and the fact that Americans need laugh tracks to even get the jokes. Otherwise it goes straight over their head most of the time in a show like this
