Thank you Whitney for an awesome segment! You’ve inspired me to make a capsule wardrobe out of the book just like you did. Since I am home teaching virtually why not!
First, you look great in the turtleneck! Love your lipstick as well. I'm a retired R.N. in 2007 I stopped working in the hospital and took a job as A Quality Monitor of long term care facilities. I needed new clothes fast no scrubs! I went to an inexpensive store. I can't remember the name. Most every blouse that I bought was rayon. I have never dried the clothes. I hang them on a plastic clothes hanger. I still get compliments on those blouses. We have moved again , the 8th time since 2007. Finally I think we will be here a while. Yesterday my husband told me his shirt was 5 years old. I.told him I need a completely new wardrobe. My husband said your close look brand new why do you need new clothes? Why indeed😂. I very much enjoyed this series. Thank you for another awesome video group.
Yes, please! to seeing your Sew Beautiful pieces with your WFH capsules. You are so enthusiastic about your sewing, and so honest with your reviews/responses to what you sew; I have already let everyone and their mothers know that I would love Sew Beautiful for Christmas. And if I don't get gifted it, I'm definitely buying it myself. I can't wait to make the Fortuna joggers, the Palermo top AND dress, the Carlsbad Cardigan, and try out the Prague top (with the Orosi sleeve hack)! Thank you for this series!!
I love both tops-and the neckline is lovely!! The Plum/cocoa or raisin color is really nice, also!! Please send me the one you don't like as well-those are colors gravitate to!! :+) (I'm serious) Yes, let's all "Radiate"!! Have a great day!! :+)
Morning Whitney, I would love to see how you mix n match this Sew Beautiful collection. I like all the variations you made. It looks like you get a big bang for your buck. Have a great day thank you. Val ❤️🇨🇦🇬🇧
Very helpful review thanks. Particular thanks for the comment on your sizing - it would be great if all testers did this so one would know what adjustments one might need to make for each pattern. I think the garment would look a bit better on you if you'd done just a small fba, so when I get my hands on Kennis's wonderful book, I shall be fba-ing the tops a bit before even making a muslin.PS 100% agree about getting colours done!
Can you tell us where you purchased the fabric for the turtleneck you are wearing? I want that color and so does my daughter. We have the same palette as you.
Hi Whitney, you looked much slimmer in the chocolate top. Amazing the difference wearing the right colours makes. I’d love to see your mix and match of all the makes. I look forward to seeing them soon. 🇦🇺👵🏻
I enjoyed these last 8 videos. I like that you warmed them up for colder weather! I made my Orosi in a print to match my wild color Mountain View jeans, but I think I need to make one in a solid. You hit this one out of the park. Thanks for your videos!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the raisin Orosi top! The colour is perfect for you! I could see that top over your beige faux suede skirt you made last year with your oxblood boots!
Love this top on you, especially in the solid raisin color! I've been on the hunt for chic tops that will keep my neck warm, and this one certainly fits the bill!
