I could see your plum pants with a pair of chocolate brown booties and your chocolate brown collared shirt with a slouchy light weight pop over sweater in a lighter version of the chocolate maybe even into taupe! Or your just completed brick sweater with a rusty coloured loafer

The wide leg makes u look much more slender than the jogger pair of pants! I think I would like the wider leg as well.

Hello. :) For some reason I just can't get the waistband look right. They are always look wrong. I love how yours looks. Any chance you can do a small video how to create it? Especially with the cord you are using. Thank you

Love how versatile this pattern is! Also, I would love to hear your thoughts on the Monroe turtleneck. I'm debating between it and the TATB mock neck (the Freya dress I think?) but none of my go-to channels have covered it. I'm new to knits and I know Tilly has great instructions but... Free sounds good to me 😅

I have made both. The Freya is a fantastic pattern and is more fitted. The Monroe is pretty boxy. I love my version, but I had to do it in a drapey rayon rib knit. I think it would have been too boxy in anything with more body.

I love both versions on you! Unfortunately, the ponte was sold out,😕...but I tried with some ponte that I had and had very weird side seam draping/puckering issues. I think it may be the tension. What tension do you recommend for sewing drapey ponte with stretch? Thanks a bunch!

Are you sewing with a sewing machine or serger? I made mine with a serger, but if you’re using a sewing machine, I would play around with scraps with a narrow zig zag (like a 2.5 length and 1 width). Is your seam coming out wavy?

@@TomKatStitchery I used a sewing machine, regular straight stitch. Wow, never even occured to me to use the serger! The seam looked fine until i tried it on, then I saw that it was horribly wavy and puckering, not flowing and drapey like yours. I did take it apart, so I'll try the serger and see how it goes. Thanks so much, I have learned so much from you! :)
