“I am not afraid of an army of lions led by sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion.” - Alexander the Great I'm with you Eric "The gods favor the bold."
Wow! A summary of things that I've come to understand over the last twenty years without ever truly being able to see everything at once or put much of it into any kind of decent semblance of an argument. You are a true genius to be able to do that. Thank you.
People this is something someone from the community created from a clip in episode 8. it's all good fun, try seeing it that way :) (also check out The portal clips channel for more normal clips from the show, link in the description)
Does anybody else have to hit the rewind button several times before really wrapping your head around what he is saying? Eric you’re doing great continue.
I wish everyone was listening to Eric Weinstein during the "Isolation", "Lockdown", "National Quarantine" instead of the mind numbing ticktock attention traps.
I am, and will continue to be, eternally grateful for Eric’s incalculable intellect and ability, and courage, to educate the rest of us. Thank you Eric
Absolutely the right level to share and open up those of us with a shorter attention span. I've been addicted to Eric and his brother since I first came across him on the JRE. Been trying to get freinds into him too, But few of them have time for the long form. I was turned off from maths at a young age despite having some gifts for seeing the world through a different lens. Totally loving the shorter clips idea. In a series form that starts with the basics and paints the wider view as it hopefully progresses. This won't win all of the fans. It never could, nor should it try to.
Cool but I thought the animations were mainly to serve as visual aids for complex subject matter. For instance, that crazy ass fiber bundle in the background, now that’s what I’m talking about. Definitely save the effort for stuff like that 👍🏼
@@StephenPaulKing Eric is going rebuild the cathedral model but is going to miss the point because his blind spot for liberalism and democracy is what creates this "versions" ability to exist in the first place.
I am disappointed that the youtube url doesn't go anywhere. This podcast coming up under the search 'Mycophilia' is hilarious. Also I don't know how I feel about Eric being portrayed as an angsty humpy dumpty with no eyes...
It would be in the interest of this channel to do its own version of JRE Clips, and have these for every episode. It would attract many more followers.
They got the uniform right: black jacket and blue shirt. Every genius has a uniform, such as Zuckerberg, and Jobs. They wear the same clothes everyday in order to mitigate decision fatigue.
Easter egg up top. Simulating an epidemic.. Eric I asked Bret through super chat if infinity could go micro and he said no, there is an absolute 0. I’d love to know your thoughts. I feel like if there are strings then they’re made of other things.
Not even close to encapsulating the essence of Eric: Perhaps its a self portrait with Eric being The Jeantreprenuer? Anyhoo ;-) Over exaggeration of idiosyncrasies such as gestures and or eye movements are essential to Simulating oneself:
The weird thing is I am pretty sure that there is quite a bit of groth left it's just not in a way there comfortable with. Thing is it will happen on it's own if they do not take action. If that happens there is a chance of a runaway individual gaining alot of power. Not huge just there. Then there is ideas. I believe all ideas should be shown, but all ideas should be picked apart. Destroyed then reformed as many times as possible. If those can't be done then its probably true. You can have a cow that is Sacred. You can't have a cow that someone is going to try to devour and destroy. The trick is having cows you can't do that to. The thing is they just have a few cows surrounded by asses in a field that there trying to call a herd of cattle. The greatest men have always tried to eat that metaphorical cow they have created. The rest try to cast it in gold. Not realizing it was the cow not the form that was special.
I'm going to say something serious but it may at first seem innocuous, obvious, or non-serious. This method of storytelling: Audio with accompanying visuals (ideally AI-generated) will transform how humans create and consume content. This technology in its basic form transforms audio into a rich experience that reiterates the core message. Every spoken sentence gets accompanied by contextual emanata.
There is some really weird choices in this animation. Which need to be tweaked. Why include the RU-vid UI? Music choice in the intro and outro. Why put the extra visuals behind Eric? why not alongside.
@@Acoolakim007 They are. the views have an exponent in them, and the next number is way to large and seem to be a constant without the dot. the description is a weird illegible tweet he once put out. the videos seem to be ester eggs, and the search box, and the TOS logo on the side.
There is this concept in the japanese language that is translated to "dangerous ideas". I dont remember what its called in japanese. Socialism falls into this category of dangerous ideas. I am, however, not sure if this type of discourse on idea supression will lead anywhere. In order to say anything you need a language to say it. Some fields confuse their work in discovering reality for language games, but I dont think there is a way around it any more ... you would have to work for maybe 10 years inside the narrative while at the same time maintaining your own narrative and not go insane while doing it.
The growth didn't really vanish, certain people just would not be honest about or declassify zero point energy technology or quantum electrodynamic batteries PLEASE WATCH FREE ENERGY RACE TO ZERO POINT FOR DETAILS ALSO DR. STEVEN GREER.
Really appreciate the content but I think animating your person is only distracting. IMO the visuals should be only dealing with the content of your riff and ideally not consist solely of a google picture slide show. The idea of animated shorts is great though!
I think the animation is too timid and underutilized, it doesn't add to the message. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a good medium, just need to explore its strengths better than this.
