Bro weld a nut to the stud and take a wrench and extract it...hold the nut in place with vice grips or pliers and weld the inside of the nut to the broken stud.
Wipers don’t work anyways so no matter what he’s fucked when he hits mud 😂 he’s gonna have to do a Zip Ties and Bias Plies and put a rope around the wipers with bottles of water in the cab
@@mullittmustang256 I've had the most fun on the cheapest shittiest things. My mint 450r, blown engine this season hasn't went for a real ride all year.
make sure to use 4Low When your wheeling! You'll get more torque and be able to control the vehicle better at lower speeds! (looks like your missing the transfer case shifter)
If you mig a nut onto it there is no need to hear the bolt because the welder gets the bold super hot instead of getting the whole area hot with a torch usually breaks the rust seal better then quench it with some pb blaster
@@Acaidia be careful with that. If you quench the part that the bolt is going into. Depending on material, and thickness, it can be hardened, and made brittle.
'87 Jeep YJ was either a carburetor I-6 or a four banger. I was right, it was engine swapped so that 4.0 EFI engine and engine harness came from a Jeep XJ Cherokee. If you want a cleaner engine then call HESCO automotive to get a custom plug and play harness, or get an electrical wiring manual for an XJ and YJ from Chrysler and AMC and another XJ harness to create another harness; you can also join a Jeep forum. Also your front axle pumpkin probably needs oil.
Why you don't use a welder? Weld the random nut on there, and just wrench it out. Just random broken bolt. Why you guys mess with the shit like that :D Mechanics :D
Chase threads after you remove a junk bolt, take the 2 minutes, it's worth it. Broken bolt: weld a washer, then a nut onto it. Repeate a couple times, 5-10 in hard cases. Head the housing up and cool it down, expansion will loosen the threads/gunk.
I remember when Tommy had a tj and drove it up the loading dock and you were scared shitless. Chop shop days so awesome to see how far you guys have come.
Extractors usually work a lot better when you crank them counter clockwise. If Will rounded all those studs before he started using the tool right, he def made your lives 10x harder lol
I painted my truck with spray ton bed liner and it looks great. I think the Jeep would look great too! worse case with that rear axle is go to the junk yard and grab a used one to slap in. It's probably only $100 - $200.
Don’t underestimate the power of a little propane torch, vice grips and 2 nuts to remove broken studs. If you’re going to use extractors (they suck) get some carbide burrs so when they break you can remove them, bc as you found out even decent drill bits don’t touch them. I would weld a nut on the broken stud and let it cool then put a wrench on it to remove a broken stud before I use an extractor or try drilling it. Just sharing the knowledge, I’ve learned these things the hard way.
Use a small holesaw next time the size of the stud and those will be off in 15 minutes. Theyre commonly used for carpentry but the tile ones work in a pinch if the hardware store doesnt have a regularholesaw that size
You can take Ruddy outta the Haggard Garage but you can't take the Haggard out of ole Ruddy!! But I guess any Improvement on the Jeep is better than it was 🤣
Chris, not gonna lie. I was getting tired if your Florida content and was debating not watching you anymore. But you and daddy tom are made for each other. The Connecticut content is so much better. I wish you when best of luck.
Stone bags were really geeking over climbing a little pile of dirt 🤣 #Rudyspec let poppa Tom drive you in the Jeep so he can show you what a real hill climb is. Ogs will remember the Chop Shop days when Tommy climbed up a dock with his wrangler.
if you weld a nut onto the stud it is normally rather easy to remove. The heat from welding the nut to the stud heats the stud and then you can usually just remove with a socket/ratchet.
