Huh, so yeah, PhD stands for Doctor of Philosophy, which applies to various fields. You can be a Doctor of Philosophy of Philosophy, for example. Doctor originally meant teacher, as many of them become professor/researchers, and philosophy basically means learning. Doctors are required to conduct research and create an original thesis to contribute new knowledge to the world. Medical Doctors are actually at the Master's level, as they don't have to do research, although many do, and many go on to get PhDs. They often don't have time for that though, because pretty much their entire lives they're working through the levels of training. Apparently they fought for the term doctor because they felt their profession deserved more respect, even though back in the day they were probably closer to butchers than scientists. So jerma was actually correct. Go figure

Most of the good scary games are small indie projects on those .io sites. The ones with the free "choose to pay" download stuff. Some real gems there. But I agree that the mainstream stuff is kind of getting repetitive.

I like how every music track he puts on makes it a completely different game. talking about not raking your leaves with silent hill seems like the lawn is going to consume you for not taking care of it. talking about random shit while blowing leaves with hotline miami makes it seem like a ironic 90's sitcom season ending with the main character oversosing while doing lawnwork.

I hope Jerma streams himself playing MNOG someday, hopefully before Bionicle Mask of Light. MoL is... *not* the beginning of the story, despite being the first movie, while the Bionicle adventure game MNOG (a free Flash game that is available for download) IS the beginning of the story. Also it's just a really fucking good P&C adventure game, I love it

This channel’s uploads are starting to feel less like structured videos and more like formless long-edit stream highlights. Not inherently a bad thing but just sort of an odd direction to take I think, especially seeing as there are so many channels already doing that for Jerma’s streams lately. Not saying there aren’t exceptions, and I know I’m in the minority, but every other video being 30-50 minutes is getting a bit much for me personally.
@Sol Harv personally, i find the more tightly edited style of older Jerma videos more entertaining to watch, especially when i don’t have much time and just wanna watch a quick 10min video. Still, i think that longer stream highlights are also quite fun to watch (when i have time), so the editors should definitely experiment more with both types of edits. Also we need Jerm cat boy to play the Bionicle games yes
I really like the idea that the dev of a game Jerma is playing is so happy that Jerma is playing, goes to say hi on his stream, and is immediately met with a minute long brap and promptly leaves
@@Mr_Spaghetti i looked it up and apparently the guy who made the survey had about 2000 participants but decided to take the first 1985 participants because it was the funny jerma year; but yeah now that i think about it some of the info is pretty sus tho
