I may be a Pens fan, but I’ll admit the Flyers are really good at jersey design. Especially the Lindros era jerseys, that black jersey is so underrated.

shannon you need a can of orange crush. you missed it here with the flyers! flyers need to go back to late 80s/90s style. that was their best jersey style

I'm not a huge fan of the black third (but don't hate it), but the three sweaters of the 80s/Lindros era are easily Philly's best look and some of the most solid in the history of the league.

I’ll admit I’m biased as a Flyers fan, but I would say that they’re the most consistent franchise as far as good sweaters/jerseys go.

I think the best Philadelphia Flyers jersey era we're the 1980s and early 1990s with that orange jersey. The originals and currents now look sharp. Yes that 2010 Winter Classic looks sweet and that should be a third at least. Some blacks have worked but it's all about the orange crush with Philadelphia.

love the black thirds (that cause eye strain). In general, it's hard to wear so much orange without looking like a walking traffic cone.

Every time I see the Flyers logo it reminds me of 70’s hockey and the smell of rubber as you walk into the arena in the 70’s. I grew up being Flyers fan, so the logo is most likely the most iconic in sports. The logo is supposed to be a puck flying down the ice. It is subtle, but the part with the puck is supposed to be a P for Philadelphia.

Respect to the Flyers logo. As a Dutchman I love orange. I agree with some others in the comments who find some of their jerseys to be premium. The white nameplates are awesome.

my favorite flyers jersey would be the ones they used from 82-83 till 96--97. they made 3 cup finals thru that time. the whites were and are iconic imo. the ones they use right now (in 2021) are fantastic too. nice, classy 70's tribute done very well! the flyers should just stick with what they currently have forever, whites for the road and the orange at home. and throw in a third alternate from time to time. cheers from southern ontario 🍁

I’m an Avs fan. I don’t even think I really like the Flyers necessarily? But MAN that logo, those jerseys! I was really looking forward to this one. So worth the wait. The next three are pretty sick too. Love it.

I've been a Flyers fan for all of my almost 59 years and have exactly 1 jersey that I got in 1988. It's a Rick Tochett as an alternate captain.

Watching these jersey videos makes me want to add a couple to my tiny collection. A Jets #37 (Hellebuyck) home and a Canucks #6 (Boesser) or #40 (Petterson) away. Just their normal jerseys from the upcoming 2020/21 season, no 3rds or throwbacks.

70s jerseys wear same crests but they werent orange...look at 74 and 75 cup finals they more of a red and it was like they shaded it towards orange each yr and then one day around like 79 or 80 or 1981 they were like orange and it was like "hey i thought they were red? When did they get sooo orange! Lol

That 2012 winter classic jersey is nice, but I remember them wearing that thing A LOT. One of the great touches on that jersey is the keystone outline for the captains patches, but sadly you don’t have one of the captains. Seeing pictures of Giroux with the C in a keystone outline is sick.

He actually had the A for the winter classic, but since they used the jerseys afterward as a 3rd we got to see G with the C on it as well. On my winter classic I got in 2012 though, it’s got a nice apple. Hell of a throwback, I think G was only an alternate for 2 years or so.

The original Flyers jerseys are a burnt orange, no name plate and numbers on the back were like a lighter orange color. The early 2000s third jersey and 50th anniversary jersey are by far the worst in franchise history.

I have some Philly bias, but their current home/away set is hard to beat. I think the Chicago white and the Montreal red are untouchable. I have not been a fan of any black Flyers sweater. The largely orange and white layout of the current ones (with all orange and white socks) really makes the black pants, helmet, logo, and gloves stand out. Black jerseys ruin that for me. You have a great Philly collection, my man!

The new black thirds come together better with a number kit. The ones on the sleeves look sharp on top of the orange stripes. I Didnt like the newest stadiums until that amazing game, now i love them

Dale Demanchuk thought I found a decent deal on one for around 90 but the stitching is odd. And the b in Reebok is sketchy unlike in the pictures from the posting. Poshmark is sketchy

Even though I’m a Pens fan and hate nearly anything Flyers, I’ve always thought their jerseys have been pretty good. Although I remember one team we played pretty regularly growing up committed the sin of having the Robo-Pens style home sweater with the Flyers logo, and that is just a sin of the level of to cause the summoning Kthulu...

They originally didn’t have names on the back at all until the early 70’s they added names to the home (white)jerseys and then to the road(orange) jerseys in the late 70’s. The nameplates they have now are a throwback to what they used in the 1973-74 season.

I never liked that 2012 winter classic jersey. I hate the fake retro-ness of it. The Flyers already wear retro jerseys. The Flyers never had a jersey with that design and never had those shoe laces around the collar. It's not a bad jersey but it's not a Flyers jersey.

So I went to high school in PA with a lot of flyers fans and my high school colors were black and orange, and on top of that I live near their AHL team. I genuinely can’t stand the color combo 😂 it’s so gaudy and it hurts my eyes to look at on tv. In person they look just fine but on tv i genuinely feel like I need a new prescription for my glasses every time I see them
