So I am a follower of Jesus and find his teachings very helpful and believe He’s a healthy model to follow after. Having said that, if he was married, which he probably was. It doesn’t diminish anything about him or his teachings. I think Christian’s are afraid that this brings his divinity into question. He was a man that became awakened to the Christ in himself and showed us all what that looks like. I think it’s beautiful that he was or may have been married. Thanks for sharing!🙏🏻
They hate anything that humanizes him but he was human atleast half human he had a human mother well half human mother Mary was conceived the same way and a godly father a lot of people were half god half human in those days all we have to do is search find read and learn but religion stunts the brains ability to see seek and grow any further then what one is told by a pastor or priest😩🤦🏽♀️

@@andriesscheper2022 Asherah was eradicated from the Bible. Lilith, Adam's wife, was demonized. People focus on the enmity between Adam and the Snake, Esau and Jacob. To strike at the heel or head also means to admire. Gripping also means protecting. Adam admired the wisdom of the Snake (Morning Star). The Snake admired the protection of Adam. Esau is the anointed of Jacob. Save me, I pray, from the hand of my brother Esau! (Gen 32:12 NABO) Esau ran to meet him, embraced him, and flinging himself on his neck, kissed him as he wept. What is so strange about Jesus being married. Jews at that time were expected to be married and their mates were usually chosen for them at an early age. Children was considered a blessing from God. His followers called him Rabbi as such, Rabbis had to be married. His apostles were married also. Mary Madelaine went everywhere with him and the apostles and a single woman would not have been able to be in the presence of men unless she was married or chaperoned by a relative. If people say the Bible didn't mention it, it was because it was not a big deal and frankly not worthy of comment. If you study the scriptures about the Wedding of Canaan, there was much emphasis on Jesus and his mother making a big deal about not having wine for the guests and if this was a wedding for someone else (parents of another couple), why would guests be frantic that there was no wine. Only hosts would have cared.
Wow, you are really smart to put that together. Do you have any references, videos or websites you can go to to read about the lie we were taught? Thanks
Catherine Arrieta-Gonzalez I do not mean exactly the Catholic but the Body of Christ as preach by the apostles w/c is the spouse-Church. That is how I understand it ma'am
H1x2n 4 very much like the islamic religion where it is seen as a spiritual duty to get married and have children, otherwise you are not seen as being fully man and a true muslim. And single women have to be chaperoned by a relative
Wasn't Mary Magdalene assigned to embalm Yashua's body after he was crucified?? According to history, in those times, the WIFE was assigned the task of embalming her husband's body and if the wife was not alive, the task fell on the husband's mother. Virgin Mary was alive at the time of her son's death and she was not assigned the task of embalming the body so that is colossal proof that Mary Magdalene was Yashua's wife isn't it...
That's precisely the reason this is an issue, because they believe that he's God and not an actual human. Christian thought must reject the idea that the God incarnate had a carnal nature. It may also open the door to the idea that there had to be something divine about Mary.
I love Simcha's open, logical and sound thinking and I've been watching him and his video's for years, I've learned so much more about history because of him, but personally I don't like the zoom in and out for two reasons. The first reason being I'm trying to concentrate on what Simcha's saying so panning in and out is pulling the focus away and placing it on imagery, but most important is it makes this video seeming to have a "comical" theme which is exactly what Simcha's is trying to explain here, to take these amazing facts that he is bringing up seriously, to take note in thinking and understanding.
OMG had to comment on this as well! Been a fan since Naked Archeologist was on TV. Watch his documentaries religiously! But the camera work here was really awful with the zooming in for extreme close up then out then back in! So hard to watch and pay attention to what he was saying!
Omg!!😃 I found you!!! 🙌 I don't know why I didn't think to look here?!😏 Lol. The man who CHANGED MY LIFE!!☝️ Of course, you're on RU-vid!! Lol. To this day, I still own your book, and the documentary you did with Cameron! And to this day, I still can't talk about this with my family. In fact, I haven't talked about it (at all) since 2007!! Omg, I'm SO happy to have found you, Simcha!!! 😆🙌
***** I love Simcha because he is a courageous person who wants to uncover the true history of Jesus. And Jesus was a Rabbi himself, he comes from the Jewish religion. But he learned from Buddhist monks between 13 an 30 so his message was very new at that time for most people, that's why they assassinated him. But not on the cross.
What upsets me right now is I have lived 66 years and no one told me about Jesus being married to Mary Magdalen ...As a life long Christian who loves Jesus why was this kept from me? I love him and follow him and The Bible no matter what...

I too was bewildered, and upset about this many years ago. The truth is, the Church never wanted us to know. All this was kept OUT of the Cannon on purpose. It didn't fit the established doctrine of the Catholic church, nor most Protestants. Ever since Roman times. And this goes much farther than what you see here...
1. There have been pseudo gospels and forgeries for millennia. If He had been married or had an unlawful wife, the apostles would have written it. 2.) So what if he was married? Most rabbis were. But it would not be right knowing he would leave widow and children behind. He knew he would not live long. 3.) Simcha is an anti missionary and has made a living off of trying to undermine Yeshua as the messiah, and the NT. He’s not unbiased.
I agree he is interesting to listen to. But I think he has biases as we all do. He quickly accepts any ideas that goes against orthodox Christian thought and text. But as I said I enjoy listening to him, I just take his criticism of new testament authority with a grain of salt. Maybe several grains.
@@claudetteearle3052 Again I am not saying anything negative about the Jewish faith. But after three years of seminary and studying how the books that make up the New Testament was decided impresses me. Early Christian at one time before Rome accepts the faith it was punishable by death to be caught with any Christian writings. People were willing to die IF the text they had was from an apostle or was true. Just as Jews often protected their (and ours) scripture even risking their lives. My only council is to remind him there are two sides to these "findings" of his. Scholarly ones.
Cliff Mays I don’t think you were being negative at all, I just thought his ‘slightings’ about Christianity has some merit: the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition? Sure Christians have improved their treatment towards humanity but they weren’t always merciful and yes, the other side of the coin and at another time in history, is that some Christians were prepared to die for their faith; not just because of a book or Holy books, but because of their personal and near personal experiences of Jesus, the Christ. I get it but with so many contradictions to the faith, generally speaking, and with past beliefs resulting in historical actions that are synonymous with today’s Muslims who fight ‘Holy Wars’ (no war can be Holy) I think this man’s research findings might just have some merit. That’s what I mean.
Why would God have us do something that he would deny himself and well as his Son, we know that Jesus was a Rabbi, and its known that it was a requirement of Jewish Law to be a Rabbi, he had to be married.
@funkmasterjee Jesus was not married. That fact does not negate the heresy taught by Roman Catholicism, regarding their false priesthood of bachelors. The Bible commands church pastors to be the husband of one wife (1st Timothy 3, KJV).

Jesus, as a High Priest, is required by God's law to be married. "Christians" discount God's law and therefore have no knowledge of understanding many Biblical things. Thus, they have now moved to Paul's words as a foundation for their theology because the words of Christ have become too uncomfortable for them.

I "dought" he wrote that. Please be specific. Not sure that this is where you were going but, for the records, the true Hebrew Israelites are the NEGROES. Got it! Not the fake Jews as we know it today.
You are correct, Jesus was married to Mirayim Magdal, she was the disciple whom he loved, especially according to the gospel of Philip. Philip was Mirayim's brother. They also had at least two children, a son and maybe a daughter. Yes, I totally agree Empore Constantine and his mother did much to destroy the original Hebrew gospels and writings to promote their own version, which made Jesus more like Mytharus, the Roman god. Todah rabah for sharing this valuable information.
None of the New Testament writers mention Jesus having a wife. But, for some reason, people are eager to believe that he was married. Marriage is supported and promoted many times in the Bible, but no one ever gives Jesus's life as an example of how to be a husband or anything like that. And there are other reasons to suspect that Jesus was never married.
The thing about most Holy writings that we have today is that many humans have translated them over time. This means many imperfect humans have added to or taken away things from the Holy Texts. Also, languages have changed drastically since the first man and woman come to be on earth, so the ancient languages the oldest known Holy writings are recorded in have been lost. This has made it difficult to translating the Holy words into modern languages. Therefore, over the many translations of the Holy Writings many precious truths have been lost. But the most important thing is that if you are deeply connected with our Creator, He will let your spiritual eyes see the message in what we now today as the Bible.
The official narrative is that Jesus died on the cross; was resuscitated and then forty days later, levitated into the clouds where he disappeared without leaving a trace of his being here. The folklore tradition of Srinigar in the Kashmir, more or less corroborates that Jesus was exiled to India where he died of old age. It seems that the Council of Nicaea needed us to believe that Jesus died on the cross a mithraic sacrifice. Whereas Jesus taught us: "You reap what you have sown"- all actions have equal and opposite reactions- aka the Law of Karma. Simcha's evidence is so logical and compelling it cannot be easily dismissed, especially when the NT is critically examined forensically.
Faith = Non-Thought = the antithesis of the Why some god supposedly created you. So, your "faith" puts you in total opposition of what your own faith tells you to believe?? I do not think you understand what it is you believe...
Why was the Jewish temple destroyed? Was it because the Romans wanted to eradicate an existential threat? Or was it once again because God was displeased and punished his chosen again. Jesus came not to change but fulfill scripture. And it was and will be so, despite apparent opposition for gain. When the Messiah returns, all will bow. This is all that matters. May the Lord bless us and keep us all. AMEN.
thank you so much for revealing all in the scripture with evidence this is what am thinking before what happens to Jesus, love life coz in the bible that I was reading and thought by the catholic religion it was not mentioned.

I have watched all your NA episodes. I have done a lot of independent biblical and non biblical archaeological research for the past 20 years. I just want you to know I have a lot of respect for what you are doing. I don't agree with all of your theories but I respect your desire and need for the Truth and to expose the fraud, sleeper types, etc..that ruin real science due to politics and theology. We all deserve the Truth whether we like it or not but some people don't care about the truth and want to bury it. I consider myself a Truther and I believe Yeashua is who he said he is. I only seek truth even if it goes against what I want to believe. I wish everyone was this way. Please keep up the good work. Jesus being married wouldn't change a thing but you are wrong about wife only meaning wife in this context. The Hebrew word ishshah can mean women, adulteress, and female too. The Greek/Coptic word guné (which is what it was written in) can mean a woman, wife, my lady. I do not see where it can mean companion. Please enlighten me if you have time. I do not believe that papyri to be a forgery or not authentic at this time, but mistranslated and not complete enough for conclusiveness...yes.
The devil is a master deceiver (Jn 8:44), and it's amazing that the one who is deceived does not realized he has been deceived! They become his tools or angels of deception without their knowledge, because their heart are hardened to the truth or even to their conscience. If you believe in Jesus, you know the truth no matter what people say. If you don't, then you don't. God bless all who don't believe in your Son, Jesus.
I too agree with simcha that he has researched a lot on the subject and also comeup with new theories and evaluations of Christian belief. but alas most of them have been shot down, some have survived but are locked up in the Israeli museum of antiquity. he does pique up curiosity for those interested in learning the Truth and have open minds.
We Latter Day Saints have known, for quite some time, that Mary Magdalen was Jesus' wife and absolutely NOT the woman taken in adultery. She was from Magdala which was an Ephraimatic town and their marriage finally healed the rift between Ephraim and Judah. What's more, they did have children. It just gets better. It is the true story of the family of God.
As I understand it, at the time a pious Jew could be unmarried, but only for a short period of time which was typically about three years. They would deliberately set themselves aside for religious purposes, for deeper study and prayer. At the end of that time, they were required to marry. As I understand it, married men could also do the same, for the same short period of time. Apparently the members of the Qumran community may have done that as part of their observance. The idea that Jesus was married isn't particularly surprising--except to Christians, who think he was always celibate. But then, Catholic Christians think his mother was celibate, too, even though the New Testament clearly states that Jesus the firstborn son and had brothers and sisters, too. Anything to protect the dogma!
What is cute is (1) Jesus invites his first four apostles to a wedding, when can you invite people to somebody else’s wedding? (2) mum is in someone else’s kitchen fretting about we’re running out of wine and Jesus actually changes water into wine? Now why would Jesus’s mum be even in this kitchen in the first place? Why is any of it of concern to her? Why are the servants taking orders from some guest? Why did Jesus make water into wine? Now, if you look at other stuff, you have Mary of Bethany turned into Mary and Martha in an altered manuscript. (3) One woman or two, how is she having a dinner alone with a man she’s not married to? Of note, Mary of Bethany, renamed Mary Magdalene, is taking care of her sick brother, Simon the Lazar (leper). So we have a reason for why she is not wandering the countryside along with her husband. (4) in one of the Gnostic texts, sorry I forget which one, Peter bitches about Jesus giving private lessons to Mary alone and Jesus gives some weird answer about making Mary into a man. Within the text, Jesus is not talking about a physical change. He referring to a status change. (5) Jesus tells a parable about a bridegroom. And goes on about bridegrooms I think later. He doesn’t do a mom and kid routine or dad and kid routine, in fact this is the only time he talks about any kind of family arrangement.
I have followed this guy for YEARS!,..., but I never knew his fingernails were so clean!,..., I hope the next time his cameraperson starts shooting,.., they get a bathroom break before hand. I have to turn away and just listen,..., and no,..., I do not suffer from any epileptic seizure type illnesses! LOL! Still great info and his Season 2/episodes 18-19-20 on are MUST SEE!
If the Old Testament reveals the New Testament then where in the Old Testament does it talk about Jesus being married. His whole purpose in coming here was to die for our sins. Don’t u think that him getting married takes away from that
And the Puzzle is coming together. This is even Cooler, and of course the Church doesn't want it out. Like the Pharisees were more concern of Tithes not the Freedom Jesus was bringing. And He was hung on the Cross cz of Religion. It's Unfortunate how they have Kept stuff out or withheld it. Sad sad. I'm Thankful it's coming together
Oh my...Nag Hammadi was a burial site for worn out holy writings, mainstream or not, especially if there was Hebrew on it! The Way, as it was called, was Torah based!
P 72 contains 2 Peter 1:1 "Our GOD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST" was written 125-200 AD predating Council of Nicea 325 AD. Hmm Isaiah 53 predates Jesus.. Describing the Historical Jesus who was killed and despised by His own people..
Yeah that makes sense for Jesus living a usual man's life, wouldn't have liked a woman and married her, I emagine him having a family line, and this has always seemed logical to presume that might have been possible to have happened
As far as I am concerned, it was more so then, than as it is today...what observant Jew would trust in a Rabbi that isn't married?!? The Pharisees would have certainly used (jumped on) this obvious fault.
Unfortunately, a lot of people still stick to the mistake to perceive the Gospel as "the history of Jesus". The gospel is actually a particular book preached by Jesus. The contain is the good news about the upcoming kingdom of God.
This is why Revelation of Yeshua destroys the herecy of Jesus (Yeshua) being married to Mary Magdalene: "Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb" Wedding in Canna Galelee could have been an engagement party for Jesus, where Mary was bethroned to be His wife. The marriage supper is still in pending, therefore Jesus told Mary after His resurrection: "Touch me not, for I have not returned to the Father yet" Something to grasp here! For Yeshua came to die for our sins according to the Scripture, to be berried and raised in the third day, so that He would become the first born among many brothers! It seems like Mary Magdalene was a companion of Jesus as a bethroned a wife to be, same as Joseph was bethroned to Mary = Mother of Yeshua Ha'Nazarene. Mary was bethroned to Joseph, and according to the Law, they could not have sexual relationship before actual wedding rook place! I am the seeker of Truth and Scripture tells me, that marriage supper of my King and Adonai as forgiver of my sins is still a future event! The marriage supper of the Lamb would not be called marriage supper if Jesus was already married and had children! Period! End if Heresy!

The Bible says God was married , married to Israel as a People. God relates to Israel as Father, as Husband, and treats people as sons and daughters. The role Jesus played as High Priest to Yahweh , to stand in God's Place as a Divine Appearance of Yahweh, means Jesus was not married to another woman. Jesus , walking with God in Title and Authority, would be a husband to Israel and a father to the people, and thus be like God married to Israel, not to one material woman.
I've been a fan of Simcha for many years, enjoyed the documentary on Exodus that he did with James Cameron. It's good to see someone trying to reveal the truth about what everyone accepts as accurate. If Jesus was a man who stood up to the Romans, exposed the hypocrisy of the leaders of the Jews of his time and was executed as an innocent man, I can understand how a "religion" could have grown from his example. Religions get perverted by men. Look at our own time, with televangelists and others, claiming to be Christian, for profit!
The info is interesting...but the lady with the camera would need a chill-pill. Very bothersome how she zooms in & out and cuts out parts of Simcha. If she is antsy or bored, she could fix the camera on a tripod and go play some volleyball or something. Or maybe she could practise zooming in her spare time and not in live shooting. Sorry, it's really distracting and makes it hard to watch the video. Otherwise the info is laid out pretty logically.
Please do a series or video on the Valley of Death or I would love to see one on Sodom and Gomorah, so many are so ignorant of the facts behind the biblical stories. Explain the details and try to prove them.
I noticed that if there any question about the authority of the Tanakh you will defend its accuracy. But the new testament it is open season. I know you are Jewish which is fine, I am a Christian and I tend to see things differently. Heresy is not nonsense. The orthodox branch in the Jewish faith rejects noncanonical books as well. There was good reason why the books that were rejected by the early church were never included. If there was any doubt about the text, such as who wrote it, when was it written. There were many of such books that while popular were rejected. One had Peter and the sorcerer Simon,(same name as Peter) they were both flying around Rome in a contest. Fun to read but I do not believe it, nor did the early church fathers. So that book did not make. Another one has Jesus (Yeshua) as a small boy was made at other children so he turned their mud pies into birds and they flew off. Again a fun story but not a real account. The Jewish faith also have books of story of events that the Rabi's have rejected. Lilith Adam's first wife before Eve. Again an interesting story, but not true not part of the story of Genesis handed down by Moses. Please remember there is in fact good scholarly defense of the New Testament. Just as you will defend the Tanaka (which I too defend) the New Testament is considered authoritative by Christians who react as you would question about the Jewish cannon.

If at all he was married, it was someone of his class and stature, since his legitimacy was questionable then he couldn't have possibly been given anyone's legitimate daughter. Having been born of fornication he highly likely , if at all found another illegitimate someone.
The avatars come in threes. You had Aaron, Moses & Miriam. You had John the Baptist, Jesus & Mara. You have three living among us who will rebuild the world. Tragically, they tend to show up with a Dark Lord. Cain hid the Sun. Moses faced Ramses. John and Jesus were nearly snuffed out by Herod. Our world is about to change. Worse before better!
I didnt believe it either until the past 10 years, I called people blasphemers for saying that Jesus had a wife. I just believed my church. But not anymore. I now believe Jesus had a seedline. I believe the seed of the woman is Jesus seedline. Jesus was 100 percent man while on this earth. and now I know why they hid his life from the age 12 to 30. Its because he had a wife and 2 kids. I have been researching this for over 8 years now. I am convinced 100 percent Jesus had a wife and at least 2 children.
Jesus as a Jew would of had his Bar Mitzvah, gone through all the things a normal man would of such as marriage and children. To say he was celibate and did not breed is ridiculous. Even the Bible says go forth and multiply. We all know Mary his mother wasn't a virgin as she had several children. Jesus was married, whether it be with Magdalene or another woman he married. The Bible Christians follow today has been written to suit man's ideals to suit the greed of those in the church. Many gospels were left out to hide the duties and responsibilities left to women. That is my belief and nothing will change my mind on that. Proof will be found one day to show who exactly was prominent in the early church and I guarantee Mary Magdalene and Jesus brother James are top of that list!
@@mrssmith3872 That is CORRECT!! 👍 James was head of the early church (in Jerusalem) for 50 years after Jesus died. Requested by Jesus, himself!☝️ Peter had Rome, eventually. And Mary Magdalene (Mariamne/Mara)🌹 was essentially head of the church in parts of Southern France, where she resided, after his death. And yes, with at least one child. Maybe 2(?)
