I remember when people boo'ed DC when he called Jones a crackhead and they cheered Jones when he said he did a weekend of blow. Little did they know, they weren't cheering for a character but for a pos excuse of a human. At this point, it may be best for his family to start thinking of walking away.
It made me happy that the people around him are no longer putting up with his bullshit, even though it sucks they have to be driven to that point. The best thing that can happen for that family is for Jones to fυcκ up so badly that he's no longer allowed around them.
I absolutely love how Chael can do a 20 minute long talk on a subject with zero cuts. This man was made for doing this, and I hope he continues to do so.
but he spits facts lmao! its crazy! i feel like hes always the first one to know about all fighters and the drama attached! i feel like he finds things out sooner than the ufc itself lmao gotta love this guy though.
When Jones was on Rogan a few years back talking about his hit and run incident he said "he was so scared when he found out she was pregnant but it was a huge relief to find out that the baby was going to be ok" but instead of finishing his sentence there he went on to say something to the effect of "because if the baby had died I'd be in jail and that would suck for me, plus in the end it worked out for them both because they got a nice pay day". That was the moment I knew Jones was a narcissistic sociopath, and every interaction I have seen of his since has done nothing to dispel, only reinforce that opinion.
But the baby was okay and she did get a nice pay day, and jail would have sucked for him, nothing factually incorrect there. When someone crashed into me I got a nice pay out, best thing that happened to me
@@walkingonsunshine1568 Right, but if the person who hit you said "I was so worried walkingonsunshine was dead, because if they he had died I'd be in jail and that would suck for me" that would make the other driver a maniac. We aren't talking about what happened, we're talking about the mental state of JJ.
@@walkingonsunshine1568 Your missing the point mate, having a serious car crash and hitting a pregnant women, you should only be worried about the health of that child and mother
@@uncouthboy8028 well I mean they couldn’t tell I wasn’t a pregnant female when they hit me, In fact I was driving a fairly girly car, who knows what the guy was thinking
I don’t need to hear his side. Your daughter having to ask a stranger to call the police on YOU, her father, the man who’s supposed to be her protector is all I need to know.
In the words of Brendan Schaub, 100%. Honestly it annoys me how even after the first two issues people were booing DC in favor of Jon. Name one other person DC hates besides Jon Jones. DC is not a hateful human at all, so if he hates you, you're probably a piece of garbage.
The fact that she went to get the room key changed is the part that scares me. It isn’t her fault but she seems incapable of understanding how to manage a drunk angry d***head. Somebody in that scenario will escalate when the door is locked and lose even more control. You gotta get distance from people in that state. Wait for them to sleep it off and call the divorce lawyer in the morning.
Except O.J had an exemplary career and was a beloved personality for years after he retired. Jon couldn’t go any significant amount of time without getting trouble. They aren’t really comparable at all. I mean, they both got in legal trouble, but that applies to so many different athletes that you could compare any of them to each other for that.
Plenty of people go to Vegas & don't beat their wives bloody. Plenty of men take their families to Vegas without making their families terrified of them. This isn't a Vegas problem, it's a Jon Jones problem. Stop regurgitating whatever bs Dana says.
Chael is in an interesting lane. No notes, no sidekick, soundboard. Just him and a chair speaking facts. We need more of his type in media of alllll places!!
"I see holes in his domestic violence game, I mean the cops got called, his daughter seen the whole thing, he only got in a hair pull, a real pro is in and out, no one knows, no one sees and the bitch is too scared to ever call the cops. Some real holes in his game there" - Kevin Lee.
Who put him down? He must take responsibility for his actions. He's the one who put himself down and suck persons deserve no pity. When you use your own hands to kill yourself, what do you expect. At his age and the money he's got he's busy behaving like an ass so much your own child is calling the cops? Please.
Man, I bet his wife has feared for her life for a long time that if she dared to say she wants out he would do something to her. Hopefully she can get out of that relationship immediately. That dude is a full blown sociopath.
That's his business. It's not your responsibility to look out for his wife. If she wants to put herself and her kids in a dangerous situation, she's a grown adult and that's what she decides to do
His fiance trying to cover for him while she's literally bleeding from her face is disturbing. That family has prob seen some real scary moments behind closed doors.
Probably a major case of Battered wife syndrome, I 100% believe this has been going on for years especially seeing her response to the Police. Horrifying situation, wishing her and her kids the best. Hope they can escape this nightmare without having lasting psychological trauma.
As A.J. pointed out above me, Jon's fiancee has a variation of Stockholm Syndrome...only difference is Jon didn't physically kidnap her & force her to be w/ him...but the psychological effects/abuse result in same manifestation of the victim wanting to be w/ the perpatrator/abuser...sad shit.
Chael: You do not kick a man when he’s down Chael two minutes later: And he gets inducted into the HOF for almost losing to Gustafson Please never change 🤣
Truth and Common Sense from Oregon ! You are a welcome addition to the public square Chael. Thank you for your great contributions to setting the record straight !
Wow, this has got to be one of the most intense explanation of a very sad event in the UFC. Chael, I salute you in how you explained this. Your presentation was incredible. How you became familiar with all of this information and had this recorded in such a short period of time made my mouth drop! Once you started talking I just could not turn away. You could have been a lawyer. Sir you are so damn eloquent. I don't think that there are that many people out there that can hold a candle to you under similar circumstances. Mr. Sonnen, I am in total awe of you! Thank you Sir!
Great line, but i think it was because the fight was so good, do you know if gustaufson also got in the hall of fame for the fight? If not then, the line is even better.
@@EventualWarlord I would assume he was but he didn’t go for some reason. If i had to guess it was probably troubles trying to get flights out of Sweden. But if you’re interested Guss did make a video from wherever he was of his acceptance speech.
Well put Chael. You broke it down perfectly and showed an even better long term punishment for Jon Jones. I haven't heard any of this until your video. Really well thought out and put together. Keep up the good work.
*"When a man is down, you don't take a shot at him."* When a man beats his wife bloody to the point that his own daughter is begging strangers to call the police, you stomp the man's head in until you're sure he won't be getting up again.
@666.SleeperCell Battered spouses/gfs/bfs often lie or cover up for their abusers. It's the psychology of abuse & fear. Multiple witnesses including the cops say she was bleeding from her nose & mouth with a swollen lip.
@666.SleeperCell she was clearly lying since she had blood all over her. Its pretty common for domestic violence victims to lie about what happened, since they are afraid of the perpetrator or don't want to get them in trouble.
Thanks for the great description, I'm from Brasil and I was having problems reading the articles,, the expression "hit and temper with (the vehicle)" so far I hadn't undestood that him headbutted the car, now I gotta it. Also I liked you pointed his narcissistic side. Great appreciation for this video
Y'all see Bones' IG post? Dude literally tryna spin beating his fiancee in front of their kids into "the best day of his life." Everything is about him. What a pathetic, weak, insecure man.
Good thing this was his 11th, hopefully he goes to prison this time. It's crazy they let him get away with driving around high and drunk shooting at hobos last year
Uncle Chael: There was a mannequin- this is a true story, there was a mannequin in the window and Jon Jones tried to hand it a stack of cash while patting it on the ass, he thought it was a stripper, this really happened.
I still see people defending Jon "give him a second chance.. everybody makes mistake" Dude has had 10 chances now, and he's a scumbag of a human being. I was a huge Jon Jones fan back in 2010-2015
Let's hear jones point of view first. Everyone deserves that. But you all skipped the part that chael says "don't hit a man when he's down". Like we all are saints. And who can say how many chances someone deserves? I'd like to hear or see that fiance for once, what the hell she'd be doing ten years now with Jon. But you guys beat Dana down too, like you think a businessman would throw millions away over our opinion. Just fucking grow up people!!
I loved Chael as a fighter, I could see the high level of intelligence in him during prefight banter and into his cage matches but his commentary truly demonstrates his powers of observation, eloquence and an awesome perspective. Plus he's just damn fun to listen to!
I’m only 5 minutes into the video and jokes aside, I love Chael man. He’s talking about this shit like a pro and I’m just hearing this disturbed out my mind.
To answer the question about the body cam footage leaks, it depends on the state! Some states are very transparent, like in ohio the footage becomes part of the public domain for everyone to review, in other states it is very restrictive and you need to jump through some bureaucracy hoops in order to just have a peek at the footage. It also depends what the rules are in the states with active investigations etc. :-)
I still remember when Joe Rogan asked him what he was thinking when he found out the woman he hit was pregnant. He said something like, “My life is over.” Not one thought for her. That’s a sociopath.
It's a fair thought in this fucked up system. An actual accident can end your life. People like you all love to hit other people with life sentences while pretending you care about another life. It's comical. You pick and choose which lives matter. You're all sociopaths in that regard.
In situations like this, I think it’s okay to kick a man while he’s down… like repeatedly. Still, I admire your code Chael and your commitment to your principles
It will never be forgotten how Chael fucked up Jons toe without even touching it. That was some real ninja shit. Clearly a badass move he learned on the mean streets of West Linn/Oregon.
Domestic abuse is something I can never forgive. Especially if you are as physically gifted as Jon Jones. I believe in innocent until proven guilty, but if this is true, then damn right I want punishment.
@@Odysseus1999 I'm afraid I agree with Chael. Keep him on the UFC and freeze him. Keep him but don't let him fight, keep stationary, unable to move on.
You know we have to be careful when we pass extreme judgements like this on people. I'm all for people being punished or reaping what we sow but when we say we'll never forgive or imply a person shouldn't be forgiven that's a bit hypocritical. I'm sure we've all done things unforgivable in others eyes or heck our own eyes if we dig deep enough and look objectively. Just saying maybe you cheated on a significant other, lied, etc. We just gotta be ready to face the same harsh penalty we want for others.
Chael in the context of your point 100%. You’re right about the “let’s see the outcome.” Before coming to a decision conversation. Moving the conversation from innocent until proven guilty and you agree that this doesn’t look good. And yes this is all the way around sad.
I was one of those that felt the need to lean on Dana on this one, and after this feedback I feel like Chael is right. I reverse my position. Probably best to just let the situation breath for awhile.
I remember my jaw dropped when Joe asked Jon on JRE what he thought when he realized he had crashed into a pregnant woman with his car, and Jon, sounding very somber and serious said something along the lines of "I thought this can end my career". Like damn dude for real? Does other people even exist in that man's world?
@@StoneMason103 Not caring for the unborn baby he could have killed? Now it looks like nothing, but you do that to my wife, Jon Jones or not, you end up as sausages and fed to my dogs, Bones are for desert. Am I a psychopath, don't know, but it is what it is, 2 can play the not giving a shit game.
Should be interesting to see what happens. Sadly some fighters just don’t keep It in the ring. Any connections to agencies like Nike will quickly drop him or any other athlete for certain infractions..
It's good that someone can speak concisely, accurately and objectively on .atters such as these........... But at some point you have to cut someone from your business when a limit is drawn. How many times does JJ have to do these things before anything is done about it.
That’s funny but very, VERY sad at the same time. God bless Jon and his family. He needs all the help he can get from everyone he can get it from. Even his fans. Even UFC viewers. That particular problem could happen to ANY of us, afterall.
boofman 0 - you’ve never made a mistake, huh? Ever been out with friends, maybe drinking a bit, having a good time? Ever smoked a little weed? Or taken a pill? Or anything else?
3:20 When she left Jon was still in the room. I think she wanted to get a new room separate from Jon. Hotels will usually give everyone in the room their own key so cancelling one card won't cancel everyone's
@@bigbastard_lol when you have a kid you'll understand the sentiment, his heart isnt actually broken, it's a saying that's relevant here even if it is a hyperbole because a daughter should never be so afraid of her dad that she asks for the police to be called!! It's disgusting, and guess what, also heartbreaking - and 'Chael's fake emotion'seemed very authentic to me, and as a dad I dont see why it isnt. Unless you do have kids and just dont have any sympathy, which is very worrying for your children... especially to have a dad who's pathetic enough to start calling someone names because they have empathy/sympathy and aren't heartless.... and incase you dont understand hyperbole here either, I'm not saying your anatomy doesnt contain a heart, just that you arent the best of human beings thats for sure.
Chael is a world class ball buster but at the end of the day, good guy. Great coach. Motivator. And when not promoting something, he has absolutely clear rational and very reasonable thoughts on stuff. That said, when he’s promoting himself, all bets are off. Lol
@@JamesSmith-cm7sg to your point that's why i put it like this "it has to mean SOMETHING" right? what does it mean - i hope we will find out. Meanwhile one thing is for sure - it looks really bad.
