smaller than node 804? 12 bays is tempting, since i can fit only 9 in my node 804 due to sata pcie controller making the 10th hdd slot practically inaccessible. for now ive added a qnap tr004 and that gives me 13 drives total, which is just onemore than n5. with n5 and tr004 i could have 16 drives, which is becoming scary, but theres nothing i or anyone else can do when 16tb red pros are now best bang for the buck and i simply cant afford upgrading from 16tb to say 20 or 22tb, too much moneys just to gain a few extra tb. hopefully n5 wont cost an arm and a kidney… although, tr004 did cost me around 200$ to begin with. which is pricey now that i think about it lol. thanks for reading my blog.

More disk bays, space por full size cards and more pci-e slots, air flow from front to back, allow larger CPU coolers. I think is the best tha i see from Jonsbo

Those dots on the front plate , are those status leds for the drives ? Also , can you confirm that it take regular ATX PSUs ? being able to take regular sized PSUs might offset a higher price, because you could save a bit on the PSU , compared to SFX PSUs

Wish these company would start making rack mount cases. Lots of consumers are moving to racks and most diy rack cases are JUNK. There's def a market there to capitalize on.

Come on... I JUST upgraded to n3 from an n1, as n4 was too small. I spent months looking for a 12 hdd case. Got a hba with 8i8e and made an external enclosure for the extra drives. Two weeks later, they release an n5.

They haven't even put it in the website and the the Jonsbo representative said it is still under review, but looking at "a few months". Which is remarkably vague, just something at least.
