It is sad that Mid fielders never get the praise and credit as strikers. Yet they are the brains and creators of the game. To me, Rose Lavelle has been on the top of US performers for the 2019 World Cup. She is a pleasure to watch. What heart! What ability!

When all the offensive veterans retire (Rapinoe, Lloyd and Morgan) I have a good feeling that Rose, Press, Ertz, and Pugh will take over.

She is Frenkie De Jong. Can dribble out of tight spaces, high workrates, quick distributor of the ball. The sky is the limit for her.

She's my favorite USNWT player. Reminds me of the great middle fielders - great mobility, skill of ball controlling and understanding of the game... the only thing I'd correct is for her to make her runs longer, hold on to the ball longer until her open space closes down and not to look for a pass so soon... Sort of what she did in scoring the US second goal in the final....

I was mightily impressed by Rose's performance against England.

All time my favorite player! Lavelle has a bright future! I’m glad to say I try to model my game after her.

I have to confess, I didn't know very many of the players on the uswnt until their wc game with Sweden. Lavelle stood out immediately for me. Her confidence under pressure, how relaxed she was with the ball in the open spaces, passes were crisp and precise, her shots on goal were rockets off her foot, and you knew she was going to win any 1:1 with the opposing team. I was hooked and knew she would be a star of this wc. I can't wait to watch her in the future!

Rose by any name is still rose. She is one of the most accurate goal-makers on the team. she's smart. I recognize her signature pink headband. Then I know we're going to win another game. She's typical of a skilled and smart player great on the field and quiet off the field. Speaks volumes when the ball is in play. Another of my favorite player.

When you had all that space and pushed forward I just knew something was going to happen... You clinched that game and your reaction was such pure joy... Rose is my favourite female player and I'm not American. She has to be one of the best midfielders in the world if not the best. She is an amazing player and athlete. A big reason for this is because she has a great physique - lean and athletic. I think Rose is the prototype of the future female player. I predict that as the women's game becomes more professional more players like her will rise to the top due to the need for greater athleticism. In this respect they will begin to mirror the men more. Also Rose is gracious in victory unlike some of her team mates whose conduct is very unsavoury (just my opinion). Stay humble Rose, you are going to be a superstar.
