It's actually crazy how the first time we heard the titan themes, we thought it was so much different from what we heard prior. And now after nearly a year, we have gotten used to them and STILL cherish all of them.
That's because it was different than what we heard, Crush 40 isn't a metal band it's a rock band. In fact stuff prior to the meta era was either different genres of rock, electronic music or Drum n bass. Also the reason why we loved it was because Sonic's sound track was nothing but orchestra, synth or chiptune music for the past ten years and we missed the rock music.
I swear man this game did justice to Super Sonic more than any other game in this franchise. The fights were fucking raw and cinematic while also being hella fun to play and ooooo Super Sonic 2 went CRAZY. I just am so excited to see where they can improve next game.
"Is that not the fucking rawest fight ever in a Sonic game?!" Little did Fadel know at the time that Giganto only scratched the surface of what was yet to come.
10 years ago when i was Learning English i opened the Dictionary and went to the Word "Peak" It showed a Picture of a Purple Moon with a Monster attached to it At first i was so confused but after playing this DLC i realized they had a Pic of Sonic Frontiers there 10 years ago The definition of "peak" was already pre determined 10 years ago thats wild
@@GamesCageagree with that guy! I always watch you when I want someone to be as hyped as I am for Sonic! Loved your play through and reactions dude! (^ ^) WE DID IT!!!
Literally the best Super Sonic Boss Battles since the Dark Gia Boss, I remember first encountering Giganto for the first time and wondered what the gameplay was going to be like and then my Jaw hit the floor. Frontiers really shows how powerful and peak Super Sonic can really be Especially Cyber Super Sonic, Supreme/The End Boss is 100% the best Boss in the Franchise and no one can convince me otherwise. The theme songs along with the boss battles is exactly how you hype up a Sonic fanbase and can't wait for more of these in future games
They HAVE to do bosses of this caliber for future games now, it is the BAR. Super Sonic has never felt COOLER MAN. Bro got a whole damn dbz transformation cutscene against supreme/the end like WHAT THE HELL god update 3's jank aside the whole game still made me feel like i was a kid again with how much i enjoyed it
One thing's for sure, the current DLC for Frontiers shows that they know DAMN WELL HOW TO MAKE HYPE SCENES DON'T YOU TRICK US WITH YOUR SONIC FORCES LOOKIN' AHH CUTSCENES YOU CAN *GO FURTHER BEYOND* THAN *THAT!!!*
Crazy to think how long it’s been and how much has happened… I don’t think any of us anticipated being where we are back in the drought from 2017-2020/1ish. Finally, after all this time, we won. And we’ve had the game for almost a year and its impact is STILL so felt in the community. Just so wonderful to see. For the first time in a long time, the future is bright!!💙
Easily some of the best moments in Sonic history! But first impressions are everything, and the spectical of Giganto's cutscene and fight took the cake for me, until Update 3's final boss. But the Giganto fight's into cutscene still hits me like a truck re-watching it, and it's still very entertaining watching other people's reactions to it! This game's bosses are going to be memorable for me, forever. The follow-up to Sonic Frontiers has a lot to live up to, but I trust that Sonic Team can do it!
Giganto is the perfect *introductory* Titan. Sets the mood and scale of each Titan fight from here on out perfectly, and helps the game leave a lasting first impression. Wyvern is an amazing Titan for *spectacle.* Sure the other fights do have amazing moments to them, but chasing Wyvern around the _whole_ of Ares Island, kicking the missiles back, and the fight's ending? It's superb from start to finish. Knight, I feel, is a great fight that shows you've progressed in the game. The fight has movement like Giganto and the parry gameplay of Wyvern with its own spin on it, making it really feel connected to the last two fights and that you have overcome two Titan fights before Knight. And then Supreme/The End is a perfect *finale.* The climactic final showdown where Sonic stands as the final hope for everything, ready to use his everything to save it, and the mood is matched amazingly. God I love this game man; jank aside we really did win with Frontiers 💙
I'm so glad this was my first sonic hype cycle and I'm so thankful that you got me into sonic in the first place. I never thought sonic would ever become one of the most important series for me. Even though this game has many many problems, yes even update 3 and it's final boss, the ideas shown in this game are crazy With the next game having a bigger budget, i can not conceive what we're in for next.
No lie I went back to your original VOD the day you beat update 3 just to reminisce on how it was watching your reaction and thinking about my own reaction: god what a time. So freaking hype
The way they describe the trials bring out Sonic's true power gives me hope super sonic 2 comes back one day. " Sorry Master King looks like I'm doing all after all" HE'S SO RAW!
If it gives you more hope, then If it gives you more hope, then I have a logical explanation for why the game calls this the Super Sonic's true power. The fact is that all the technology of the Ancients was created specifically for the use of the Chaos Emeralds, and Tails notes that even Cyberspace goes into standby mode without their energy. Also, after the cyber corruption, Sonic is stuck between dimensions, that is, between the real world and Cyberspace, while Titans can move freely between them without cyber portals. All of this indicates that the cyber energy also comes from the Chaos Emeralds, so perhaps Sonic may learn to reproduce this energy himself in the future.
I want someone to show Kellin whether it’d be at a sleeping with sirens show or something your reaction screaming “KELLIN QUINN IM HERE!” I’m sure he’d love it 😂. THANKS FOR BEING THE OFFICIAL HYPE GUY FOR THIS GAME 😭💙
3 things: 1. It's hilarious comparing his reactions to Supreme and the original End to the rest of the battles, and it's not even like he wasn't hyped during them. 2. As hype as the new End fight is, there are elements of the original fight I'm sad to lose, namely I'm With You instrumental and The End's monologue. The atmosphere built during that battle was top notch. It just needed more creative gameplay than a reskinned hacking minigame and more involvment from Super Sonic. It reminds me of the Dark Gaia situation where the 360 version has better cinematics and the Wii version has better gameplay, and combining the strengths of both would've made one of if not the best boss in the series. 3. Ok, they've had 3 whole updates now. WHY DO SUPREME'S WINGS STILL NOT SHOW UP!?!?!?!
Supreme’s wings are just straight up not modelled for some reason. As in there’s apparently just no model for them in the files for the game. They’d need to completely change entire lines of code related to that fight for them to appear correctly.
@@CursedGioGio I'm starting to think the intention was just for the wings to be a cool effect symbolizing Supreme's flight before disappearing, in which case they should've conveyed that better in the cutscene. To be fair these massive angelic wings on Supreme's first phase would make the second phase look pretty lame in comparison. 😂
If there's one thing Sonic games have always excelled at, it's spectacle. And while I did like the original ending, the new one took the spectacle and went EVEN FURTHER BEYOND.
This is the first sonic game I can call "Super Sonic's game" because no other game has done Super Sonic, or treated super forms in general this good, both from a story, gameplay, and cinematic standpoint.
Truly, thank you, Fadel, for this awesome journey through the last 2 years. Truly, the most raw and peak moments I have ever witnessed in video games. You would always restore my hope for frontiers when I thought it would be a terrible game.
To think, Sonic Frontiers became real since last year. We have certainly come a loooooong way. (Also I'm assuming the anniversary for Sonic Frontiers is happening in either November or December, the fucking Game Awards needs to recount their votes, we KNOW Sonic Frontiers deserves to win, and if it doesn't get the GOTY award, the least it can do is win Best Soundtrack. I'M CALLING IT.)
Sonic frontiers really is special to me. I've met new friends because of it, got into animation because of how cool sonic's attacks looked, etc. I haven't felt this bad about a game ending since smash ultimate. Seeing the journey end after so much time following it will be sad, but also seeing sega improve constantly makes me confidant about the next title.
Frontier Really Did Sweep From the lows they had to losing at players choice but even then they still kept going ACROSS THESE NEW FRONTIERS, i at least hope Supersonic 2 isnt another one off or at least they bring it back in some way or form
When i tell you on friday 29th of september when i first played the final horizen story blind AND I GOT TO THE TRUE END FINAL BOSS I WAS SCREAMING THE ENTIRE TIME 🤯🤯🤯
Literally crying seeing your joy to all the titans and then seeing your reaction to the new Supreme is just so great to see. You started the hype train and believed in Sonic Team all this time, and now we’re here and I couldn’t be happier.
Sonic Frontiers is what most franchise NEED, a game that shows it's PEAK!! Peak Super Sonic, Peak base Sonic, Peak Tails and Amy (Knuckles exists), the hardest difficulty the games EVER had in some parts, new mechanics that can lead the way into the future, brought back mechanics from EVERY prior Modern Sonic game ever, AND MORE!!! Sonic Frontiers is the reason why we love Sonic, and while topping that feels impossible NOW, just will all the Cyberspace stages we got in the DLC, I don't doubt the future games are gonna be even BETTER
Frontiers really was the mainline title the franchise needed after all the mediocrity we had to put up with in the 2010s. Not only did we have a game that actually took itself seriously again, but one that fully brought back Super Sonic and gave him justice in terms of how badass he is. All the characters actually got development again and the gameplay isn’t an automated cinematic that plays itself 70% of the time. Sonic Team deserves that W
Just rewatching your reaction to the Titans for the first time seriously gives me such a wave of nostalgia when I played it myself, god I wish I could re-experience all over again because this shit was magical to the very true end❤❤❤❤
This game's finale is the biggest glowup in the franchise since the 2019-2020 movie redesign. Just wish we didn't have to keep fucking things up before we get to experience peak.
The journey of Sonic Frontiers has come to an end 🥲. Your reactions to the titan fights and the end made me so happy! Can’t wait for the frontiers sequel for 3+ years
Still can’t believe we got a true finale to this game. The ending to this game now feels like the finale to Sonic Heroes, Sonic Nazo Unleashed, Sonic X, and Sonic Unleashed combined
I'm kinda sad The End's monologue couldn't make it into the new story or to get a new one. Idk I prefer the dlc's ending but there's just something about it's otherwordly godly dialogue to Sonic as he fights against, well the end, of everything that just... really enhanced it as a boss/villain for me. It helped The End become one of my favorite villains for as short of a time as we had it around. All to say, this game genuinely gave so much cool shit and even the toho fight had so much fun shit in it, but yeah they fuckin cooked with the revamped fight. Thanks for this trip down memory lane of my now all time favorite Sonic game, you're the absolute goat Fadel.
I'm not going to finish the video just yet, since I still want to experience the new fights raw, but really enjoyed experiencing the originals with you again!! (And I'll undoubtedly enjoy the new ones later, too 😆)
Thats crazy fadel but you know what else is crazy? Someone stole my debit card, went and spent $60 at a restaurant, and only left a $4 tip. It's not even your card, and you leave a $4 tip. Crazy
I seriously wished this finale was in the main game, everyone would of lost their shit even more then now. Next game I hope they learn from this and they should always make the finale the most hype shit ever.
