What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
ASMR videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety, stress, insomnia, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and more.

Can you do a video with just those deep muffled crinkles sound? Every video on crinkles tends to have loud high pitched crinkles that really just doesn't relax me. So i usually try to stay away from crinkle videos, but I find that the bag of tissues you used in this worked great for me :)

this video is so good for working at the PC. the constant subtle sounds help tune me in to what i'm doing, and if i need a break, i can just sit back and close my eyes and concentrate on the sounds to get some good tinglin'. whispering and crinkles are probably my favourite triggers so it's great to get an hour of them done so well.

this is the best asmr video I've ever listened to. I've literally been listening to this every single night since it came out, and always if I listen to asmr I've ended up with this video. This is the perfect video for me, your whisper volume is perfect and they're perfectly soft, you talking is calm and and you take your time, you don't have any topics to talk about which helps me not to listen so carefully which helps me fall asleep faster, the crinkles are soft and dreamy, there's pauses between the crinkles which really helps me relax. I love this video so much! Thank you, it's everything I've been looking for!!!

Personally I don't like crinkling because most people are way too loud when they do it. If you turn the volume down, then you can't hear them talking :/ but you do a great job with it! Keep it up :p

This is the most crystal-clear video I think I've ever seen in all my life. My eyes weren't prepared for how amazing this looks, so 'spensive and professional looking! So simplistic and relaxed but exactly what I look for in your videos. I hope you talk to Margaret about maybe doing a haircut-type video with snipping and hairbrushing noises, I'd love to experience Margaret's version of that. I think I should be entitled to it after she cut my top lip off. I've not been able to whistle since. Also, nice threads, ER. Very trendy.

I've never watched male Asmr video makers only women. I just felt more comfortable with a woman doing it since I'm one. I saw your video when I typed in asmr in the search and this video was one of the first few. I'm so glad I clicked on your video. It was amazing. You have such a soothing voice. Your eyes look sad to me and I just want to give you a big bear hug. Thank you for sharing this video. I feel bad that I've been so sexist with my asmr for over 3 years now. I'm subscribing for sure. I have a little sister, 11 years of age, who is severely disabled and has had 44 operations. When people looks/stare, we always say we'd much rather someone come up and ask, because it's not rude to be curious, but it's rude to make someone think something about them is wrong. Hence why I hope you follow the same idea, and won't find it rude with me asking, did something happen to your right ear? I just noticed it was quite different to the left one and it made me curious!

Thanks for this vid. I didn't get many tingles because my senses are getting more particular I think, and bags/crinkling/whispering isn't doing it for me anymore. Tho I do NOT want the person to talk loudly or normally tho either. But, I duno i'm still searching for my current brain massage trigger. :P This is my first time watching a guy do ASMR by the way. and you do, do a good job. I love your eyes.

I hope he does one all about tapping. I like crinkles, but I love tapping. On a side note, anyone else notice how he always draws out saying ASMR? It doesn't seem to follow his normal speech pattern... I wonder if there is a reason for it, like it being a stylistic thing? It's not a bad thing. Just something I noticed and was curious about.
