I have to say that Wynona is such an amazing soul. I served in the Army for 13 years and always would go to the Indy 500 because my unit was in Indianapolis. I was standing at the fence by myself,in my uniform, just watching the cars go around when someone came and put their arm around me. I thought it was another soldier and I look to my left and all I see is red hair and Wynona said Hi soldier. I could’ve just fell over. She talked to me for a good 5 min and was the sweetest woman ever. Then the press noticed and I told her I didn’t want to be on the news and things and she said I’ll go away so they’ll leave you alone when all I wanted to do was talk to her for hours. She is such a sweet, beautiful, humble soul and I’ll never forget our meeting. It was truly precious. ❤️❤️❤️

You can tell she is very difficult and now I see why Wynonna is the way she acts with her mom

When Wy mentioned she gave 5 acres to her sis with a house to let her know she wanted her near her it made me realize how different all 3 of them are.

My beautiful daughter had mental illness and she worked so hard to bring it to the attention that there should be no stigma about mental illness. She would often speak to a room full of people about her journey with mental illness and Jennifer passed away in 2013 from deep vein thrombosis a blood clot but she would be so proud of Naomi Judd had she tried to educate the public about mental illness and how hard she fought her own personal battle. 💔 love and will miss you Mama Judd.

Naomi is finally free of pain. She shed the human cloak. Soar in bliss, Naomi. Your pain is no more.

This family was the definition of dysfunction and still lovable af. When you learn that Naomi was molested since the age of 3 it opens your eyes. People just don’t make up drama best believe it comes from somewhere. I hope she is at peace now. This is too sad 😢

In my opinion, all mothers usually have some disagreements once in a while with each other, throughout raising our kids and into adulthood. Some get brushed under the rug and others get pushed down inside and sometimes disappear and while the others blow up. There is no manual on how to parent or how to be a daughter, or even be in that daughter/friend relationship. Families can have close, special relationships or explosive, distant relationships. My hopes are that Ashley and especially Wynnona, don't blame themselves for their Mother's mental health struggles. Like Ashley said in one video after Naomi passed away, that mental health issues are not the child's fault. This is so true. There are times we fail in motherhood and other times, we triumph. We are blessed that The Judds shared their lives, their stories, their music and songs and were in our lives for decades. We are able to hear their songs for decades to come. Back in the day, we didn't talk about sexual or physical abuse, it just didn't happen. Nowadays, things are more open and encouraged. The great thing about their songs is that every song tells a story, and we can relate in some way to them. I love The Judds for who they are, who they were and for what we have to look forward to, together. Much love to all the Judds.

Sad. Naomi is gone at 76 yrs old. Depression is rough and she was battling it for years. Stay strong Wynonna/ Ashley/Larry and grsndkids

I am heartbroken tonight after learning about Naomi's passing. Severe Depression is a horrible disease. Praying she has found that peace that eluded her so often. Praying for Wynnona and Ashley and for her Husband of 33 years. My heart goes out to them. May she rest in Peace. We will love you forever!

So sad that Naomi’s gone. She suffered through so much, yet through dogged determination, she rose above what might have and did crush lesser talents. Not her. And then her two mega-watt talented daughters. Such good people who care about the world and those around them.Wynona with her fabulous voice will surely have continued success and keep her mother’s memory always near. Whether she tours and hits the high charts again or not, she has made it and doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone. And Ashley, what a special and talented actress. Like her mom & sis, she speaks her mind and is not afraid to let the world know what matters to her. I hope we can see more of her talented acting on the “big screen.” What an “American treasure” this family is.

I was so sad to hear she passed. That she decided it was time , is sad even more. She was a beautiful woman who gave the world two beautiful daughters. And lots of wonderful songs. Rest in Peace Naomi. Im sad for her husband too

I know a couple that adopted a son upon his north. They knew his mom. At age 14, while looking for something in his parents closet , he discovered his adoption papers. His 12 year old sister didn’t know he was adopted. I’d known the family since he was about 8 and I didn’t know until he found out. Shortly after his discovery he started acting out.. getting in trouble at school, going from good grades to bad grades, as an adult in his late 30’s he still is in and out of jail/ prison. Family secrets damage people in so many ways. As a Behavioral Health nurse since 1985 I see so many disorders in Naomi’s behavior that is hurtful to Wynonna. I’m praying for Peace for all of Naomi’s family.

I love that they shared so much about their personal affairs. Mental illness is tough and it affects everyone that loves the one suffering. My own family is filled with drama and depression I fight everyday. It’s nice to know I’m not alone. RIP Naomi. Prayers to the family and friends.

Those times when you’re poor make you more compassionate and strong. I really love my mom she raised ten kids, miscarried nine.She had a nervous breakdown from getting me better from whooping cough then went in the hospital and got ECT shock treatment. She worked till she was 75. They had faith.

All that they’ve been through together all That that they have Accomplished from rock bottom to becoming hugely successful, and then trying so hard to come to a place of healing together. I love them bc they have always been humble & REAL. As a 36 year old woman who struggles daily with depression, anxiety & ptsd, I know Naomi really tried her best to stay here. I pray she knows how loved she was and still is & that she is no longer in pain. I love the Judds forever and always.

I've been watching these videos ..and lord the tears just flowing for Wynonna and Ashley ...Ms Naomi was Sensational..and For them two to work on their problems and acknowledge the problems ...what a beautiful,sometimes hard but beautiful relationship they had.. and you can see the love between them...Love and Prayers for your family during this time..Ms Naomi thank you for acknowledging your mental health and all the hard work you done to deal with it...your music has been in my life since I can remember ..Your music has helped me thru my bad times and good times ...Thank You for Your Love and Compassion...Your Memory will live forever..Love can Build a Bridge .. I spent time on the property that Naomi purchased back in the 80's. It is beautiful land. I hate to hear the pain these beautiful ladies has endured. We are all broken in different ways. May they find their peace and become whole again. Love y'all!

I grew up loving the Judds. Watching this episode, I really feel for Wynonna. Her mom was a fighter and survivor, yet seemed to be all caught up in herself. While listening to this, I noticed every time Naomi was on, she was talking about herself; her pain; her trauma. When Wynonna talked it was about her mom, her career, the upcoming tour, her family. That is very telling to me. I hope they are at peace with each other. Relationships are hard. I can only imagine how difficult it was to be both mother & daughter & show business partners.

I love my mom but I think having a business with her and living with her would be very very hard. What we need to remember always is that mothers are human too and have demons as most of us do. Sad over the loss of Naomii and hope the family takes time to heal from this. I also feel a little sad for Ashley who was always in the background (although she managed to find success in her own right). That must be pretty hard, too.

Depression runs in families. Ashley seems to have inherited the sad curse of depression,too😢

Proof positive that nothing is as it seems from the outside... We all loved their music but on the inside, such complicated lives, relationships, unresolved childhood traumas that run so deep... But to just watch them together on stage... You'd never know it. I'm so glad that they were able to reach a place in their own lives that they were able to have relationships with each other & regardless of what the 'cause of death' turns out to be for Naomi, I hope she, and all of them, are able to find peace.

I saw this series when it first came out but watching this after Naomi’s demise I’m seeing this differently. Still this is a real loss to me. I loved these women as a family.

Wy, the way you grew up, is what has made you the wonderful, talented woman you are today. My Mother and yours (without the singing talent), could be sisters. I grew up not knowing my birth father. I always thought she would tell me. She died at 46 and I waited until age 80 and Ancestry to locate my birth family. My dad died the year I retired and before dna. But I have met 2 half brothers and a half sister. I’m now at peace as I know who I am. I lost my first born to a sudden heart attach at age 58. Now, that has broken my heart and Zi miss him everyday. I’m now 84 so somehow I’ve prevailed.

I took care of Wilbert the step dad of Naomii do believe when he was in a facility for physical rehab. He was the kindest man no attitude they warned us about not ever asking him about the Judd's. One day I was helping him and he was talking about missing driving his truck. And how he has a really cool cd player in it. Without thinking I said so is country music your favorite? I turned around with out a word he was laughing he said honey I know what rules they told you it's ok I won't tell you asked if I like country music and to answer your question yes it's my favorite! 😜 I just loved him

I am a dumb gay guy with a huge love of Madonna, dance music, and synthesizers, I only know a few songs of the Judds, but OMG I love their humorous demeanor and sassy personalities!!!!!! It breaks my heart that people still go starving in this country. It really stabs me in the gut knowing that she committed suicide. I wish I could hug them both. Breaks my heart for Ashlee and Wynonna …..

Aww I just see so much pain in them both. I just want to hug them! Hurt people hurt people. Trauma bond is also very real in relationships with narcissists. I hope for healing and I hope Wynonna keeps making music.

Naomi was a beautiful, fragile, big hearted lady. A true lady. She reminds me of a fragile bird who needed to be protected. Her big loving heart killed her. It broke.😪

As much as I adore The Judds and I adored Naomi Judd, when I read her book Love Can Build A Bridge and when I watched this documentary, I realized how my own mother was manipulating and controlling and how I could relate to Wynonna’s behavior of rebellion in her younger years. Naomi Judd was a phenomenon in her own way; and helped me to understand her mental illness is so much like my mother’s mental illness which she refuses to accept.

Rest in peace Sweet Naomi. Your struggle is over. Your pain is realized with the help of these videos. It's painful to listen to and I think many of us are relating in one way or another. That's only one reson that Your music hits us to the core. Beause you will always be America's Country Singing Sweethearts, and we all love you. 💘💔❤

Naomi started talking about her depression after Ashley's book was published. She also started talking about her childhood sexual abuse then. I often wondered if her depression came from being "exposed" for who she actually is. Her ex-husband says she duped him into marrying her by pretending that the pregnancy was his. He felt she did it because his family had more money than Wy's bio dad. He said she painted him very unfairly and dishonestly in her book, Love will build a bridge.Then came Ashley's book in 2011, exposing her as not the person she wants the public to know her as. The thing is, she was a 17 yr old pregnant girl who did the best she could. No one is perfect. People love her. She had a lot to love herself for, too. I hope she is at peace.

Naomi was a wonderful,hard working mom! She loved her daughters. Shame on people for insulting this gracious, hardworking, big hearted lady. And she was a lady. I love NAOMI. WY is a smart aleck

What is nice is the love they have for each other enough to seek help to heal and get along. As for how they feel deeply and their emotions are on the surface and not bottled up and is why their songs are so great, they emote, they let us feel those words... God Bless the sisters and their families and friends for such a tragic way to lose their loved one (but how strong she was to bring up her daughters and survive so long, she did the best she could with the struggles she had to deal with...)

I hope they were in a good place before Naomi passed. Relationships are like roller coasters with highs and lows. I pray Wynonna knows how much her mother truly loved her despite their rough times.

I love the mom. I am sure that she was tired. There was so much jealousy and micro aggression around her. Watching this short video was painful. I think the mother did the best she could raising two children alone. My hat goes off to her. It could not have been easy . Prayers for the family .

These Lady’s are very talented each in her own way, they are very pretty too ! I like most of their songs but as with any music it’s all what moves you , fills your soul ! I saw Elvis in his rise to immortality as King of rock and roll that was new form of musical expressions Waaaay back in 1952 ! That was a picture of him in a country/western song magazine I was about 14 then ,boy how time slipped away . I am 81 now but I still love the king ! 👍💕🌈🦋👵🏻🐈🖖👽

Unless you've been through a cycle of abuse, there's no way of knowing the ups and downs one can mentally have. I for one, hope that family finds healing somewhere along the line

Wynona, I didn’t know about my biological father until I was80 years old. My mother passed away at 46 and never told me anything. When Ancestry came about, I submitted my DNA and was match immediately. Unfortunately my dad passed away prior to Ancestry. I have met 3 half brothers and 1 half sister that are great. Not knowing who you belong to was hard. Now, my soul is at peace. I lost my oldest son to a heart attack in 2022. I have another son who gave me three beautiful granddaughters. In Feb 2024, I became a great grandmother. My husband passed away at age 36 and I am a happy single 84 year old. You mom did her best with what she had to work with. We all love you Wynona.

Naomi looks so hurt. I think this tour hurt her heart. She was the Queen of the "Judd's" and earned her respect.

This reminds me of my mom & I so very much !!!!! Now with her being 84 yrs young an in poor health with me NOW Being the "momma" really makes me RETHINK our relationship for what time we have left !!!!! Bless you MOM & I love you SOOOOOO SOOOOO VERY DEEPLY !!!!!

After watching this entire series…..yes I did so because I’m sad over Naomi’s suicide, I have an ENORMOUS amount of respect for Wynonna! It’s amazing she’s not in a padded cell! What a strong, authentic and immensely talented woman. I share several of the same family issues - genetic depression in my family, sexual fondling by a step grandfather when I was 11, a paternal grandfather who murdered his wife then turned the gun on himself. My Mother abandoned me at age 8. Lots of baggage in my genetics too however I NEVER gave any of it my power or let it control my happiness. It made me strong, independent and gave me resolve in life. Naomi was right, we are all “hard wired” differently. I’m deeply saddened these struggles ruled her life and she could not overcome the pain. Seeing how she passed the load along for others around her to carry is equally saddening. Wynonna and Ashley (others too) had burdens put on them they never should have and it proved to change who they are too. Wynonna, you are FREE! Leave ALL of that baggage on a deserted road and push it from your mind. Drama be damned! It will take time and effort but you certainly are strong enough to do it! Go forth and be happy! God gave you an immense gift in life, thank you for sharing it with your fans for so long. We all mourn this tragic loss with you / your family, we wish you happiness and peace all the days of your life. #breakthecycle #choosehappy 🙏🏻 ❤️

The good and the bad, what a beautiful and loving relationship Wynonna and Naomi really had. My Mom passed away in 2018. My Mom and I had good times and bad times, and no matter what we loved one another deeply and unconditionally. My Mom was my whole world. And I can see that same strong bond between Wy and her Mom. The grief of losing my Mom has been complicated, so deep. I'm praying for Wynonna. My heart breaks for her. I know she's gonna miss her so much. You lose a huge part of you, when you lose someone you love so much. Naomi was a beautiful soul. She shined. Saw The Judds in the 90s and what an amazing show it was. My heart goes out to Wynonna and Ashley. We will see our Mom's again one day in Heaven.

Another beautiful angel in the angel choir. I understand the dailly struggle with mental illness. I read online about my diagnosis two days ago. I have a lifespan in the range of 60 to 75 years. Many of us give up during those years. I hope I don't and I'm getting the help I need. I'm 64 years old now.

I saw the Judds at the very beginning of their career....in a little town in Minnesota. They played that tiny high school gym like it was a stadium of 100k. It was clear they were heading for something big big big.

I was shocked, confused and saddened that Naomi had taken her life. You never know what others a faced with, be graceful with everyone in your path.

I think the whole family as a whole is fabulous. They have saw each other through the hardest times. All three ladies will always be a trip to be reckoned with. We love u ladies.

Here we have a remarkable woman a Mom a businesswomen and songwriter and a singer. She brought herself and her Girls out of poverty do you know how hard it is to get signed in music and in Hollywood. I think she did all this out of guilt. How she messed up and so on she moved her girls uptown. I wish I could meet Wynonna she has been my idol since the early 80. Kudos, to Wynonna for having the courage to have a "Do Over" with herself & Momma. You can't make an OLD Leopard change her spots....so know just her "trying" is a miracle. I am praying for you two to get inner peace from "trying" to do this mother/ daughter thing better. "Listening" to each other is the hardest part. Also, knowing yourself is key. Respecting each other as adult women & agree to dissagree..then huge hugs anyway! Love you guys, stay safe & sound. A Nashville girl here myself. Mother daughter relationship doesnt have to be complex...learning to be humble and respect for each other goes along ways especially from the mother..shes the mother always to the alwsys daughter

I was lied to by my mother on who my father was. For 10 years I thought my sisters father was my father. He wasn’t. During a fight she had with who I thought was my father, she yelled to me “ he’s NOT your father! YOUR father was killed on the Hollywood freeway on his motorcycle when you were 18 months old. We couldn’t have an open casket!” That was how I found out. This man had been molesting me and my aunt so I was glad he wasn’t my father and was out of my life. Still a fukked up and emotionally damaging way to find out

i just love WYNONNA AND CACTUS MOSER !! They make a great and crazy team!! Got to see them in concert recently and they BLEW ME AWAY!!!! LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!
