I was just in Kentucky a week ago doing a barrel pick with Hot Buttery Rolls, the people at Bulleit are awesome, Glad you got to do your pick with Melissa- we also did two barrels.

Kid you not, I've been kicking around a day-trip to Gay's (just over the border) for a couple of months now. Tell me next time you're headed there - Kira and I will meet you there. T-Bell breakfast is amazing. Very interesting on the different temps for the different grains. I did some reading on the subject (and bought a Still) a few years ago, and it was recommended like 155 or 160 degrees for everything. No need to respond to this - just interesting. Interesting on the tech piece of Bulleit too.

Like the travel vids. The knife transition into morning had a great Paranormal Activity feel to it. If one of you was bloody and dead in the next scene, I would have believed it for 3 seconds. Can’t wait to taste the barrel pick!

I like these travelogues. If I can make a recommendation maybe have a splash screen introduction for the people you’re hanging out with, even if people that have been watching for awhile know who they are. Extra editing which isn’t your favorite but just putting it out there.

I didn’t even know they distilled at Bulleit. So if we’re to go to the store right now snd a bottle of Bulleit bourbon, would anyone of the liquid have been distilled at Bulleit? I had always assumed it was MGP and/or four Roses.

Probably not yet. I think everything they have distilled themselves is still to young to be bottled on it's own. I'm sure shortly they will start blending it into thier remaining sourced stock until it reaches full maturity.

Why do the 2021 bottles of regular orange Bulleit bourbon still have the "bottled by..." verbiage on the back? If it's their juice, why bother? Thanks in advance if you know.

So they give us samples from different barrels. If we like them, they bottle that barrel out, and it is offered to our patreons.

Different suggestion for the two barrels. Sell them as two 375s? One Dan, one Sean. Settle it through a patreon vote from those that are able to get their hands on them. I just hope I can pick these up when you release them, cause that new riff pick was pretty damn good. Probably because Dan didn't pick it

So we went and picked two single barrels of whiskey. They wont get blended with any other barrels making a unique product. Most products are blended to keep a consistent flavor where store picks are single barrels meant to be different (better)

I mean years of repeated unproven abuse claims tend to strain a relationship. I probably wouldnt offer any contact either and she left the company on her own accord. If you've ever visited Bulliet and talked to thier staff it's pretty obvious they dont have an issue with anyone's lifestyle.

@@BourbonJunkies Oh I dont doubt that. Bulleit bourbon and rye had a huge hand in my entry to the whiskey world. Im sure the people there are great but Im not putting money into a founder like that.
