Ogyen Trinley Dorje has been recognized by HH The Dalai Lama as the rebirth of the 16th Karmapa. My teachers and I are students of his. Trinley Thaye Dorje.was recognized by the 14th Shamarpa as the rebirth of the 16th Karmapa. Ole Nydahl was recognized by the 14th Shamarpa and is recognized by Trinley Thaye Dorje to be a teacher. or Lama. Ogyen Trinley Dorje and Trinley Thaye Dorje have met. I know very little about Ole Nydahl and his Centers.
Not the original person, but am curious - how does it work with 2 different recognized reincarnations? Are these claims compatible? And what do they think of each other?
