That's really cool your introduction into the FGC. Killah Priest is a Wu-Tang associate and was a member of a rap group called Sunz Of Man as well as The Horseman with rappers Ras Kass, Canibus and Kurupt. He is a respected rapper, lyricist and spoken word artist. So yeh Wu Killah Priest is definitely named after the same rapper.

Yeah Goro should be higher because he's used a lot in competitive play. Ashrah Lao, Tanya and Johnny being the common ones. On the other hand, it's legit only one viable move he has. You never see punch walk, stomp, or the grab used except for the rarest of instances. But if you buffed those moves slightly, you run the risk of going too far in a certain direction that he'd instantly become either THE best or Top 3 Kameos in the game.

I already have Ermac-Jannet(Sento) combos already, 47% from a punish for 1 bar. Pretty amazing! (45% from a save overhead launcher, 1 bar as well) Only downside is that it took me 3 days in the lab to learn haha, but now its strong as hell. The trick is: DB1 to lift ---> call in sento, walk close to enemy --> press F4,DB4 Enjoy! It creates a teleport bounce, this is the starting point.

Love listening to these, and I learn some stuff too! Keep up the good work. Agree with most of your choices. I just switched to using Scorpion with Tanya this season, and I'm loving him. She gets great damage and swaggy kombos and gets to set up her Guidance fully-charged mid kombo. Plus I love the aesthetic of them together. (Also hard agree with the commenter about Tanya/Goro, been avoiding that team. Been using Jax, Sonya, now Scorpion. May switch to Khameleon or Mavado. But now I'm starting to see Tanya/Goro all over KL.)

When it comes to character choice, I think liking what you play helps a lot. In MK11 I wound up maining Frost (with the drill, freeze and dive bomb) and retired with 59% winrate in KL. Turns out that her toolkit of keeping the opponent out with long range normals really suited my playstyle. So in MK1 I play Ashrash for a similar reason, although she's waaay stronger than Frost. However I pair her with Scorpion, which I know is sort of outdated as meta goes, and Sareena/Lao/Khameleon would probably be a "better choice". But I enjoy Scorpion for all the meterless confirms. Yes, I do considerably less damage than most Ashrah's I see, but I have excess bars for armor, breakers, and utility stuff (like ex light projectile) I assume Mavado fills a similar niche and might be even better (some Scorpion calls you need to make on a read) but sadly I haven't been able to afford the Kombat Pack just yet

I feel like nerfing khanelion and kano and buffing darius would make a pretty good kameo list

I feel like a good buff for tremor would be to have it so that switching variations reduces cooldown on summons. So for example say you use rock punch to keep yourself safe and normally it takes 10 seconds to come back (I don't know the actual time, I'm just making a hypothetical). If instead you rock punch and immediately switch variations it recharges in 5 seconds instead. I think this would encourage people to use his summons more and also utilize all of his variations rather than just switching to set up for the next ambush all the time.

Tremor has the pop up too that you can combo into and extend with. I use a lot of his moves, just gotta stay on your toes. I think a lot of these kameos have things that people are sleeping on 😴

You can kombo into goros crouch grab from nearly any mid move! I use it all the time 🤷🏻‍♂️

I played a Smoke/Goro on KL and got absolutely washed. I think this team is very slept on and also Goro should be A tier. p.s. you guys were both referencing ITYSL in the beginning but were referencing different seasons of the show

33:41 agreed , i guess the shadow nerfs to khameleon and janet were ok i guess? but bring the other kameos up to them. And yes omni man jax is crazy good but i think mavado is better for him now. also do you think quan needs a slight buff? the new portal is good but the big chompy is very hard to get out and the green portal most the time people get to grab or use a move that just goes through it. also his 12f high should be a mid cuz his mid sucks donkey dick

As someone who plays all the Edenians playing Tanya/Khameleon is extremely powerful. Why? Because we are bringing the full power of the Umgadi and as warrior priestesses, we are dishing out the wrath of Delia and Argus on all the toxic blasphemers on Kombat League! Also, is Dink ready for the inevitable return of Jade or I should say Countess Jade ?🤔
