Sweet! I know you will enjoy this 4K set. I liked all the extra touches and artwork they used in this limited edition set. What did you think looked the best about this boxed set? The hard part about the Farscape 20th anniversary Blu Ray set is that it is not sold anymore regularly. It’s only available through a few remaining 3rd party aftermarket sellers and so it makes it hard doing reviews on products that aren’t readily available for everyone to buy. Because I would end up getting a lot of messages and complaints because they can’t buy or purchase them lol!!!! I have done this type of review before in the past & it didn’t turn out well lol!!! 😂 Thanks for your support!

@@InSearchofPhysicalMedia I like that they fixed the problems with the original 4k disc the artwork was more to my liking 👍. I don't remember the fluctuated when watching but it looked like all the actors just got of a tanning salon. I cab say this the Dolby Vision really made my day so much better than HDR10.

I was on the fence about getting this (because I'm not just a huge fan of Karate Kid II and III) until I learned that the Karate Kid 1 4k in the set is actually an improved disc over the stand alone release. That cinched it. Great video!

I am glad my review helped you out & you decided to get this release. I was wondering if this was going to worthwhile and I was very happy once I started to see that they did a lot of extra work to even provide a new first Karate Kid 4K disc, it says great things for physical media with some companies like Sony, Arrow Video, Paramount, CBS, WB, Universal Studios, Elephant Films & Lionsgate because they are all stepping up their game huge and are providing more and more remastered & restored movies & TV series on Blu Ray & 4K than ever before, so physical media is growing not slowing down with those companies. I have been surprised greatly at the amount of huge releases that have come out this last year and are still coming out because we have been getting more than ever before & its exciting time to be a cinephile & collector.

@@InSearchofPhysicalMedia I'm hoping to get the Karate Kid trilogy on 4k but I have a question to asked on the first Karate Kid are there any deleted scenes that weren't shown in the theaters the reason why I asked is because there were some deleted scenes where both Daniel and Johnny are getting into again whereas Johnny is approaching Daniel while he is drinking from the water fountain and another scenes whereas in the cafeteria he and Johnny goes at it again I just wanted to know if the deleted scenes are on this 4k release

They are great fun to watch again but just don’t expect 2 & 3 to be as amazing as the first film in this series but I still love all 3 for the nostalgia factors & the warm fuzzy feeling I get when watching these lol!!!

Hi James. I have a questionI am not sure that you can answer. I just ordered this set, but got the set without the digital codes sold by Prime store shipped by Amazon. When I got it, it did not come with slip cases for individual movies or have the artwork on the discs, but has the same outer box and disc menus etc. I did not know this when I ordered,, so I scanned the set and it turned out it is the Australian Version released at the same time. Do you think the disc quality would be the same? Is there a way I can check? It is also released by Sony. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the US version before it sold out. It did not state it was the Australian version on the listing. I saw some were getting the Canadian and I thought this may be the English release. Now wishing I would have ordered one I knew was Canadian as it showed it at least had the slipcovers and probably artwork. My main concern now though is quality of discs themselves.

The disc should be the exact same SONY 4K transfers as I reviewed In This video, it’s simply different cases & boxing! SONY releases their exact same 4K releases in other countries just simply with different cases! So you should be completely fine! Hope this helps!🤟😉

@@InSearchofPhysicalMedia Yes, I did see each movie my friend, with diminishing returns. I actually preferred 3 over 2 which I thought was way too sappy. I saw the original Karate Kid in England when I was stationed there in the mid 80s, while seeing 2 on VHS, number 3 I watched on cable. I'm enjoying the series Kobra Kai over the 3 sequels. Have you been following the series? I did buy the original KK on Bluray for my son but he loves the series more so I won't be upgrading to 4K unless there is a fire sale. I did enjoy the screen shots and how you displayed the artwork. Keep up the great work! 👍
