I’ve gotten a lot of hits on spinner baits as they roll it’s like a dieing fish making a twist escape an alligator role almost except it’s got free meal written on it 😂

I feel like most subtle action trailers work good in winter cause the spinner bait already has action itself, this swimmin dinger in the video doesn’t kick as much as like a keitech but it still kick, in winter try split tail trailers like flukes or something with a tight action like a single tail grub, a keitech just seems like too much thump when bass are cold

Depends. Most of the time the full trailer. Sometimes I bite some off to make it more compact

I have way better results without a trailer, but I always use a trailer hook

Honestly I get the best results with a trailer hook. You suggest adding a different trailer for the winter though?

I just get hung using a trailer hook. Trailer depends on water clarity. Mainly the plastic helps float the bait. I will add a bigger boot tail plastic in dirty water
