...to further the conversation, the reason the shape is like that is efficiency. Tesla cars have long ranges, especially on the highway, for their size, battery capacity, and price - because they don't waste as much energy pushing through the air. So, it's a compromise. This will need a bigger battery to have similar range, which will mean either it's got a bigger, heavier, more expensive battery - or it will have a shorter range.
My family has a Kia hybrid, a Model 3 Performance, and a Bolt. I think this is by far the least attractive of their electric cars so far. It just looks a bit off and I doubt that this shape will help it to maximize range. It does look a lot like an ICE car so maybe people will care more for familiarity than efficiency. We'll see. The small EV looks awesome though.
I'm not trying to be a smart.... but you're going to have to buy a fairly old car and get rid of your smartphone if you want to avoid that. You're tracked everywhere you go. Even inside stores if you connect to the wifi.
@@davids1816 Yeah but there are modern cars with good customer service in Australia that verified not collecting or selling my driving data to jack up my insurance premium. Choice reported the good ones as well. Kia is being worst of the bunch. Also braking and speeding can be safety action under certain circumstances.
