This is a great song, guitar solo is by a Fleetwood Mac dude but it really sounds like something off Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell album too!So many mediocre songs become hits in the last decade or two that it's kind of a surprise when a great song tops the charts! Plus the music biz is like showbiz, very ageist, once your out of your twenties you can't be the hot, new thing anymore.

I think it belongs on sams town. They are so true to their Vegas roots its unreal. I think the Sams Town album cover captures Northtown Vegas so well and this track the same.

This album is like the killers perfecting their sound as they age. It has the pop synth of Hot Fuss and Day & Age, the heartland rock of Battle Born, the epic melodies of Sam's Town and the raw emotion of Wonderful Wonderful - all mixed with a bit of 80's new wave from Brandon Flower's solo efforts. It's just fantastic.

Ok, yeah. Here's where I'm at. Saw the Killers lat night on Colbert (first time). Today, I'm binge watching Killer videos and yes, I have been weeping openly at several. Just love a perfect pop tune and these guys, these guys that's all they seem to come up with. Throw in Lindsey Buckingham for good measure. The Killers. Gonna get me through the COVID. Disclosure: I'm 68 years old. Really.

Listen to Sam's Town. It's absolutely absurd but the bombast makes it sort of endearing. It's essentially a collection of rock-ballads about the desert and sin and whatever else to the tune of searing, lazer like synths. Actually now that I mention it that's pretty much all of their songs, but this sort of encapsulates it. I wouldn't really call it pop it sort of doubles down on the grunge of the first album without doubling down on the glam. Also my god I hope I have music taste like that coming out of my 60s

The first time I listened this song, it really got me, I thought: "Another good song from The Killers", then at the end I thought "What an amazing solo, it reminds of someone's style, then, a couple of days later I realized the guitar player was Lindsey Buckingham, he is one of my favorite players and composers, that sole fact added an unique feeling to this song for me :)

I can really hear the Lindsay Buckingham influences on this. The drums sound like ‘Love runs deeper.’ The guitar solo at the end is stunning (Wish it was longer). This is amongst the Killers best work.

So i.. took a trip to Northern California (Leggett town) with a black convertible Camaro topped down.. wanna visit one of the Drive thru trees in there.. it's in the afternoon around 5pm on summer day.. me sitting on a bench in that area surrounded by giants and redwoods.. and all of sudden i heard the next song played on a speaker which was hanging on the wall of their gift shops and yes it's THE KILLERS CAUTION.. I didn't know the band so i used google song search and found it... immediately fell in love with the band.. and then i drove to my Resort towards highway 1 and played this over and over couldn't get enough.. WHAT A WONDERFUL BAND!

this song is just incredible. Grammy material. After a few weeks of listening - I still would've liked Lindsey's solo to be panned center and brought out in the mix more. His lead seems to get a little buried as there are a lot of superb parts going on around it. The lead is what gives the song the extra lift getting out - the great crescendo - I just think the level should brought up!

G'day, Paul from Aust. here. I gave up on modern music 20 years ago. Love my loaded IPod. Then by accident I heard this. Wow! Then I heard their cover of Ice House's "Electric Blue". Terrific! I am now 70 years old. I got a card from a mate for my B'Day that said " It was Great to be 20 in the 70's but not so great to be 70 in the 20's". Thank You.
