Good morning Cullen! This has been an awesome posting! Such a nice island and people to happen on. I could listen to their stories forever! They are just plain honest, kind God-fearing people! Hope the cruising today is smooth!
Good times! Our jet ski club rides past the Hannibal target ship to smith island every year. The bay can be unpredictable but always awesome! Best of luck on your journey, love your videos!
This is so cool ! You’ll never forget these times ! I’m in process of restoring a 1986 315 Chris Craft Commander , as I grew up on a 1984 315 commander , I even got my pops old slip !
You are a fantastic storyteller! Episode one and episode two have both been so interesting. I’m following and can’t wait to see what other parts of Americana you experience!
Yes! I have 35 minutes of video just of our conversations last night I know the average viewer will be uninterested or just not click on a video that long. I try to balance natural pacing with entertainment in this series, but I'm keeping all the raw files and might revisit them after we finish the trip
@@CullenCraft it would back awesome if you did do a more full length video once the trip is done. But even with this series, your true fans out here are enjoying this just as much as you man. I think the thing we love the most it the huge ass smile on your face the whole time. We can definitely see that you're in your element and having fun and that's what we really love to see. 😊
Looks like an adventure! I'm a bit concerned at the 70 miles covered in 2 days though. 1600 miles in 16 days is 100 miles a day. You seem to be behind schedule. This trip will be epic though! Thanks for taking us along!
I know you guys are getting warmed up to the boat still, but I'm sitting on my couch trying to push the throttles forward watching you guys suffer going so slow! It's like a car where sometimes hitting the brake causes the accident but hitting the gas is what gets you our of harm's way. That is a planing hull and I bet it tops out around 30mph at LEAST. All Cruisers boats are planing boats and they all go pretty fast, some more like 45mph. That big ole aft cabin probably not as much. But man, if you were just on plane, it would be a stabile ride and you would be covering WAY more ground(water) But anyways I'm on my couch and you're on the boat haha. Great videos either way and good luck, I'll be watching along
Cullen, If you had turned left and went about 5 more miles you could have stopped in Crisfield, Maryland. Lots of good restaurants there. There's lots of unusual cuisine on the Eastern Shore. Maryland crabs and ... Have you ever eaten muskrat? Its a Delmarva delicacy.
Ive been a subscriber since you started, nicely done Sir. I am in Charleston SC and Im a pretty good engineer/mechanic, not to jinx you, but if you need any assistance on the way down...reach out to me.
