This formation of The King's Singers is never going to be beaten. Neither by future King's Singers, nor any other group. Absolutely perfect, with character, fun and poise.

Good luck Johnny.... and good luck too Stephen in whatever you do post King singers, you deserve all the kudos you have earned... we sang this my senior year for the last concert! same arrangement and everything! i don’t think my choir teacher realized the power he handed his junior/senior concert choir that year when he handed us out 20+ kazoos and we had to learn how to harmonize on them. I can still sing the alto part almost 4 years later!
I agree. A songwriter solely writes Bohemian Rhapsody and then went way to the other side and wrote this song. An added bonus, this same writer also had a great singing voice. RIP Freddie Mercury.

I initially thought that they really didn't have the humour down. There was humour alright, just not the devilish winking that Freddie had. By the end of the song, however, I was hooked.
The weird thing is that, as fantastic as this arrangement and performance is (as always with KS) it speaks reams to Queen and FM especially that the original still absolutely towers above it
@jowdemanne ... Stephen is the fellow on the end, stage right.. Who looks like 'Mr Bean'.. he leaves the end of September this year and he has been in TKS for 22 years... What a voice, he has a little bit more meat on his lovely frame nowadays... Johnny Howard takes over in October... good luck Johnny and Stephen...
