Wait what...it wasn't a series 😲. Holy cow this just raised the bar for MV and bl movie expectations 😳 Okay I had to rewatch this to actually realize the significance of the song and realize that white lotus had died. After the white Lotus died the king seemed to be drinking and in perhaps a drunken daze sees visions or relives memories of white lotus when he was still alive. When the king wakes from the spell of delirium or perhaps a drunken haze he is drawn from this dream or waking fantasy and realises that the white lotus is dead and decomposing at which point he takes him to have proper burial. This MV was deeper than it first appeared the message and meaning behind it is bloody beautiful but heart breaking all the same 🥺

That scene where he's hugging the corpse gives off that The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System vibe.

The clothing, excellent makeup, accessories, hair, etc, and the whole production, balancing outstanding with natural, the hours put into planning........... I'm betting that the story, the "acting", actually may have been less work and more of a spontaneous act of love! I am curious about the approximate hours (maybe a "forever dream"?) that went into this production. A short story, a title? The story is well told, love the director of this MV and the music jus adds that magic. However, I sincerely think it sound so much better in the original language. Am not saying this English version is bad, but it doesn't hit the same way the original does.
