One of the underrated, greatest, guitar riffs of all time. This was the beginning of punk rock... all of the early punks were listening to this.

I remember hearing this song in 1980 my friend in junior high( in a suburb of San Deigo California) had one of those cassette-playing boom boxes he brought to school, at the time, I was in the Punk Rock movement The Sex Pistols The Dead Kennedys The Dammed X from Los Angeles, and The Ramones I told myself wow this sounds so good it was like the Kinks were aware of the punk rock movement in England 1980 this song is brilliant!
