Me and a friend just went in on our first order from boot strap farmer, I was so impressed that I placed a solo order after. We were a skeptical about the pricing but the quality is awesome. If you have a garden buddy and need new supplies think about placing a group order.
I bet your mom can’t wait to have those daffodils - there are sooo many too!!! It’s gonna be awesome 😎 I couldn’t find parsley at my local shops so I’m just out in the herb garden weeding and what do I find?!? At least 3 dozen volunteer Italian parsley just perfect to dig up and pop into some leftover planting cells - I feel truly BLESSED! I got to plant garlic, yours looks amazing. How do you decide between hard and soft neck and why lol 🕊️💚☘️💚🕊️
My hubby used to grow garlic for restaurants a while ago, he only grew hardneck because I believe the flavor is better (Don't quote me on that), so when I was looking into buying some garlic using hardneck was my only option.
@@SoilandMargaritas thank you so much I didn’t know that about garlic 🧄 that makes sense we all want the best flavor. I use a lot of garlic 🧄 and onions but haven’t really tried growing - your stand of garlic is impressive and was a real inspiration to me. I have the room to grow some 😎
It will be beautiful! I am about 50-60 miles south of you and I spent several hours planting tomatoes and flowers-mostly winter sowing. Happy planting.
Roxanna - how long do your raised bed boards last? I am considering adding some to my garden. The steel containers look amazing but I’m south facing 100% full Southern California sun, so I am afraid they get too hot!
I would think they last a good 10 years, we installed our beds in 2020 using treated pine and they look great. I also have another bed that we setup in 2021 and that one we used untreated because we had extra wood from a project and it looks amazing!
@@SoilandMargaritas cool! Thank you. I found you by way of ‘A Beautiful Nest’ YT channel last year. You and Shondria are the reason I love flowers now!😊
