The Kitten Diaries Part 1 

The term “making biscuits” is so cute! Biscuit should be a name idea!! Also a name my mom suggested for the puppy we got about a month ago was “Nutmeg” which we didn’t end up choosing, but it was really cute!!

More kitten diaries!

about a year ago I got a six month old kitten as a playmate for my 16 year old cat. I introduced them slowly and the kitten is super friendly to my older cat, but my older cat still hisses at him. But, they do get along. it could be that if Gucci is still hissing at him later on she just doesn't understand how to communicate with the new kitten since Gucci has been an only kitty for a while. My older cat will hiss and get super grumpy with the newer kitten, even after a year, just because he is in her way. but then I'll come home after being away for a few hours and ill find them laying on my bed together. they even have secret meetings to plan how to steal my food when i eat. One distracts me while the other goes for the food, then they share the spoils. they also play with each other and chase each other around the house, but my older cat still hisses while they play so even if Gucci still hisses at him after a while it just takes time for them to get settled and its different for every cat. You have to learn each kitties mannerisms and make sure that the "fighting" isn't just playing and vise versa just make sure to keep things even for territorial areas, like if Gucci has a specific bed she likes then keep your new kitten off of it, that way Gucci has a safe space. Hope this helps ease fears a little bit. I really enjoy watching your videos, when I'm supposed to be studying lol. Have a good day. :)
