The Knight Witch REVIEW - Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, & PC
In this video I review The Knight Witch, a brand new metroidvania, bullet hell shoot 'em up from Super Mega Team, and Team 17! The Knight Witch released on the 29th of December 2022 and is available now on PC via Steam, Xbox, PlayStation & Nintendo Switch - for around £15.99 UK.
The Knight Witch gameplay used in this review is from the Steam version of the game, reviewed on PC. Many thanks to Super Mega Team for kindly sending over the review key for the purpose of this video.
The Knight Witch is a metroidvania game that sets out to blend metroidvania design with bullet hell, shoot 'em up combat. Its definitely one of my most anticipated indie games of this year, as a big metroidvania fan. I had a blast with the Steam Next Fest demo, so was very excited to find out how the full game would fair.
On a side note on performance, The Knight Witch performed very well on my PC, which is fairly modest - with a Ryzen 7 3800x and a RTX 2060. The game wasn't demanding, and had no issues, and was easily able to achieve high frame rates at 1440p.
We have had some incredible Metroidvania games over the last few years, can The Knight Witch be another great? Let me know your thoughts on it, right down in the comments!

@@jeffreyb180 I personally played it on steam, and it ran beautifully. Not sure what @scott x 2 played it on? But if you are wanting it on the go over all, id go switch. But if you want the game to looks its best, and it is a beaut looking game ran at higher performance, I would recommend going the PS5 route. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

@@Meisuko No, I think this is actually less hard than Rise and Shine. So if you've played that, youll be fine. This also has accessibility options in the form of 'cheat codes' which you can enter in if you are struggling. I did it without, as I enjoy the challenge, did have a fair few deaths on bosses etc. which i personally dont mind at all as you get a sense of satisfaction from beating them without. But with the cheat modes, it can give u extra health drops and other things I believe. 👍😊

@@TheIndieGamer I did play the demo and I find level design is abit of a drag. The movement is on the slow side for me, I think I would have appreciated the game alot more if I got the dash ability from the start. I haven't tested the cards yet but it does feel like it would be a problem on the late game.

@@TheIndieGamer and yes, I am a bullet hell fan. I mostly play Sora, Suguri, Hellsinker and Knights in the Nightmare.
