This takes me back to when I was learning to play guitar. I used to sit in my room for hours listening to their songs over and over until I got in on the guitar.

His voice is MAGIC.

I only started listening to them 6 years ago but for some reason, hearing their songs makes me feel nostalgic and takes me back to the mid-late 2000s. I'm guessing it's the chord progression and the instruments+effects they use in their songs which are very reminiscent of that time period as far as popular music genre is concerned.

geez that band always sounds much better acoustic... love them unplugged

it changes the tone when you tape over the whole completely (with thick tape like that). I'd imagine he's either done that before and just moved the tape to the sides while he wants the normal sound.. or the guitar was carcked/broken and its a DIY repair job :P
