Astro is that one group that I started to listen to before I knew anything about them and I couldn't read any korean at the time, so I didn't know the names of their songs they had out then, and when I found out more about them later, I just fell in love with them even more! The way you described them is really spot on! They're masculine but are at the same time not afraid of showing feminity and androgenity in their music and mvs.

I've only discovered Astro after the KDrama Rookie Historian. Cha Eun Woo has such a beautiful, smooth speaking voice, even though I don't speak or understand Korean, his tone was just so sweet on the ears. I was wondering if he was musical, and that's how I've found out about Astro. I know they have a strong fan basis, I still feel they are underrated. Their music somehow reminds me of the 90's... - to me if BTS was like BSB (because of the hype) Astro would be alike to Westlife in a sense I can't quite describe. I really am cheering for these boys, they have so much talent and dedication. Loving their vibe and humble sincerity.

Tbh when I heard the beginning of the song, I thought it was good, but it was a bit too soft for my taste, but as soon as the chorus came in I was sold, the chorus is what makes this song as killer as it is. The verses being softer make sense to contrast a bit with the heavier choruses

They have one of the most balanced lineups, distribution of lines, and have a really great group dynamic (they tease each other like mad but its so LOVING). The direction their music has been developing towards is such a treat and props to the production team over the last couple years. "With You" still stays near and dear to mah heart (pls watch their live stage bc Rocky choreographed it that genius)
