PD's comment about how they're the "Power Rangers of Kpop" is really understandable. They create these things that will be memorable to them. I see most people call them "STAYC Girls" instead of STAYC and its mainly because of their tagline. They also make songs that are easy to remember, catchy, yet production wise, is very well done. Also I wanna commend BEP for handling these girls right! He puts a lot of effort and money to them and even fully trust the girls. A very good company with a very good group. They may have come from a small company but their hardwork and individual personalities really paid it off

all stayc's title songs have that super emotional melodic core that lowkey reminds me of trot. i think so bad is still my favorite, but that's just my preference. the song is fabulous, even though it's missing 'stayc girls it's going down'. for me it's a solid 10/10 too.

SLAYC GIRLS!! i really enjoyed this song, the only flaw IMO was not having stayc girls its going down! i feel like i was sorta teaser baited, i really wanted stayc to delve into the hyperpop genre because it would've suited them and been so cute! sieuns high notes were amazing and the song was super cute! i wish the bridge was a little longer and that part was in the song more because the bridge's sound is my favorite part with the beat bounce thing but i still really enjoyed the comeback! i also really wish that the chorus was sung? because they have such amazing voices it would've been so cute anyways STAYC GIRLS SLAYED!! the bsides were also really cute!

Honestly, this song was homage to the debut song, they brought back the expressive emotions & sound. And it’s just a perfect song right next to their first title track that I loved so much.

Someone needs to add "Demon Sneaker Queen" to the list of nicknames on Yoon's namuwiki page ASAP lol

I quite honestly cannot wrap my mind on how could anyone dislike any aspect of this song. This is produced, directed, thought, sang to perfection, pure kpop explosive experience! I heard it more than 20 times yesterday only and cannot get bored of it! Really, what are you smoking?

I can't stop replaying RUN2U and SAME SAME, the whole album is great, and I'm SO proud of them

Honestly I was scared that I was going to hate run2u when I heard the teasers and the album preview but I’m obsessed! It’s not too noisy or hardcore but got a lot of energy and it’s really fun. I think what makes a song sound like a StayC song is honestly the emotion portrayed in the singing and that box is definitely still hit which isn’t something you usually see in this kind of music. Finally, I always appreciate how StayC always does something interesting with their instrumentals and this song is no exception.

"They feel more like an elite unit" this is exactly how I feel about stayc! They're so impressive, and it's so insane considering they're only 1.5 years into their career.

In my opinion, the decision to not include the StayC catchphrase in the intro or even the outro is a good one on BEPs part because it really does not suit the melancholic mood of this song. The catchphrase is very lively and suits So Bad ASAP and Stereotype. It was used on Same Same tho which is a much livelier track in comparison. Run2U may not be an instant hit you need to listen to it more so it grows on you. I feel like the song is a necessary step because they can't always stay on the cutesy concepts as they mature overtime.

we all need to take a moment to absorb the fact of how insanely original stayc has been since second one, and god knows how much I've been waiting for a group like this, to get out of the same sounds kpop has nowadays and make their own bubble with no fear and absolutely pulling it off flawlessly. this song is an easy 10/10 (and people saying its a grower just aren't used to originality 🙈)

08:25 They actually used their sets really wisely. The hallway, in the beginning, is used again in the flower scene but is lit differently and obviously filled to the rafters with flowers, the main door of the garage scene is actually the same location as the glass dome shot and the subway is in the back of the first major dance scene. Obviously, a whole lot of work still went into it all, but the genius to reuse and build upon pre-existing sets adds a nice kind of continuation and harmony to the overall visual of the video.

idk if it's just me, but stayc feel different. they've just got this amazing feel to them, i honestly can see them taking over the world.

Honestly as a Swith, I highly recommend you to listen to "Young Luv" this song is no joke, it deserves a MV. I'm sure 9 out of 10 people would agree to my opinion. Once again, this song is no joke.

usually dont comment much but since this is a fashion related question, i am here to answer hehe the deconstructed adidas shoe yoon was wearing is inspired by the original design of cierra boyd, an american fashion designer. there's been tons of celebrities wearing her corsets, and some kpop idols like everglow also had some pieces

I think what I like so much about this song, even if it isn't my favorite title track from them (So Bad has not yet been dethroned), is that they sing it with so much pathos. Not to bash any other group, but I find that StayC is unique in that they seem to really get in character behind the mic. They bring a sense of longing and desperation to the vocals that I felt even before knowing what they were actually saying.

I was literally tearing up by the first listen. I don't have to listen to it more to love it. It's so funny because more people feel like you, I was feeling like that with asap.😅 And I love the high note, it gives me goosebumps ❤️ And I can't stress enough to say that their beauty should be illegal 😭❤️

run2u is slowly trying to dethrone asap as my favourite title track. this is their strongest era & mini album. all the songs are over 8/10. just god tier all around.

I think another aspect that contributes to Stayc appeal as a group is the easier choreography like it reminds me of early twice choreo because while obviously to look like them you need skill but tbh I can just whip out some of their moves while casually listening doing the dishes. Whereas something like black mamba it’s….. Also it feels like every comeback they get better. Like their dancing, vocals and raps are all improved.

this song is definitely a grower! it took me a few listens to fully understand what I just heard and each listen the song just gets better and better. I think young-luv as an album is such a good album and is so coherent as a whole; its giving 2000s vibes ✨ (i hope you'll have a listening party for it soon hehe) this release is a great start to 2022 for STAYC!!

Ok here I go, I wasn’t a K-pop fan until 2020, I knew some groups like Twice and Blackpink, but I mostly listened to Indie Pop, Hip-Hop, and Alternative music; then, amidst the Pandemic I started watching and listening to lots of groups, now I’m aware of most girl groups and every release, but Stayc was the one that impressed me the most, the title tacks are just the tip of the iceberg, their whole discography is amazing, exquisitely crafted songs in terms of production and vocals, all the songs are just GOOD music and I think non K-Pop fans would enjoy them, they just need a spark to become Globally successful, they got EVERYTHING, talent, visuals, charisma, more people outside Korea need to know about them.

Have to say I wasn’t convinced when I saw the MV for the first time, but the song did grow on me, and now it’s in my head 24/7.

Each member of StayC gets to shine in this M/V. I hope they'll stay true to themselves and get treated right by everyone around them. Among many others, StayC and BEP have helped me rediscover my love for music.

I agree with you that there’s something about them. I got hooked the moment they got out. Their personalities, beauty, production, song choices, dance, etc… it’s hard to describe but whenever I watch them. I feel clean 🧼 probably cleansed lol I have no idea but it’s just what I feel. Everything feels just right with their movements/dance, voices, hairstyle, fashion choice, and more. All I can say is that they’re different and I can’t pin point why except I feel happy and clean. I know it’s weird lol

If you want to hear "STAYC girls, it's going down" you're going to have to listen to the entire album. It's amazing! The song's too slow for the iconic line to sound good. It needs to be used in a song with a faster tempo, so they added it into a b-side. So calm down a bit people...

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this could be my fav stayc song🤭 I DIDNT THINK STEREOTYPE COULD BE BEATEN but ever since release I haven’t been able to stop replaying it... like every hour I go back to it and watch it over n over. That’s how I know I’m RLLY into this song because I rarely get like this with a song! The love- core ish concept is *muahh* chefs kiss and I already loved the mv but after this I’m rlllly freaking out about how pretty it is - the outfits too!!! the actual designer who starter making fashion pieces (corsets) with sneakers is an Afro american Ohio based designer called Cierra Boyd. In a competition she was supposed to make an item without fabric and she made a top with sneakers inspired by a guy on VICE who did a mask with sneakers this was back in 2018 since then slowly ppl started recognizing her ideas
