What impresses me the most about this debut is how well crafted this song is for each of the members voices and how those voices are used throughout the song. There's such an interesting mix of low and high tones, sweet and sultry tones and even melodic and more rap / spoken tones. If the song were a painting it would have an exceptionally gorgeous palette.

I think one of the reasons this debut is perfect is because they let each girls part actually fit her individually. A lot of songs lately you can change the parts and all the members could do all the parts it wouldn’t impact the overall song. These girls are each given her own thing to do her own way and it comes together like a beautiful tapestry.

I'm currently insanely OBSESSED with 'so bad' like I was with '%%', 'gotta go', 'fancy', ' dumhdurum', etc. back in the day. Black Eyed Pilseung are GENIUSES to me!

This is such a well rounded group, there is a mixture of high pitch, clear, silky, mid tone and deep ass voices. And I don’t know why that “StayC” whispered at the start was such a smooth way to progress the intro.

“So Bad” is truly a special song. I’m so excited for STAYC’s career, if they continue to release comebacks of this quality they will be my ults in no time.

J's voice reminds me a bit of Dami, from Dreamcatcher.

So Bad is a cultural reset and so is Like This. They created perfect songs to lift everyone’s mood in 2020 and they truly shared their talent. J and Sumin did amazing in the bridge and showcased their deeper voices perfectly.

Doesn't really feel like a debut, like it's all so well put together it feels like it's a comeback where they're really hitting their stride and killing it. They've set such a high bar and I hope that it's a good thing and they use it as a launchpad as opposed to a very hard act to follow, I hope beyond hope that they succeed, this shit was dope af.

I thought G(idle) and Everglow were the debut queens, but these girls are something else oh my god, they had me at that melancholic and emotional chorus for sure. I already have two bias, Yoon (looks like a fucking ALIEN BARBIE) and J, the younger ones actually.

This debut was Phenomenal. Everything about it was perfect, even the b-side is as addictive as the title. I cant wait to see where they go from here.

StayC was such a surprise. That roster of members was just incredibly formed. A great balance of deep and high voices that gives a certain variation of sound in the song which makes listening all the more worthwhile. This is the main reason as well why i freakin love Bvndit as a group. My favorite debut by a mile but just because Tag Me wasn't really my type of song, and i'm sure there will be people that will love Tag me more than this because they're totally polar opposites in genre and concept which makes it all the more interesting. As a group i think StayC has more well rounded members in terms of Vocals and dance but weeekly has this unparalleled synergy between the members. Both powerhouse rookies leading the charge for 4th gen gg kpop.

Honestly, this debut absolutely blew me away. I didn't expect STAYC to come so hard, and the melody is so addictive, I'm at a loss for words. The song FAR overshadowed the MV for me and it's such a fresh sound for Kpop at the moment -- but somehow it feels nostalgic too? with some late 80s-early 90s vibes, which I'm a huge sucker for. My absolute favorite part has to be the final chorus, it packs a punch that isn't some magnificent crescendo, but a really smooth and wanton delivery that encapsulated the yearning in the song really well without going over the top -- just the right amount of tension. Cingature's debut was going to be my debut GG of the year (not a fan of Weeekly) but man, STAYC came fashionably late to the party and stole the show completely. I'm so excited to see where they go from here.

''So bad'' is like sister to ''Eung Eung'', ''Eung Eung'' is moody, slow, night ''reverb'' kinda vibe and ''So bad'' more ''emotional'' pop song (like a kpop version of something that Carly Rae Jepsen would sing). The first thing I thought when I heard ''So bad'' was ''Eung Eung'' they have similar theme going on - the first 5 sec of each song that is present through out the song. I also like that there was no ''forced'' rapper, all 6 members were memorable for me, especially Yoon, Isa, Sieun (I hope I got their names right), I feel like everyone had time to shine and girls are good match for each other and there are a lot of groups where members aren't really good match. Best debut for me for a VERY long time and FIRST new group I am interested since 2010/2011. Their live is also soooo good, they really ate CDs and most groups don't sing live on debut or even first week of comeback.... or even at all.

Sieun’s voice is amzing. Their debut left me speechless. Everything was amazing. 10/10. Pd FYI member Seeun trained with weekly and would’ve debuted with them. She is the one who sings infront of yellow curten in the first verse

I know they're just starting but these girls have the most potential to become the Nations GG in my opinion in my opinion. Korea loves them, they have a great team producing them, they're amazing performers. The ground is already laid for upcoming success, it's a matter of time

I'm 2 years late to STAYC but the moment I heard this song I was sold. I love the emotion that the song has even when you have no clue about the lyrics, how contagious it is and how it gives me 2nd gen vibes. It sounds like kpop I haven't heard it a while, like it is familiar and I love that! 10/10 in my books

Given that Gotta Go, I’m So Sick, Fancy and Dumhdurum are some of absolute favourite Kpop songs, I’m not surprised this song grabbed me. The chorus is PERFECT, it’s that bittersweet emotional vibe while still being upbeat. Everglow’s BBC will always be my favourite debut but So Bad is really strong and up there. StayC are very polished already and I bet their comeback will be great.

Black Eyed Pilseung’s first-ever kpop group debuted this week. The title track So Bad opens up with drum and bass production. The vocals from the group fit well with the overall vibe. I love how the members sound on this track. The hook isn’t a bad one but feels like it’s missing something in the production, but after hearing the song a lot more I started to love the chorus. Black Eyed Pilseung also produced the debut for this group, and with each listen, I enjoy it more. This is the second song on the single one that opens up with bird sounds. The production does deliver a bit of a trap vibe with some electronic elements. The rapping was on point, working well with the vibe. The hook is where the members deliver some of my favorite vocal moments. This group is easily my favorite debut of the month.

Watching So Bad again gives me goosebumps. This is the very so that got me hooked into listening to Kpop mainly due to J's and Sumin's cool low voice. I mean just listen to her cover of Dua Lipa's song, you'll see J doing what she does best. I used to just occasionally listen to Kpop songs and now I've learned to appreciate Kpop culture.

This song is crazy each member has their own pop song within a pop song. The transitions between them are absolutely flawless throughout the entire track. It's like listening to butter.

The members of the group are very well polished as u said, i could feel their confidence and it’s no just one or two members it’s everyone. their dancing and singing skills are very impressive for a new company, and the SONG! OMGGGG I truly feel u and i’m still blown away, I recommend u to check out their other song “LIKE THIS” it’s also very nice.

I LOVEEE J’s VOICE and the fact that she’s ONLY 15 - i thought she was one of the older members 😭🤍

I actually thought that 2020 females groups were disappointing, I was expecting the female group of the year to be aespa but it was so disappointing, then I listened by luck StayC and MY GOD THIS IS THE SONG, StayC are the rookie queens of this year and I am pretty sure that if enhypen doesn't disappoint me like aespa they will be the rookie kings of this year.

i love sieuns tone so much and my absolute favorite part of all stayc songs is her line in the beginning of the bridge in this song! her delivery is just so good

this song was such a pleasant surprise for me. i think my favorite part of the song was when Sieun, the second girl in the chorus, sang. her voice is so unique and addictive. both her and the other girl in the chorus, Yoon, are very good at creating that squeaky/whiny tone with their voices. for example, when Sieun sings 내 맘이 아파, she slides her pitch up on the 내 syllable and it’s such a small choice but it makes such a big impact on the listening experience. the entire instrumental of the song is very high paced and has a lot of layers, it’s the kind of instrumental that would give you an adrenaline rush. the girls’ voices kind of create the song into a paradox because their tones are all very melancholic at one point or another and that contradicts the feeling of the instrumental. it leaves me confused on how to feel, i’m not happy or sad, but i’m instead left with the feeling that you get when you’re alone in the bathroom at a party if that makes sense? like you were just getting lost in having so much fun and then suddenly everything is muffled and you’re able to hear your own thoughts again. they all have such unique and distinguishable tones and they’re really able to use that to their advantage. it’s an easy 10/10 for me.

I first wanted to stan STAYC only cuz there's Park Sieun the child actress debuting as an idol, but when the mv came out... I WAS CLEARLY SPEECHLESS. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DEBUT IS JUST SO (oml i can't even put it into words). BRUH I'M SERIOUSLY SO OBSESSED WITH 'SO BAD'. ONCE I WATCHED THE MV, THAT WAS IT FOR ME. ONE OF THE BEST DEBUT EVER. I'M STANNING ALL OF THEM, STAN STAYC. PERIODT.

Two producers I think could be considered to be in the “producer privilege”: Black Eyed Pilseung and monotree. You really can’t go wrong with these 2😭
