I saw these parents with that blonde little girl in Target one time. Never knew who they were until now. They were recording their daughter picking out toys, and the father had put down the camera for a second and told the little girl what to say and then picked back up the camera and the girl would repeat it. It was odd to me.

One problem I have with the LaBrant family is their need to vilify Everleigh's biological father every chance they get. They make it seem like he's completely absent and doesn't care about Everleigh at all. In one video they asked Everleigh how she felt about having two dads and she responded with an obviously scripted "One made me and the other one raised me" again making it seem like her biological father isn't involved with her life at all. I found his Instagram a few months ago and he sees his daughter all of the time. They said he only gets to see her supervised -- he sees her alone all the time. She spends time at his house, they go out to dinner, the park, he goes to her dance competitions, he went to her school play *three days in a row* -- but that's an absent father who doesn't care, right? Edit: I understand that he cheated on Savannah and that was wrong. There's never a defense for cheating. However, that does not mean you get to vilify him and keep him from seeing his child.

@@alyssacoles3994 I don't have an issue with him not being in the vids, it's the fact that whenever they talk about him they paint him in a very negative light. He's made his mistakes in life, but that's still Everleigh's father. He doesn't talk about them on his social medias even with people filling up his comments speaking about them and asking questions wanting to hear his side. It's a very personal and delicate situation and I feel like it's something that should be kept off of the Internet.
I'm pretty sure that forcing/pressuring your kids into contributing to your financial gains and therefore ignoring their personal interests and feelings counts as child negligence but I'm no lawyer...

Speaking of the Labrant fam, I heard their "documentary" about ab*rtion is… interesting, to say the least. I haven't watched it but it seems that there are very graphic illustrations (weird choice since their audience must be on the younger side) and some dubious comparisons to ethnic gen*cides. They look like the perfect stock picture family. Family channels are so disturbing… I will never understand why people wanna share intimate family moments with the world, but to each their own- you do you and post that 15,226th picture of your kids. But the problem is when you add money and kids too young to consent to being filmed to the mix imo. Contrary to child actors, they're not protected by labor laws… so essentially parents can just use them as source of revenue, and the kids grow up followed by a camera while their parents buy their ‘dream car’ with their money (DaddyO5). I'm not a psychology major but it doesn't take one to see that it can't be good for their mental well-being. 🤷🏻♀️ *edit:* and yeah I'm sure some of these family channels just keep having babies once the older children grow up. Look at the Stauffer family (known for "rehoming" their adopted son). If it weren't for the controversy they'd probably be having another kid… also good on you on overcoming TB hahaha

My daughter pays my bills by acting in sponsor videos. If u see Everleigh’s channel all her videos are sponsored and in the videos she only plays with those sponsored toys. Honestly they need to get her out of this.

Everleigh’s a beautiful little girl naturally, and I’ve noticed her pictures (and the baby’s) are being heavily edited and potentially photoshopped on their social media. There’s nothing wrong with looking nice, but for their videos at least and on their insta Everleigh’s always super dressed up with her hair perfectly done like she’s a teenager. I hope she doesn’t grow up thinking she has to look perfect all the time.

Overtime with repeated exposure, you begin to believe & even rationalize you know this family like your very own & that they can do no wrong, b/c what you do get to see from them is highly geared to making sure that's the impression you walk away with. It's a form of manipulation & brainwashing at it's core, & it's esp. dangerous for kids b/c they form a false sense of reality & security, & they don't see the content as acting, highly edited, overtly produced & altered in the vlogs. They don't get to see the out takes, cuts, behind the scenes, the scores of people producing their family photo's & content, or the advertising scripts; & b/c it's called a vlog, they believe it to be reality & all true. Children especially fall for the facade, act & then start to form unrealistic & unhealthy attachment to & obsession w/these YT false family's & worship them like gods. Which is evident in the way they swarm any any perceivable negative comment about the family & have an emotionally immature reaction to it, as seen here & elsewhere in the family's SM platforms. Your false sense of security, euphoria you get from watching them & then the blind devotion that develops from that repeated exposure to their content is not real life or rational or healthy. I feel like this is too much, I have been with many kids that have bby siblings. Everleigh is just babysitting the kid, and the parents are in the next room, so if anything happens or she needs help, she can call out to them. I have a cousin that just got a baby brother. He is 8, and his parents let him. carry the kid, he is not a professional so he doesn't hold him properly but the kid gets to bond with his baby brother. Plus we don't know what happens in the LaBrant Fams home other days of the week.
The problem is that she doesn't know how to support a newborn baby's head and her parents didn't bother intervening when they saw the baby's head flopping around. You don't take chances with babies' heads. One wrong move and the baby has a permanent brain injury. It only takes a second.

I know this video is 3 years old, and I'm pretty sure I've watched it multiple times already, but I don't think I've commented, so I'm going to just toss this out into the aether of the infinite RU-vid comments. When I was about 9, my mom would sometimes need to go to the grocery store during the day, like any other mom, but unlike most other moms, she was homeschooling me and my two younger brothers, which meant that she couldn't just go while we were at school. Fortunately, running out for groceries takes about as much time as hitting play on the Lion King and rewinding the vhs (I'm not old, we just didn't throw stuff out that still worked). And since we were doing schoolwork during the morning and early afternoons, taking time out to bum around and watch a movie was something she could trust we would actually sit still and do. But there was another complication, one that actually justified me making this comment: my baby sister. My sister is 8 years younger than me, and since I'm the oldest, I got the responsibility of taking care of the baby when she needed all of the many things babies need. And unlike the LaBrants, my mom decided she wanted my sister to survive the experience. So not only did I know how to take care of a baby, she had me prove to her that I knew how. The idea that you would just leave an infant with a kid who DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING is just 100% child abuse.

Man. My girlfriend of almost 5 years and mother of our child loves this family and has for years. Cannot stand them at all, and I feel bad for the little ones bc I’m not sure how they will like this once’s they’re older. There are at least 4 kids now, and odds are that some of them will not like that they’re parents did these videos, or at least in the depth they went.
