Whenever Pokimane gets criticised she’s like “I just wanna talk to them” as she holds a shotgun.

I feel like the "pokimane is a karen" point is the most accurate. She genuinely believes she can do no wrong and when she believes someone else does wrong she expects everyone to agree when she acts scummy. She's brittle enough to the point that words that vaguely are related to her detractors are banned.

The thing is there are streamers who literally just pull their own streams from twitch and upload them straight to RU-vid and get their entire twitch audience to like that video and comment so they go. "man this RU-vid thing is so simple and easy"

For me the problem is how many people assume its everybody all the time about anything. Some streamers just eat while watching other peoples videos, but not all of them. And blaming a youtuber for he's long upload delays is quite out of touch, most of the cringey easy money cash grabing click baiting videos are from those who upload sometimes multiple times a day... But once again, not all quick makers are bad makers. Don't generalise.

I think streaming and making videos are equally exhausting but with making videos, you need to do a ton of preparations in advance + editing the videos after (unless you have an editor which cuts down the work significantly). In the case of streaming, you need to consistently be live multiple times a week at a set period of time so you can gather loyal viewers. They come for content but stay for consistency. Even if you have past broadcast, it’s rare for people to actually wanna watch more than 5 mins of your past streams. That means for live streamers, even if you don’t feel like it, you need to force yourself to stick to your schedule (same standards applies to show /anime reactors). For RU-vidrs, I have seen RU-vidrs gain a ton of subs for the quality content they make. While the prep is a LOT more work than streaming, some RU-vidrs can still make it big even if they post once or twice a month. So I guess it really depends on your circumstances.

It’s sad RU-vid is basically cutting Andrei’s salary because people reporting his videos for reasons not related to the report/flag. RU-vid really needs to work on reviewing reported videos because this is really upsetting to me. I don’t have time to pay attention to current social media drama so I watch every video Andrei makes to keep up with it but hearing that he’s apart of the pool of RU-vidrs struggling to get monetized is Bullshit.

I was watching the Fedmyster issue unfold and one thing that caught my eye was the messages between Lily and Fed about how perplexed Poki was with this video. This video wasn't a hit piece, it was simply explaining the issue that happened as well as pointing out the abuse of Copyright Claim from her end to nuke anything she dislikes. The fact that this video made her so pissed is gold.

RU-vid is harder (believe me, I know) because you have to record the content and then get the facecam recording of your reaction and set that up on OBS or any video recording software. I may have said that wrong correct me if I have. I'm sorry for typing a whole essay but I like stating my opinion, and everyone can state their own opinion. And I can see why you take a while to upload, the animations, transitions, effects, texts on the screen, and more. I understand how long it takes too upload and I know.
