Indeed. The adult would be the largest JP or JW carnivorous dino, but because it never achieves this adult size before its death, this position goes to giga
@@abadgamer6715 A fully grown Indominus would be 6.7 meters, or 21 feet tall, and measure at nearly 17 meters, just over 55 feet. Its weight is unknown.
Kinda wish the giga got more screen time, but i love how it looks like the dinos from the first movie or 2. Still looks amazing, and I enjoyed the story they were telling in jurrassic world 3.
They just tried to make the Giganonosaurs look like a across between the Indominous and Spinosaurus to try & make it look cooler but it honestly doesn't & it just confuses a lot of fans because they gave it protruding back spines which it doesn't even actually have in real life
@@simplescouttrooper9359 Nah, if we go by actual plot, characters, etc, JP3 is the worst of the original trilogy. Many people like 3 because of Grant, and that is still valid. Imo though, it is the weaker piece of media. Personally, I think Fallen Kingdom and Dominion are worse than all the OG JP films, but that World is about on par with TLW.
Spino is a male and it’s also called the largest carnivore in camp Cretaceous. The size the animator of the show gave was 19ft tall and 54-55ft long so it is bigger than the giga but idk if it’s heavier which would make the giga bigger in that aspect if it’s not then the biggest as an adult is the indom at 21ft tall and 55ft long
Indominus rex is confirmed to be the largest theropod in all of the movies. It was designed to be 50’ in length but Claire stated that “it’s bigger than expected”
When it comes to live action the giganotosaurus is in fact the largest but there may be a carnivore from an animated series rivaling it in size. The Asset 87 spinosaurus from JP3 is seen a second time in the franchise, & it is even bigger than it’s previous appearance on screen. Camp Cretaceous’ spinosaurus is quite possibly larger than JWD’s giganotosaurus when estimating their sizes.
The Spinosaurus was actually 19 feet tall and 55 feet long, the Giganotosaurus was 20.6 feet tall and 51 feet long, the adult Indominus was 22 feet tall and 55 feet long, and Rexy in JP1 was 20 feet tall and 49 feet long.
Camp Cretaceous never gave official sizes. The live action movies are inconsistent with sizes through the scenes, how are we gonna take a cartoon estimate? The only reference we have is big eatie next to spino, and no T.rex measures up to Roberta(rexy) Spino is still the same size as jp3, giganotosaurus is the biggest
I thought giga was 11+ tons, but it is 20ft tall as stated in the animatronics behind the scenes video, pretty insane when you think about it doesn’t have a sail Prologue made Giga put to be a force to be reckoned with. Sucks the rest of the movie didn’t do it justice
Size is not compared by height and length, because there is it's width too. It is measured by weight, in which case CC spinosaurus was 7-8 tons according to the Jurassic Park Wiki. And giganotosaurus was 9 tons.
Some kid said giga is the biggest carnivores in whole franchise 😂😂 See kids who is big. SPINO:23 feet in height and 55 to 56 feet in length and weights 10 or 10+ tons. INDO:22 feet in height and 55.7 in length and weights 9 tons. GIGA:18.1 feet in height and 51 feet in length and weights 9 tons. REXY:18 feet in height and 44.7 feet in length and weights 8 tons. BIG EATIE:18 feet in height and 44 feet in length and weights 8 tons.
@@Sharknerd04giga is 9 ton boy check the official size ok and it's height isn't 18 feet , it depends on its standing position because in one scene he is much taller than big e.
Jurassic Park dinosaur sizes are weird since if you watch the ‘making of’ of any of the films, the sizes given by the production team are usually different from the “official” sizes. Spinosaurus was confirmed to be the biggest at around 60 ft in length. Jack Horner, the scientist who was a consultant, confirmed this in JP3 behind the scenes. And when you watch the movie. Spinosaurus looks bigger. But hey, I get that wanted a new terrifying meat eater in the last film. Giganotosaurus is pretty cool!
It’s crazy that the sizes are actually decently accurate at least for average length estimates and maximum height and weight estimates. Except for the giganotosaurus of course
Fun fact:the indominus Rex was only a teenager in Jurassic world and as an adult it would be about the size of 2 sorna stegos stacked up each other or 1 rexy and one quarter of rexy
@@OhioDudeIsNormal ……. They don’t mention the meg on this list, and sharks are even further away from dinosaurs than mososaur, which was at least still a reptile. What point are you trying to make?😅
I always found it interesting that the three biggest theropods have different lifestyles. The Rex was mostly a solo hunter the giga is a pack hunter and the spino being the paleontologist most hated dinosaur.
@@Max_attack1234 T.rex, giganotosaurus, mapusaurus etc were not pack hunters. If T.rex was a social animal, it wouldn't have packed. Most likely like a loose gang or mob mentality. We have no actual evidence for giga's social behaviour. Its only that its cousin, mapusaurus, was found in a bone bed consisting of several individuals of the same growth stages. This likely means a loose gang. Basically they were like a mob, or like komodo dragons, instead of wolves, which cooperate in a pack.
@@Maip_Macrothorax ok sorry, the only real evidence we have are is that albertosaurus grave, and the three t.rex footprints walking together. However I feel when ANYTHING ever comes up about pack hunting with theropods everyone just says “oh it’s just mob behavior” every time! Not one of those times is it an actual pack!!!! (Most of those probably were mobs, however I don’t want to rule out pack hunting, as dinosaurs lived for a long time and I am CERTAIN there would have been many examples of pack hunting dinosaurs)
With the Indominus, sure, 100%. She had too much plot armor, as did Blue. But for the Giga? The film does a crap job of that. A Giganotosaurus would be very hard pressed to outcompete a Tyrannosaurus in any context other than length.
Kinda more complicated than that Spino. Size was 18-20 ft tall and 49-52 ft long weight wise it varies from 4-23 tons depending on what your reading from
Well, the giganotosaurus in dominion was heavily sized up for the sake of the movie, in real life a fully grown giganotosaurs would probably reach between 13 and 14 meters in lenght. About as long or mayby a bit longer than the t rex, but in overall body mass the t rex was clearly larger and probably even larger than the spinosaurus
This dinosaur channel makes me want to play fossil fighters champions again cuz a lot of the dinosaurs mentioned appear in that game and make me feel nostalgic
I believe in canon just some research I. Rex 22ft tall 55FT long Spino 16ft (20 with sail) tall & 46ft long Giga 18ft tall and 51ft long Female ingen T. Rexs (Rexy/doe) 17ft tall and 44 ft long Male ingen T. Rex (TLW) 17ft tall and 40ft long JP3 Rex 14’6 tall and 37ft long.
Roberta was Chosen for the original Park because of the Original SIX TYRANNOSAURUS bread for Jurassic Park she was the Largest. Still One of the Original SIX is not Accounted for, speculation is that it's the Big one that Eric from JP3 Gets the Jar of Urine From.
The CC spinosaurus was actually the same spinosaurus from JP3, taken to Mantah Corp Island. And this guy did mention the size of the CC spinosaurus, not from JP3 (as he said "largest spinosaurus").
Glen McIntosh confirmed the giga is 6.5 meters tall (excluding the osteoderms), 18.5 meters long and 13.61 tonnes (15 US tons) Rexy was 6.2 meters tall, 14 meters long and 9.6 tonnes (10.5 US tons) Spino was 5.7 meters tall, 16.4 meters long and 10 tons Indom is 6.7 meters tall, 16.9 meters long and the weight is everywhere but at best she's around 8-9 tons (it's possible to get her lighter or heavier but 8 is the safest imo)
Where’s the weight for the Spino? Also unless rexy is reared all the way up and has a hunch back ain’t no way she’s 6.2 meters tall, at her prime she wasn’t even 5.8 meters
Ngl when i seen that one seen where the people are running thru the grass while being chased by the spino it reminded me of that one scene from jw where the 2 kids jump off the water fall after running in grass to escape the irex
No indominus rex 13.1 - 16.9 m mais dans le film c’c'est 15,25 m pour 10 tonnes peut-etre et pour le spinosaurus jp 13.5 - 15.5 m pour 5 - 7 m de hauteur pour une masse de 10 tonnes environ
The Indominus Rex was Bigger than the Trex! Or at least at fully grown. Meaning, she wasn’t fully grown by the time she fought Rexy or when she was killed!
Okay, so this is a long story but I have done the research on this for the sake of an argument (yes I am that petty). The spinosaurus in camp cretacious has been mentioned to be bigger and with the jurassic world website saying that he was above 50 feet(before the site was updated for dominion). I had to find it using the wayback machine, so that was fun.
I have to put on safe search every time I search up a few specific dinosaurs from Jurassic Park because some people on the internet because some people are just really… weird…
