@@georgebarnes8163BUT I BET THAT THEIR TOUR GUIDES CAN READ ENGLISH - OR - THEY CAN ASK SOMEONE ELSE WHAT THE SIGNS SAY SO THEY WILL KNOW FOR SURE WHAT THEY SAY BEFORE THEY APPROACH THE HORSES AND THE GUARDS !!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ !!!!!!
@@georgebarnes8163they should know out of common curtesy and respect. This is a soldier on duty. All they have to do is watch how other people are behaving. They’re either stupid or disrespectful.
These are not the Problem of the Guards and the Horses. This is the Problem of the ignorant People. Wenn i go to China, i had to be known all the Regulation for Tourists. If go to Singapor my Chewing Gum can bring me to the Jail. So please change the Rules in UK. The People are not able to Touch Guards or Horses. Please install high fences to Save them against Dummies. (People without brain)😊
This is a great horse & guard combo.. the guard is polite but firm & he knows the horse will bite.. it’s lovely to see he cares for the children especially when he moved the horse away to prevent them being hurt.. it’s a shame the parents don’t have enough common sense to watch how the horse reacts before sending their kids in for photos .. 🙄
@@Sandra-Gibora No you’re wrong they are mounted police capable of doing crowd control and EVERYTHING a plainclothes officer can do Don’t think they’re some kind of ornament
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Why would you pet a military horse on active duty, it is safer to pet a tank, it cannot kick or bite you 😂 Respect to the Kings guard and their horsemanship from Denmark 👍
Watching this, and watching just how patient both horse and guard were simply astounds me,you can see the excellence in training. They have done their station and the King proud.
I was going to say the same thing.. they should all tell them not to touch the horses.. they are doing a job.. much like service dogs are not to be touched.
As long as you respect the horses space they will respect your presence. All space within the arch belongs to the horse and Guard. Keep your body out of it.
Ugh! As if the guards don't have enough to do, now they are babysitters, as parents send their small children up by themselves to get a picture under this huge horse! That woman shouldn't have been so close to the horse and she would have been fine! Why do people insist on hanging on these horses and mauling them? They aren't pets! They are military horses, and there is no need to pet them in order to get a picture! Thank you Abdullah for another great video! Thanks for all the videos you provided while the horse guard was shut down as well.
People should not be allowed close up to those horses and there should be notices displayed as its a danger to adults and also children.people should not be allowed near any people queen or no queen ..king or no king its a serious danger to people and children.a new law should read no photos taken near the horses ....before aserious accident really happens.king or no king.they are not Allowed photos near thise horses.so the rules should now be changed before someone or a child is serious hurt From sim
A CHILD IS "SOMEONE" !!!! THEY ARE NOT A DIFFERENT BEING THAN ADULTS ARE !!!! THEY ARE SMALLER THAN ADULTS ARE , BUT THEY ARE PEOPLE WHICH ARE INCLUDED IN THE "SOMEONE" CATEGORY !!!!!!!!!!! JUST SO YOU KNOW THIS FOR THE FUTURE WHEN YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT "SOMEONE" - PLEASE INCLUDE CHILDREN IN THE SAME CATEGORY WHEN YOU ARE SAYING "SOMEONE" BECAUSE THEY AREN'T OF A DIFFERENT SPECIES THAN YOU ARE ! THEY ARE PEOPLE - JUST LIKE YOU ARE - "SOMEONE" !!!!! NOT "SOMEONE" AND THEN "CHILDREN" !!!!!!!!!!!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I think they should keep the barriers up around the horses and along the front to keep people away from the Kings guard and horses. Some people seem to think it's a show put on just for them.
Its Jaws!! I love this horse, he is absolutely stunning! Good for this officer! They should all shoe the tourists away. Some of these people seem to have less sense than a billy goat, screeching, forcing scared children to get close, sprinting towards the guards/horses for a photo as if they are going somewhere 🤨 and continuing to mess with the horses when some make it very clear they don't like it. I wish they would just tell everyone no closer than 2 or even 3 feet from the box. Many of the horses get so stressed with the crowds and noise it makes me sad.
@@kathellison8084soo at least there should be sign : do not touch-pet horse not just the sign what’s on left hand side be aware horse can bite😂 but people should keep distance from horse and show respect!
You can pet the horse!! Leave the reins alone, and do not stress the horse out!! Guards man has a right to yell, the horse has every right to bite and kick!! That is why the sign is up! Have respect
@@georgebarnes8163 Most foreign nations are taught the English language, and yes,I can actually, German, some Japanese and Spanish, and enough to know what big red letters with an exclamation point means.
The guard shook his head when the one guy reached to touch the horse. Guard knows this horse isn’t in the mood to “entertain”. There should be a velvet rope stachion like banks have to maintain safe distance and define a do not enter area. Then events like 11:07 wouldn’t happen. All these crowds I would not be able to tolerate it. These are guard horses not photography models.
A rope for a horse to get caught up in it it became spooked ? Not a good idea ! They are on a public footpath in Whitehall under Westminster council not MOD .
It’s the British Government and Royal family that continue to allow this. This is a tourist attraction. No one wants to admit it, it’s equivalent to taking your picture with Mickey and Minnie.
@@annesand7157it’s nothing like Mickey mouse. This tradition is hundreds of years old. They are active soldiers in one of the guards regiments. It is their duty to protect the King and the barracks. Are you American by any chance as you have no understanding of our traditions and culture.
You can see the horse has had enough of the idiots and is desperate to have a bite! I think these horses and guards have done more than their duty to Horse guards parade I think it is time they are back at their own stables and doing what they should be
So true. It's not a petting zoo. These horses aren't trained for nothing. They are a serving member of the HM Forces. But why should they care so long as they get their turn !!
The mounted King's Guard is there to guard the site which is also a working barracks. Maybe these entitled tourists would get that if total strangers randomly trespassed and goofed around their workplace.
@@georgebarnes8163 there is such a thing as a translation app and also tourist guides. Tourist’s do have a responsibility to respect the customs and traditions of the Country they chose to visit.
People make me sick the way they crowd the horse and soldier constantly. There is only so much they can take and there are signs that warn them but they don’t seem to get it. It is not a petting zoo these are highly trained military soldiers and their horses. I really do not think that any member of the public should be within touching distance of soldier or horse, there should be barriers in place and CCTV placed in the sentry boxes to instantly stop this type of abuse by crazy individuals who think they have a right to do whatever they want to these brave soldiers and wonderful horses. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love this horse. Also need a framed print of him looking straight into the camera with his ears sideways and his tongue sticking out. 😂😂😂❤❤❤. So cute! Yes, even a military horse can be cute, as well as majestic and beautiful and all those things.
Having been around horses from an early age, I am always on guard around horses. And these horses are very healthy, fed well, and have plenty of energy and intelligence. This is how horses interact. Get used to it. This is a teachable moment to teach children how to act around animals. Respect, be calm, and on guard.
I've always wanted to visit the UK. So much history with the royal family. But this seems so overcrowded. Is there a less tourist area that you can enjoy without being elbow to elbow?
I'm sick and fed up of seeing these idiots being allowed to be so close to the horses anyway!. Those poor horses are bored to tears, and people should be stopped from getting so near!.
Nobody thinks about the poor horse standing there without walking getting stiff, can’t tell it’s getting tired? Moving its head ❤ 🐎 Should the government use a hard wood or another material horse 🐴 ??
This horse is a known nipper as is Ormonde. Some Horses like having a pat and some don't, people need to understand boundaries and learn to have some respect.
Guard keeps moving reings left and right away from the ppl so he can't bite them if they get too close. He is very high ranked & very experienced. Kudos.
That horse is beautiful and handled well. The poor guardsman was actually very kind. I can only imagine what he thinks. The horse appears curious and is listening but seems a bit bored...and some people have no common sense 😊😊😊
Those wooden signs are short of useless as a good proportion of the visitors that attend do not speak English let alone READ it , there should be universal visual signs on both walls of the Sentry Box to clearly show not to touch the horse or Guard.
Well as they all cling to their smart phones like their lives depend on it why not use Google translate also that's what it is for No excuse not to understand the signs
I think the horse shows remarkable patience with all those people crowding around, people are very inconsiderate when it comes to things like this having you pic made is ok but give the animal his safe space.
No one should be touching the horses, and people should keep their distance from the horse too.. it's like invading the personal space for the horse and the King's Guard..
The guard does know his horse the best, from relaxed to anxious, you all may want to heed his warnings or plan to get hurt. Him tossing his head back constantly is a good indicator, these beautiful creatures have feelings too ppl ❤
people you are invading his personal space! How would you react if a stranger walked up so close and started taking pictures? worse still they are touching do you want to be touched on your face by strangers?
