I bet the people those creatures take get turned into those armoured figures that are seen roaming about, guarding the place. "The Last Guardian" is the boy, not the beast.

Do you mean at the 9.00 mark? If so the kid calls Trico who jumps in the water which creates a bow wave that raises the level of the water for a moment allowing the kid to climb up on to the ledge and pull the lever....hope that helps..

I've spent 30 minutes trying to get that fucker to dive and after I've finally done it, he just stares at the gate (WHICH ARE FUCKING OPEN BY THE WAY) and then he just goes back up. And that happens MULTIPLE TIMES. Is my game fucking broken?

Is worth the amount of money you want to spend on it. Just saying I didn't pay a penny for playing kingdom hearts, but I did for FF XIII. Is that makes a game better than the other one? No is just preferences, also the fucking trico makes me mad, but controls are like that to show us how vulnerable is a child, they don't have to be the perfect control, it have to be and it is imperfect cause they wanted, but the beast some times act like is a fucking ubisoft assassins's creed bug.

After the water thing there are even more scenes where Trico is acting up, but luckily I've gone past them, beaten the game and I'm satisfied with how it all ended.

Trico? He's supposed to be uncontrollable. It's built into the AI that Trico is supposed to be as animalistic as possible; animals are not computers that do exactly what you tell them first time every time. Trico was also programmed to adjust personality to how you play. If you're having trouble, maybe pet the poor thing that's taking spears for ya.
