I know it's hard to believe Sith, but season 3 is even better than 2, it's a couple of episodes longer too

E Cording I don’t think so. Season 3 is really good but I didn’t like the changes that they made from the books. I haven’t even read the books but I know a few things that happen in them, and if they followed them for Season 3, it would’ve been a much better season in my opinion.

Alan I’ve only spoken about The Last Kingdom on reactions to the series or videos about the show itself. I don’t just randomly bring up The Last Kingdom and hate on it for no reason lol. I just prefer Season 2 to 3. What’s wrong with that? Lol. The Last Kingdom is actually in my top 5 favourite series of all time. If Season 4 ends up being amazing and a Season 5 is someday produced which is just as good as Season 2 for example, The Last Kingdom would then be my favourite series of all time. Only reason for why The Last Kingdom and Vikings can’t properly be compared is because of the difference in episodes made. Vikings has had 69 episodes whereas The Last Kingdom only 26. If you’re here to compare the shows first 3 seasons, Vikings is superior. And again, just because you think Season 3 is the best season doesn’t mean I do too. I clearly said myself that it was a great season but just more inconsistent than Season 2. Every Season of a show will have its ups and downs and I just found that Season 3’s downs were more noticeable. I’m hoping Season 4 maintains the high quality and I can’t wait for it.

Alan How is Skade and Yidu similar in any way? Lol. I haven’t hated on The Last Kingdom, that’s where you’re wrong. I’ve just said what I haven’t liked in a particular season, and I think there’s more negatives in Season 3 than in Season 2. I’ve praised 5b of Vikings because I enjoyed it but have I ever stated that it’s better than Season 2 or 3 of The Last Kingdom? No. And I already said to you why I think Torvi and Judith aren’t as badly written as Skade. Skade had potential from the first episode of Season 3 but then by the end of it, I practically disliked everything about the character. Her storylines were awful in my opinion. Judith is most definitely not as bad as Skade and Torvi just doesn’t get enough screen time for me to hate on her lol.

TLK is that rare show that gets better & better each season. Can't even choose which season I like best, they all have kickass stories & interesting characters. I really REALLY loved the Siegfried + Erik & Aethelflaed stuff, OMG. You'll enjoy S3. It's equal to S2 if not better. I give it a thumb up because I like it. Also because your laugh is hilarious

It was deep when Sigfrid helped Erik pick up his weapon to enter Valhalla despite what happened, real love right there plus he knew that Erik really genuinely cared for her

Just like the expanse the 3rd season is the best in the series. You can see that everyone involved has more experience in making the show wich means the quality shoots up even though they had a smaller budget.

I’ve been a bit inactive but I just caught up on your reactions for The Last Kingdom. Season 2 is my favourite. The first half of season 2 is better than the second half, but it’s still a great season of television. Season 2 is a lot more consistent than season 3 but season 3 is also very good. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m not really a big fan of Aethelflaed. I wasn’t really fond of her and Erik’s relationship. Erik and Siegfried are probably my favourite “Viking” characters in the show though. Great reaction. Season 3 has some fantastic moments and I’m interested to see if you like it more than season 2.

cant believe they killed off clapa. i had a feeling eric would die though, they were never gonna let them have a happy ending. hopefully, alfred's daughter doesnt take more crap from that wastemen aetherlred. and as always uthred and the real men wont get credit :/ alfred is lowkey the bigget villain in his hunt to creat an england and be king of kings aka bretwalda :P

Alfred is an arsehole, same with his wife. She just uses Christianity as a shield to use against the people she hates (uthred), but she throws away that shield whenever she’s in trouble. Both her and Alfred are ungrateful to what Uthred did for them.

I am so effing pissed they killed off Odda and Erik!!! Effing A you can’t get attached to any damn character anymore. Great ending to a really really solid season and a top quality finale. Poor Clapa was just rage bait. And effing Aethelred is still alive dammit! Really getting tired of Alfred. He was a total douche this episode. Such a great character but he drives me friggin mental. Erik would’ve made a great Danish ally. Friggin A man PS- love how you call him Aethel-dick-head. Lol

The problem is aethelwold meant a fyrd to raise himself (pushing himself to become king) but odda gets the idea that he, who has a fyrd, can/will raise it, as aethelwold says. So aethewold is basicly giving him a push out the door

How does Heasten keep surviving,Kinda loved Dagfinn(but that might because of my nationality) Kind of disappointed in Aethelflead , and especially Uthred later on...Do hope that Alfwynn knows,she has to....... loved the brothers, i really like the close friendship is seem to have giving Bjørn & Christian sigefried was ready to join him,but Siegfried did it in true viking style to go to valhal and making Erik sure to go to by grabing his hand around his sword...Gotta miss the lord of chaos even trough how the storyline turned out,are the season still your favorite? i loved that the changed the ending of the storyline with athelflead,but i really hate uthred in season 3 or 4 i dont remember,because he talks about Erik and then kind of brotrayed him and the respect he had for Erik or something like that.
