To be fair to the writers they gave Haestan an actual character arc, despite always backstabbing people to save himself, in his last moments he chose to be loyal and it got him killed.

Notice how the Finan actor (Mark Rowley) spoke in his natural Scottish accent when he was pretending to be one of Constantin's guards? So a Scot playing an Irish man playing a Scot...lol.
