The Last of us 2 is as popular as ever, and with its recent remaster (The Last Of Us Part II Remastered), it has for sure been on fans' radar. The $10 remastered upgrade gave us some extra items including a roguelike mode called ‘No Return’. The Last Of Us No Return features a brand new journey that you can take, choosing one of ten characters from the mainline game. Hopefully, we get a co-op mode, or characters from the first game in a future update!

People don’t like this mode? Personally i find it very fun. My only complaint is that tommy and joel cant dodge, and everyone else can, when there’s 5 enemies on you, you’re definitely dead 😭

To give Naughty Dog some credit they do not own Crash. They created the franchise but never owned the IP. It was owned by Universal Studios and they sold it to Activision. Jak and Dax however they have abandoned that 😂

I love Lev mainly cuz of the explosive arrows. If enemies spawn together you can cancel a bunch with an arrow from a distance and its so satisfying

I fucking cried when Jesse opened the safe and Ellie’s face was there. I have to agree on the cooperative mode though, absolutely think Uncharted’s collection and this game could use a cooperative mode. Hopefully something will happen now that LOU II is heading for PC! Thanks for the video!

BTW shotguns and Rifles. Aim for the juicy legs it will one shot most enemies easily. In fact it's more lethal that way since damage is more "realistic" towards enemies. It also worked in the TLOU Part 1, enemies go down a lot more quicker shotgun/rifles aiming at the legs than the head.

yk even though i haven’t even remotely played the story mode yet for more than a hour , i bought the upgrade 3 days ago and i have 50 hours already on the mode alone … the game works really well with a battle mode like this , honestly feels weird it was never in any of the titles already

Okay so here's a tip I can't live without: enable gyro while aiming - that little bit of helpful fine tuning goes a long way. Also, regarding the $10 upgrade's true value, the No Return mode is made possible by just one of the things unique to 9th gen consoles: NVMe load times. The real meat of the upgrade isn't the performance/fidelity modes; that was already possible with just the PS4 version's code. LOD biases are adjusted so distant objects don't pop in so drastically as before, and high-quality assets can be called upon faster, but the most important change is how performance/fidelity targets account for another 9th gen feature: variable refresh rate. While the fidelity mode targets (and strongly maintains) native 4k, the framerate is uncapped, always running as high as possible with smooth descents under load. Alternatively (if your TV doesn't support VRR but is 120Hz), fidelity mode can hold a 40fps target as a nice middle-ground. Fidelity mode's unlocked framerate with VRR is where PS5 games really shine though.

Also I hated Ellie’s original model so I really like the remake of Part 1. She looked like an alien, or wonky Ai generated anime character.

I really liked this, but felt it definitely could’ve been more fleshed out. Runs get pretty repetitive at times, so a dedicated and larger home base (other than the one room you start in) that could be used for other side activities would’ve been nice, like a shooting range or something to just change the pace. I also really wanted there to be more skins for characters and weapons. Ellie and Abby get some great new costumes to wear, but everybody else just gets a variation of clothes they wore in the base game. It would’ve been interesting to see everyone get cool 80’s inspired themes like Abby, or savage starlight outfits like Ellie.

I actually prefer playing as Joel and Tommy the most too. I don’t really miss the dodge mechanic as I could never get the timing of it right, so the ability to just land punch after punch without being stunned as Joel is better for me. That, and his amazing 12-shot revolver just makes me win almost every No Return game.

I really like Abby, for 2 reasons. 1: she’s my favorite character in the main game’s story, and 2: I really hate constant reliance on stealth. You can just plow through enemies if you have the resources.

I got the game from my friend so upgrading was basically me buying the game for 10$. Aside from the roguelike mode, the load times on the ps5 version are way better so it's a good value.

I find Joel and Tommy difficult to play with infected because one of the main features of the second part is your character now being able to dodge and you will be punished based on dodging with if you get hit once by an infected, you can dodge out, but with Joel, half the time I feel like I just get stun-locked and it doesn’t balance well when Joel only gets 25% resistance against attacks. So you could guess the anger I felt when I killed the bloater boss on a daily run, got stun locked and a clicker just grabbed me, failing with the last few enemies

I’m so happy that TLOU has a rogue-mode, because it allows me to just have a bunch of fun with the combat and everything. But yeah, it definitely feels half-baked from what i’ve seen. I have a bad feeling that they saw GOW’s rogue-mode, and scrapped the multiplayer just to throw one together. But I hope i’m wrong

Hey, just wanted to let you know that there is a toggle slomo mode and a mode that turns items yellow, enemies red and allies and player blue. Also toggle. Look in options and use for harder parts. You may need a bit of help with aiming it’s looks like :p

Aside of the whole mess and drama. I geniuly do wonder what happened to the Faction game mode. Or at least let this gamemode be Coop available Ghost of Tsushima manage to get a multiplayer part,even launch it separately if one is only interested in that. I wonder if it was development hell that was decided to be ended or something else. I doubt it was because lack of demand by the public,because I am 99% sure there is a public for Factions Also,out of topic,but I love Abby gets heal with melee defeats.
