The last southbound CalTrain F40 departs King Street 

We are at King Street Station in San Francisco, where, based on the old schedule (prior to the new revised schedule taking effect 9/21/2024), we see CalTrain Train 144, the local to San Jose Diridon. Train 144 was the last passenger train pulled by an F40 to depart south out of King Street Station. This train was pulled by F40PH-2CAT 908 "Redwood City" and had four Gallery Cars, with cab car 4015 bringing up the markers. The F40's are to be replaced by brand new Stadler KISS EMU's, which are being put into full service over the next two days. Enjoy the view of the last F40 out of San Francisco.
