The light bleed through looks very spooky. It definitely adds a nice touch to it.

I like the light bleed. It looks great on my little pumpkin house (Lemax Spooky Town) with the beware of the cat sign. Sorry I forgot the name of that one and it is in one of tens of tubs right now. Thank you for sharing with lucky us, Doug!

I like this one, and noticed in many postings that the light bleeds through the walls. Knowing Lemax could have prevented that if they wanted, and that there are really only two small openings in the front, I think it was planned....for better or for worse. Imagine if it was completely dark except for those two slits. I think that would look even worse. I think it would have done better with more of an opening allowing light to shine on Ol' Joe.

I bought this from Haunters Nation and it came with the standard incandescent bulb and cord. Mine doesn’t have the light bleed that yours have and I wonder if that has to do with the LED. I have considered changing to an orange bulb or a flicker flame bulb. I wonder if Michaels is the only retailer getting these with the Moonlander bulbs. I do like the way the moonlanders fit into the hole and then you could use the 3 cord adapter. The bad part is I don’t think you can swap out LED bulbs for different colors on a moonlander whereas the traditional cord just takes a C7 light. I do like that the moonlanders are starting to come in black though. What are your thoughts on Moonlander versus regular C7 bulbs?

I have this one and I'm mixed. A+ on theming and paint. D on lighting. The bulb light should never bleed through the walls unrealistically in my opinion. Not lighting up the scarecrow is also a fail. Looks great during the day and the price is right.

Love this one too. I also thought it was part of the smaller lineup. How many are there in the small lineup? 3? I do like that the walls light up, it gives it a paranormal effect that there is something so bright inside that light is shining throughout :) Edit: There are 4 in the small lineup. I just found the 4th I was missing - Witch's cottage to go with the Ghost Cottage, Pumpkin Cottage and Skeleton Cottage.

This is the only house I planned to purchased this year. Will work perfectly in my pumpkin patch village. The lighting could be better but otherwise I really like it. I am glad to see this review. That backdrop looks great with it also

Go's quick starting empty my display room waitng on some other building to show and send my Last on the left to Derek (Randon Junk) for a mototr replair
