And in more recent years Bethlites have to take a "vow of poverty". Yet there is a clause that individuals can be excused from the vow if 'approved'. One guy at headquarters worked high up in Swiss international bank UBS for 30 years. He is helping the org form investment management firms in Ireland. You think he might have been 'excused' from the "vow of poverty"? Another one working on that is a PHD who gives talks at universities. Yet the rank and file must remain plebs to work for the borg.

Excellent job Phil. It's crazy how these men have sponged off JWs for decades. I would still count the time they were special pioneers as they were likely being supported with housing costs and food etc not to mention the support they would get from publishers.

Would this be public information? *did Geoffrey Jackson just say he was offered a scholarship at 15 years old when he left a school in Tasmania and had not even formally graduated from high school? The printed article says "Would I accept a scholarship to university?" It doesn't actually say that he was offered a scholarship? Then Mark Sanderson uses the same verbiage and says he made a decision to 'turn down that scholarship and give up university.'

What does it matter that its decades since they held jobs. Would you want to live like them? Its not like they are rich and live in big homes driving big cars wear expensive clothes, etc. They may have a nice apartment some ill fitting cheap clothes, get to fly around etc... but I love to make money and drive around my AMG.
