Welcome! I was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 30 years, before eventually leaving. I was a second generation Witness, ministerial servant, regular pioneer, and spent the final part of my JW career in a foreign language congregation (Spanish). On this channel, I talk about a variety of topics having to do with the religion.
I named the channel The Blue Envelope because we talk about things which aren't always common knowledge. Special blue envelopes were used by congregations to send reports of judicial committees to Watchtower headquarters. The distinct color ensured that women working in Bethel mailrooms wouldn't open the correspondence. Service Department eyes only!

Are you apostate or JW ? Because I notice you always reported negative things about JW.thats why I don't want to be influenced by. Yours rebellious like Adam & Eve.definitely JW organization is the only pure & chaste organization.And Jehovah God is only.one true God 1:09 1:09

All religious cults have rules on what you can and can not wear. And then as the years go by they change the rules. In the jw religion it depended on the congrgation.Some were stricter than others.I wore ties with my dresses and skirts one inch above the knees and noone said anything. In these situations they didnt rat on you because they thought that you would rat on them for breaking the rules.
Simone Liebster wrote a book "facing the lions" she explains that Alsace france flipped between german and french control multiple times between both world wars.
I had no idea the founders of these religious groups were so young. GREAT reminder that with conviction does not necessarily come wisdom, and following teenagers is probably not a wise path. Lesson learned!

JW is a cult. It's followers undergo a continuing process of brainwashing. There is a life of supervision by cult elders. A vile world of control, an independent life of self determination is impossible as a JW. Almost every country in the world, but excluding Communist China and Russia, have been infected by JW.
the JW Ministry are reading the writing on the wall particularly the wall in Norway. They can see that if they dont give at least the appearance of "easing up" the human tights violations in regards to shunning and being able to leave a religion without creating psychological issues might get out of control. Of course one major religion does this as well in an even worse way namely the muslims in terms of their "honour murders" and such like. I dont see too many complaints about " human rights " abuses being discussed on that. Maybe thats because the muslins will come after you in vengence.
