Fun fact: There is a very obscure but very awesome idea in progress called "Decaying World" and it's apparently a fangame of Decaying Winter. However, it's in very slow development and may not be playable for a very long time. Just wanted to let y'all know because it would be amazing to see support of it.
Btw nol just in case u didn’t know they added some new secret stuff. For an example one recent secret thing found was when u are using drifter ability and increase the volume, u can hear a little girl singing.
I never really played decaying winter but I watch my friends play and always seems cool, and since the games back now I might as well give it a try. also.. You're very welcome for the little Sprites I made! It was very fun making it, and I can't wait for you to use some of them in future videos!! :D
What's absolutely INSANE to me is the ESRB generally treats alcohol and tobacco references as something that games as low as an E rating can have, but Roblox will completely DELETE your game for having them. (from what I can find) 141 games have tobacco references as one of the descriptors for the ESRB rating, and out of those 141, 29 are E, 18 are E+, and 91 are T. Only *3* are rated M. But on Roblox? Any mention of either, and boom, banned.
Roblox doesn't really want their investors to go to their children's website and see games with drinking and smoking (as those aren't really the best things for young dumb kids to see and like)
Everyone knows that Ak scavs giving you artery and broken leg and arm is what gives players nightmares. Also Matches, Arbiter will always be my favorite loadout.
I mean if bleeding is somehow a problem for you then it's okay to use matches i guess? arbiter is very fun to use if you messing around otherwise it's boring in matches you actually wanna survive and you gotta time that punch but its kinda hard now I'm rust and can't punchy the shell so now I do funny american revolver perk or samurai or funny perk you get for murderering a funny demon with 5x hp to other demons and you get to spawn ur very own dave david and bob's
Arbiter best perk, change my mind. Also, AK scav, simple, look at outpost from all angles before entering. The real toughy is mountain. Surviving a pounce from above at mountain is super difficult.
My favourite memory of dw was when i first saw the sickler. Being the dumb begginer i was i got close to him which triggered him. That was when i realized i did something stupid and i screamed as i saw him dashing at me. I literally got a heart attack LOL.
Blitzer is such a painful class, either you use it to troll or people become dumbos and run into your bombs and you troll on accident We all know the Meta is arbiter because it’s easy to play, you click one button and you’d clear a wave
Yea decaying winter is great especially with fact we getting new fan made that seem to at least double the content of it and considered to be sequel. "Decaying World"
One lil thing about the lore I think could be wrong or related is the scavs are seen as criminals, they also have data about the scavengers’ crime history for some reason. As u see executioner can see that.
It's true that the game can be difficult, but it is possible to beat, and understanding melee mechanics, vision mechanics and playing as careful as possible are all key to playing well. Soloing the game, that's hard. That's because this game is reliant on the multiplayer aspect to not only battle the tradeoffs of any perk choice, but also scavenge more faster. The game becomes easy when you play with even 2-3 fairly competent players, though still providing a challenge depending on what you end up facing. The map being the same between the two games is completely irrelevant, the map is only the same because red can't make maps (She said this herself). Next up the last strandeds game is an after battle of the True Ending, in which the ship fails to take off and you are stranded with the pilot. Next up, the Agency was stationed on the planet before the quarantine, that is when the virus outbreak occured. Eventually Ulacylon (The parent company of the agency who send the death squad wave in last strandeds) Abandons the planet completely, leaving the agents and survivors stranded. (Last Strandeds lmao) The agents entire goal is to survive against the people on Eden 227 who seek shelter within the warehouse from the storm (Which is taken by them when you try to escape the planet.) The scavs and raiders are seperate. Raiders are controlled by yosef, scavs by Sledge queen if I remember correctly. It might be the other way around. Finally, the reason Ulacylon wants the agency dead is because of the virus. When the virus outbreak occured Ulacylon ordered complete isolation and quarantine of the planet, the Agency didn't agree with this, they wanted people saved, not left to die. So the agency broke off from Ulacylon and in turn Ulacylon left them on the planet while eliminating their offworld counterparts. This is the lore as I know it. I've played DW for a long time, and I'm not saying the game isn't hard it certaintly is to an extent, there's a lot to do, see, manage and all of your decisions matter, but with appropriate understanding of the mechanics and gameplay the game does become significantly easier. Finally I want to mention that I liked your video, and I hope you relook over the lore with some of my information to see if you can do better next time! (None of what I said is 100% but I'm pretty confident.)

I think it’s important to note here, the music you’ve used is called “Forged in Sineicos”. Part of the Gods Will Be Watching OST, which most of the scavenge period music uses. That song is used in chapter 4, where you are stranded in a diseased planet called Sineicos. You are part of Everdusk trying to stop Xenolifer from using the Medusea virus as a weapon, and on Sineicos, the heart of the disease, is where you’ve been stranded with the cure that’s been taken from you by Xenolifer. You must fix a radio with your team and call reinforcements to survive. If you don’t eat, you will die. If you don’t fix the radio, you will die. If you don’t cure others, you will die. And on top of all that, if another person loses morale and leaves, you bet that everyone else is gonna feel down. There’s your Decaying Winter right there, forged in Sineicos.
Unfortunately knowing the lore as it is, though I can see the inspiration, I do not think it directly correlates with what we already know about Decaying Winter, like the previous ruling of Ulacylon and the R.I.S. As well as considering our position, the reikgon cult and more. It seems that there is far more to it, and rather than being the lore for the game, Gods Will Be Watching is only an inspiration as were many other games. (Arbiter from ultrakill my beloved)
My favorite moment of when I was playing decaying winter was when I was playing vagabond and the sicker spawned and my whole team died expect for me lucky the turrets managed to deal enough damage to make me able to one tap it so I sliced its head off with my vagabond sword it was legit the coolest thing I ever done in my life that was when my life peaked legit anime moment fr
i remember playing the very first umg game and actually meeting the creator later on in the rebooted version i got to be friend a moderator in the game but we didnt talked and later on i noticed his account is "inactive"
do you mind explaining the reikgon/demon part (i have no idea how they came to be) and the raider boss being an agent, i assume ur talking about sledge queen? since i heard that some ppl also say she just stole an agents equipment and is not actually an agent
my favourite dw memory is that me getting apostle for the first time i was artillerist there was a sickler charging my teammate and he was killed then the turrets opened fire on it and then i took the last shot with my perk artillerist and then i got apostle and i SCREAMED in joy i was so happy
1:36 "because other roblox can show you detail on human organism after shotgun blast" example are red box, it got banned for guess what? right, detail on human organism after shotgun blast, but it get back because devs add a detail where gore. blood and bits are off by default while DW is having cigarrets and alchol by default, you can't turn these off AND also has violence, gore and bits that can't be disabled so, don't ask how these games are allowed

I really hope we'll get a decaying winter remake sometime Maybe even a complete game built off-platform, though the chances of that happening are lower than my dad coming back.
actually I think last stranded takes place after the main game because there are definitely sleepy agents in chairs with fake melees and ketchup after scavs took over the base, but now the storm part I don't know, the storm now covers a circle jn the middle of the map aka the next teams base and just stranded and somehow crafts people outta thin air or the agency sends em bcuz scrap could be money money for their funds fundy
Decaying Winter is a game that will give you a combination between hating everything and everyone around you and not wanting to stop playing. Literally I think a few years ago I played it and absolutely despised it, then I played it I think 2 days ago, now I'm addicted and can't stop ;-;
I don't know if someone else has already said this but a small correction: the creator of the game has stated that Eden 227 was inhabited by a fairly normal (a lot of convicts were also sent) group of people due to thermal generators keeping the planet warm. Those thermal generators eventually fell which led to most of the collapse of the planet and most people living there turned to murder and scavenging to stay alive. The players are part of the fourth wave of agents. The previous three were mostly killed except for Yosef and Sledge Queen who deserted the agency and joined the scavengers and raiders respectively.
@@slowbro8912 Well the star was always extinguished but thermal generators were used to keep the planet warm and suitable for human life until they failed and the collapse began
every now and then i play this game when i'm bored just to die over and over again never reaching level 5 (until now), despite the hard nature of this game, i enjoy the combat system and it's pretty fun, even though i can't really do anything past wave 3 and just let everyone else carry me so i'm not really sure how to progress in the game
Imo, last strandeds is probably a subcanon since theres no ties to decaying winter, the reikgon are reikgone and the scav bosses are nowhere to be seen, im guessing its a different universe where all the agents got killed and the virus didnt exist meaning the reikgon had no purpose
All roblox gotta do is block the game for younger people and just separate the kids from people that are 13+ and up and then theirs not that much of problem but decaying winter also has to do things so it doesn’t get taken down again
this video was made 7 months ago at the time im writing this but one of my favorite moments was when me and my friend were still newish to the game but i had prior experience. so somehow, in 1 night, the factions somehow managed to awaken a skinner, anger a sickler, and got sledge queen out of her damn castle and coming to slaughter me and my friend (my skull got bashed in then he bled to death shortly after)
I actually found a pretty cool youtuber, which is planning to make an OPEN WORLD type decaying winter game, which from the leaks is gonna look really good but also gonna take long due to numerous breaks which are understandable(the animations are awfully smooth and so is the scripting)
hey just here to give a update on umg:r from a players view point. the game got taken down by the creator after abandoning since the community were being morons to the people that entertained them for free. everyone rushed to the other umg type game sof (survival of the fittest) but after a week it got taken down again. 3 weeks after umg:r got taken down it got reposted by the creator, and aparently he might be working on the game again or a different game. also, sidenote: the creator of umg:r is now the reposter of decaying winter, effectively giving him all control over the games with that style of gameplay.
I know it's back, but I hate the fact that months after the original decaying winter was banned. Roblox just said "hey lets ban last stranded just to say f you to the players who play and enjoy the game". Okay, it is understandable why they banned the game considering the drug use and gore. But what about other gore games? Yes it's optional to turn on gore in some of those games, but I know damn well a 6 yo child is smart enough to press the "turn on gore" button. I'm happy it's back tho :)

with the new 17+ rating it might be possible for it to come back as it was (assuming it didnt already which considering that video in the lower left of my screen titled "dacaying winter is good" from 2 months ago while this video is from 4 months ago)
the holdout mode was confirmed to be some other people who got stranded on eden and witnessed your evacuation attempt go wrong and now believe that maybe somebody will get them out if they holdout (he said the thing!!!1!!11!!!!!!!) long enough
i dont like how people was glitching guns in decaying winter so when i saw with my own eyes someone stole another guys's OMEGA AGENT CONTAINER (the one with lots of stuff inside) nd then doing the infinite ammo glitch with that container and shooting the gun like no tomorrow, i stole the gun when he dropped it and he started talking in caps to give him the gun back or he would lure SQ to base and spawncamp everyone i scrapped it already so i could not give it back even if i wanted to so he lured SQ to base and for some reason kept calling her 'baba gurl' and when she didnt come for him he would say something like 'noo baba gurl rejected me' i survived the ordeal cuz every night i climbed on top of mountain and SQ didnt see me after a few nights of him luring SQ to base and dying in the process he still had the audacity to ask someone to press 0 so he could glitch again (he didnt mention glitching) we then votekicked him because now everyone knew he was tryna glitch i got 4 morale for 5 nights straight
